This phone design looks like a prototype rough draft

Ridiculous why it's almost standard nowadays to not include a charger.

What a visual downgrade. This phone looks like a budget phone from 2014. What a shame since the Zenfone 9/10 was one of the best looking devices in recent years.

there was some truth to the rumors that the zenfone was ceasing production last fall. clearly the asus division making consumer phones (the zenfone) closed up shop b/c small phones aren't profitable and gave its name to the rog phone division to 'keep the brand alive' even though it exposed rog's lack of creativity in keeping the zenfone appearance consistent

@@fightlies I know, and it’s a real bummer. Android needs more high quality, affordable devices. Samsung and their whole budget lineup sucks, Pixel is unreliable, and Sony is too expensive. One plus and Nothing are the only good brands left that are worth their prices.

Everyone, how about we put aside the things we hate about this phone for a sec? Alright, first of all, this Zenfone 11 Ultra is the first big Zenfone from Asus, so it’s kinda like Asus experimenting with a bigger phone and eventually going mainstream with it, a bigger phone going with the name “Ultra” makes sense here. Imagine Asus calling this phone the “Asus Zenfone 11 Pro”, than tell me the difference between this and the Zenfone 10 in visual design, it’s impossible. In conclusion, the Zenfone 11 Ultra is called “Ultra” because it’s to clearly shows that it’s bigger in size. Alright, next comes the second thing, saying that this phone is like a budget phone from 2014? Wrong, it’s actually the fact that we “hate” this phone that lets Asus know that they went wrong and therefore going to a better big phone with the “Zenfone 12”. This is a good thing for Asus. Alright, next comes the third thing, who tf uses a compact phone anymore? It’s 2024, not 2014. Looking back in time, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, the Xiaomi 11 Ultra, the iPhone Pro Max, yeah sounds about right. In fact, Samsung already experimented with the Mega lineup back in 2013, but it got discontinued because of success. They knew that bigger phones were about to go mainstream. Same thing with Apple, they tried a Mini lineup and only to fail because of the Pro and Pro Max. In conclusion, bigger phones was already literally every smartphone back in 2020. Alright, next comes the fourth thing, saying this phone’s visual design looks like a prototype? What do you mean? To me it looks clean. Sure, the camera module may look odd but it doesn’t look disgusting. Alright I’m done.
Ok… after reading all that, you probably either agree with me or hate me. But please understand that I only said all that because I actually like this phone (congrats to Asus btw). It’s just my opinion on this phone (I don’t even use an Asus btw).

Весь этот софт никому не интересен. Железо и ручные настройки камеры - вот что хочется увидеть. Все равно будут накатаны рут, экспосед и всякие патчи через лп.

No innovation , samsung used to make better phones back in 2013
