I discovered this abandoned house recently and thought it was just another empty house until I explored inside and realized it was being renovated at some point a few years back and then suddenly it all stopped. It was a surprise to see all the families belongings just thrown around the shed out the back and it does make you think, what ever happened to these people because so much of their belongings were left there and the kids toys just laying in the dirt. I felt a sense of sadness looking through this house and the shed. Sorry about the noise of my breathing, I forget how good my camera picks things up. I had lung surgery last year and as a result I tend to get a little short of breath which I try to regulate hence the heavy breathing. The sound of me spitting things was the fact that bugs kept flying into my mouth.
Sorry about the camera cutting out at the end too. Would seem I ran out of memory but I was just headed back to my car as I was finished filming anyway.
Looks like youtube has squashed my vid a little as well???

Watching this blog makes the old body churn with sadness. Makes one wonder what happened. Children toys and equipment. Renovation materials. Just entrenched sadness feelings !!!!
OMG! I never saw anything like the tree frogs! Way beautiful! 💕❤️💜 Love from Pennsylvania!
Michael, I really like and appreciate you. You're compassionate towards people and animals as well. You're one of the good guys!
if I find info with peoples names on it I usually do a bit of research to see if their still kicking around,or where the families are.sometimes you'll find people who haven't had contact with rellies for ages and they die and the houses just sit there.nice find.love the froggies.
Those are the biggest green tree frogs I’ve ever seen! 🐸
Alice In VanLand aka LovesitWantsit no kidding I would freak out if I saw them
Clearly a project in the making. Nice explore, thanks for sharing.
I know this is not a new video but you were right. There was a deep sadness pervading this one. As if something just disrupted the entire family’s life. The concern for the beautiful tree frogs and the little snakes seemed to show a love of place and an intent and thought that life would be permanent here. Not transitory but permanent. A contentment and commitment, a feeling of home. Well, time to rein in my imagination and say great job. Quite a thought provoking video. Thanks for the trip.
Greetings from California!Nice to hear from 🇦🇺 by an Australian!Good explorations and much sucess to you.G'day!
This made me cry. it reminded me of a home my ex and I were remodeling, life was good, things were happy, then our past caught up with us, things we thought were far behind us...He went to prison sadly. I fell apart alone, had to abandon the place. it looks similar to this now Im sure. I couldn't go back their if I tried. I cried just watching this....
wow, that's sad :( hope things got better for you
I love Frogs. To me they have the demeanor of big beautiful Humble Dogs. Like a Lab or a Retriever and so forth.
Beautiful weather you are having, such a shame for whatever reason the family left. Love the little note about the tree snake.
i have never seen frogs that big before, wow. That was awesome.
Our tree frog are like thumb nail size
Those weren't just frogs! They were the owners of the house turned into frogs by Aliens!
Wow that's some green tree frog!!
I agree about the sadness. And there is nothing wrong with this video. It is very enjoyable. Thank you. You do a great job filming, btw.
Thank you so.much for this video, it's by far one of the best that I have seen recording wise (didn't make me feel like I was getting motion sickness lol) and you did a great job. It's sad to see houses that were once full of families, their memories, good and bad times left like this. Makes me want to go and clean it up and make it habitle again for another family.to live in
We used to live on a property that had an abandoned house on it and it was always so much fun to go and explore and wonder about the families that lived there
Look forward to more of your videos
I have never seen frogs that big! They're beautiful!
Very interesting. The house looked as if they were packing to leave and just stopped. Yet all that stuff in the barn thrown about ? Very cool big green frogs!
+AbandonedSC He gets frogs and you get bats and wasps haha, not fair.
Really GREEN frogs at that.
the one at 8:10 was so cute! :)
So Sad. Hard to believe that someone hasn't helped themselves to all that stuff in the house.
All what stuff?
Sorry for your health issues, get feeling better and thank you for sharing your video
these videos always makes me think how fleeting our processions and life are. Sitting here and working out what few processions people might want after iI have left. Not that I plan leaving anmtime soon.
Wow this just came up on my notifications, I cant believe I havent seen this before, I thought I had watched all your vids!
I love this town, I drive through at least a few times a year when visiting family.
Do you ever go back to see if some of these old beauties are still abandoned and standing years later? This is one I'd love to restore, after bringing the ride on out for a spin, I'm a scaredy cat when it comes to brown snakes.
That dairy shed would be amazing restored ❤
Hello. I really enjoyed this exploration. I read your explanation after I watched the video and I truly didn't notice your heavy breath. Those green 🐸 frogs were amazing!!
I love the tree frogs
You have so much respect covered name up before showing year are bless you
Loved the frogs! So beautiful! I’ve never seen anything like them in the States.
It’s hard to believe anyone would throw their own belongings out into an open shed like that. Maybe they weren’t paying the rent and got evicted and their stuff thrown out. That’s what happens here.
I forget the name of the document but I know for a fact theres a legal document application you can get from most legal firms, stating that if a house and property is abondoned by its owners for a specified time, anyone can claim ownership of the property and all contents on and within that property, Cant recall the name of the document, but could be an option for you bro, if you did the house up a little make it happy again you can rent it out to ppl, bring the house back to life make a family happy and you have a nice extra income in your pocket, hope my advice helps you :)
the legal term is adverse possession
youd have to live there for something liek 12 years without the owner setting foot on the property or doing any work with it to gain title to it though
That was pretty freaky how they had every thing there just waiting to fix it up. Thank you for the great explore.
Bonus!!! Green Tree Frogs!! Too cool!
I hope things worked out for this family.
also, dont forget that lots of places run out of water either because it doesnt rain or the bore goes dry. its real tough living in the aussie outback/bush/remote areas. some people cannot handle the isolation and remoteness. i got a feeling with this property, sad though just the same.
This is always sad to see a house that has just been left behind by a family. It looks like they were going to remodel that house too. Good video, thanks for sharing your find. I almost forgot, those frogs were cool as hell!!! Awesome frogs!
Like the little notes about the green tree frogs and the green tree snake that someone put on the walls
I found this really interesting, couldn't take my eyes off it. At first I was a bit bewildered with the presentation, I think I was expecting a running commentry about what you were seeing and your opinions abou it, but as the vid progressed, the quiet was actually more compelling, I felt I was in there exploring it beside you. This is really well presented and filmed, and you personally come across as someone who is passionate about what you do, and want others to enjoy it with you, not someone who wants there 15 minutes of fame. I've subscribed :) Well done again! :D
Great video. Love exploring the old houses.
It sad to see those old houses just rotten away
Wow these frogs by themselves were well worth watching this ! They were beautiful (as frogs go) they looked pretty healthy too, catching a noon day nap, I imagine they eat during the night when the bugs are out but who knows and they were big right - then again Australia is like Texas here in the states everything is bigger... even the lies!
Nice exploring , you right looks as they have left all for some reasen. like the green big frog they found new home :)
That's some epic grass growing around there. If anyone every buys that place...I don't envy the one who has to do the mowing.
Thank you for sharing. It is a bit sad, makes you wonder what happened to the family that was living there.
Are bless you you're breathing sounds very heavy means you're anxious take it easy deep breaths omg that frog is chuffing Hugh hope no one hurts it this place is very run down.be careful bless you for sharing this thankyou so much.
Cool for leaving the treesnake alone :)
returning from a three month trip to England i arrived to find the house i own and live in by myself in the Sutherland shire area had all sorts of notices and orders on it as the neighbors had complained to the local council that my garden had grown vegetation or weeds. nowhere as bad as the garden in this video. The neighbors had involved the police , the council , and added by throwing there own garden waste trying to make it look worse. The neigbor has offered to buy my house and wont take no for an answer so he his family and friends started an harassment campaign to try and have me move out. That house you are in will be owned by some one.
What the fuck, Angus
Why didn't you just pay a gardener to take care of the yard?
That was a bit irresponsible of you wasn't it?
Nice not to see graffiti all over the place lie here in the states. Nice video. Will watch more!
Nice job once again...thanks
Class! video.✌👍
I only wish I could own a little piece of land to call my own after being screwed over all my life by others. To see places like this sit & rot when I'm desperate for a 'home of my own' - it just isn't right.
Any information about this house, when it was built, the last time anyone lived there, I like when there’s a story or dates on the abandoned houses. It seems like they where renovating and put most of the stuff in the shed and then they left, very sad 😢
Some big well fed frogs love them...looks like they were going to do a major Reno ,thanks for the vid
Very nicely done. Perfect mix of filming and talking. Really enjoyed! A new suscriber :)
Excellent video. No one should mind your breathing.I was so fascinated watching that I didn't even notice.Had to laugh at the heartfelt pencil notes on the walls.Seems my soul twin must have been there.I don't kill anything .Thank you so much for this video. Is this something you often do?If so I will subscribe.
+Candy Santillo Yes, check out his other vids.
+b3autifullife thank you. Will be sure to.Ive just subscribed
Reading what SlyDol said, maybe it was a case where the parents died, and the children were fixing it to rent out or something, and then gave up on it all.
Oh my... those frogs as big as a chicken lol !
Looks like they really loved & cared for the native animals, I had no idea frogs could be that big! They were magical 🐸🐸
very good video, I like it. greetings from Austria
seeing a big old green tree frog that big wow man that was great
Those frogs were gorgeous! Loved them! Not sure what you meant in the description by "broken dreams"-it pretty much looked like any ordinary abandoned house. Doesn't mean that the family was kicked out or anything like that, they probably just moved and left some things behind that they probably didn't want to take with them and were probably going to replace anyway. Great video!
I believe that he was mostly referring to the fact that someone was beginning to remodel the house, based on all the left materials, and then, obviously, never finished.
maybe someone renovating an old family house into a weekender. hence the insulation, kitchen white goods etc..
They wouldn't have left the house open then, Michelle Le Fevre, and they'd be made to keep the yard under control. Having the yard as it is, then it attracts snakes etc.
lovely creaturs.. thanks for share.
Made me smile to see net curtains at the windows....who is going to see in?
in most cases where the family leave everything the reason is a job overseas, so all they take is their most valued possessions, i don't understand why most folk automatically go to the tragic scenario
The tragedy is because the owner has failed to board the place up with big padlocks and keep out signs it will be descended upon by scavenging thieves looking to justify property theft.
If that was the case irene brennan, that they moved overseas for whatever reason, then the owners/family would have sold the rest of their possessions, or put it all in storage, and sold the house.
It looks like they were remodeling the house and just ran out of money and the bank took all over
Yes, that's what I was thinking xoxox
Loved the 👀WATCHED
You take note of names addresses etc and search for relatives put them back in touch with their property, maybe you might find distant relatives who didn't kno the property was left like this.
Looks to me like part of a larger property. Otherwise it would be sold off by now. That thing at the end that you turned the handle is a cream separator.
You sir are crazy and the crazy good :) I tend to get skittish when its a building surrounded by really tall grass and only go in if someone is with me otherwise I put it on my"return" list.
17:15 the camera points at a drawer while he opens a drawer off camera. I thought the drawer was opening on it's own and I about pooped' my own drawers.
Here's my theory, those crows slowly but surely drove them out of their rotten little minds and they are living at 'ol Sunnybrook Happy Farm to this very day. Or they won the lottery and moved somewhere there are no crows, like Antarctica.
You're right! It is sad!
What become of the people that lived here?
Omg love the tree frogs. Are you ever worried about poisonous snakes and insects? I really like your videos. What happens to the things that are found in these houses?
Another great vid Mike, LOVE those big fat healty Tree frogs, must be plenty of bugs for them. As for what happened to the people who lived there, maybe they were squattting or renting and fell behind on the rent and they did a runner and ;eft everything behind. Its happened to a freind of mine who owns houses where the tenants have been behind and then done a runner, leaving a big mess for him to clean up after. Who knows for sure what happened here.
I thought that was a ceramic frog, until I saw it's throat moving. I didn't know they came in that color. ...cool!
love the videos from wester new york.
Could be that they were a family with children, who fell on hard times, it was repossessed and someone bought it and was fixing it up, and that person threw all their stuff out back. Than maybe the new owner died, or something. Or she left him and took the kids, and he was working to remodel it, and just gave up. Sad case, however you look at it.
Plausible theories, Carol. It’s almost never mass murder or plague.
Looking at the house on google maps, it shows there are people in it and it's well maintained. lawn mowed ect. but it show it is in 2010 map. today is 31st Dec 2019
I just ran across your vids. Killer job. So glad that " green snake" 🐍 didn't find ya..haha. Keep up the Awesomeness...be safe and hello from Michigan U.S.A 👋
Hi Micheal,Love your videos.Just wondering about this house. Is this one of those houses that is to be demolished for the upgrade of the Pacific Highway?I noticed that the house is in Woodburn but am not to sure of its location and just wanting to know if its gone or still standing.I know you did this video a couple of years ago,any update would be appreciated.Thanks.
If they havnt built it by now they prob never will.
Hi Michael, wow those tree frogs were so cute :). Strange how they left pretty much all of their belongings there, I wonder if they were deported as their visa or whatever ran out and they couldn't get residency. x
Some of these abandoned houses has very sad stories behind it. :(
Weird .Every Time that I wanted a better look at something you'd go back to it or zoom in on it.And, yes.I agree with you about getting that sad ,uneasy feeling.it raises more questions than it gave answersDid that last little building appear to be a work shop/small stables? Was that a meat grinder? still,I found it all fascinating.Thank you for taking chances and recording this.
+Candy Santillo That was a grain mill. And the metal box to the left as he entered was a wash station. My grandparents had both of those items in their barn (Arkansas). I know in this day and age, you can exchange plates in grain mills to make them to grind meat, not sure if this one was was capable of it or not. If you look at the bottom of the mill, you can see some grain still there. Looks like wheat heads but I wouldn't swear to it. Also, they wouldn't have a meat grinder that close to live cattle. My grandparents ground their meat on their (enclosed) back porch. If it happened to be nice out, they ground the meat out by the pig pen and would throw the gristle, ect, to the pigs, otherwise grandpa had to carry it out to the pen in this big metal wash tub.
+Candy Santillo Grandparents butchered their animals in a room that was connected to the smoke house. That way he didn't have far to carry the meat as it was right there by the smoke house & the smoke house was right there beside the house. All very conveniently situated.
+annaroseannadanna thank you the info and for sharing your story.
Looks to me like someone got evicted and the bank took it back and sold it to someone to who tried to flip it. He probably ran out of money during the remodel and either left it as it is or went into bankruptcy and the bank took it back and let it sit.
That stuff in the shed is an older person's stuff. I think the original owner died and left it to family...who just shoved their relative's things in the shed thinking they'd move in. Then they decided not to...or couldn't for some reason. There was a pram in the house...but the things visible in the shed were definitely an older woman's things.
love your videos
It is a shame when you come across homes like this...and inside the house everything has very little dirt or decay! Like they were using it for storage? But they haven’t been there in a while obviously. There looked like a Plantain tree growing and wasn’t that a dragon fruit bush on the back building? Ya, too bad there wasn’t any fruit on it! Sad and interesting place! Too bad you didn’t see the green tree snake! The frogs were gorgeous!
I came for the house but stayed for the Frogs. :)
Really strange. Looks as if they were remodeling the house. Could not tell if that was rolls of insulation or duct work.
nice! green tree frogs.
I DON'T KNOW IF YOU BUY INTO TH PARANORMAL HUN, BUT I DID SEE LOT'S OF ORBS, YES THEY CAN BE DUST AND POLLEN TOO, BUT SOME OF THEM, WERE NOT. ALSO, IN THAT LARGE SHED, DID YOU NOTICE THE ALL SEEING EYE PAINTED ON THE WALL. ALSO, THE WORD... WATCHED UNDER IT! Sorry for the caps.... always enjoy your journeys !
What is that plant growing by the shed door? It had yellow tassels on it. We don't see that here in USA. Very pretty.
Leone Dolliver Look like a succulent plant I have in my backyard. Maybe growing through a dead tree.
Did a quick search it's called a moonlight cactus a very overgrown one ☺
So pretty.
Those broken wall panels look like thy are old asbestos sheets.
Or old fibro. I had that in my house for years before first flooding in my house 2010
Canada here ... wow I love your vieos I should call you Crocodile dundy lol ...Thank you sir for make me travel and transporte to so many places ! I will surely follow your videos ...and make favor sir put a mask and boots lol then again great work you do ...P.s sorry for some error I'm French Canadian . yep there a lots of French Canadian in Canada ( Québec ) take care now Zena :)
wow old frogs ! you can see their marks, they really live there !
it looks like they left behind all junk for some one else to clean up I hope they don't move on and do the same to another place nice video your brave I would be scared to death to venture in to a banded house you never know what might be waiting in side stay safe.
Lol looking at the painting and right behind it was an old wood stove door. Much more interesting
Beautiful frogs wow
I don't see anything like they were going to remodel, it just looks like it was a dumping ground.
Interesting. If it were me, I would be wearing boots and gloves so not to get bitten anything but that is me.....LOL.
Probably another sad case of a renovation project that went sour. "Kermit" & co. seem to have found a home there, though. That beacon light door (12:28) is pretty cool, especially the colour. Is it from an oven or a stove or something else? Thank you for sharing.
Was that a rattler around 12:10? So many noises..I would be terrified. Also those spiders you guys get down there would definitely have me running.
We don't get rattlesnakes here in Australia, the ones to look out for are the browns, red.belly blacks, death adders and tiger snakes
Hi from USA love your videos
Yeah Michael, I’ve got u back. I got a new iPhone n when I went to U tube for my subscription of u n others they weren’t there. It’s been taking me quite awhile to figure this new phone out but finally found U n others. I’m so happy. Now I’ve got to figure out why this phone let me see full video when I turn the phone at a angle. Dumb phone. Anyway I’m happy to be back watching ur great videos n listening to tell about the place n of course ur humor. I didn’t get to see the whole video of this one farm house as I said it was difficult to watch on this phone cuz it won’t give me a full page or whatever. But from what I could see it amazing that it’s still standing n so full of stuff. Looking so forward to seeing more n hopefully I’ll have figured out this phone so I can see it all. Sorry to have bored u with my troubles but I to had to share. PS if anyone has a iPhone R X ( I think that’s what I got) n know how to fix to be able to watt the full video pls share Thanks. ♥️
i know its been 5 months so maybe you worked it out, but if youre using the RUclips app, touch the screen on the video (while it's playing) and on the bottom right of the screen theres a square. tap that and it'll make your video full screen : ) To exit, touch the screen again and press the inverted square shape on the bottom right corner !
