They're always abusing the European markets and I have no idea how they get away with it and how the EU commission are allowing this. I know people who bought a S90D and only realized later on that they got tricked into buying QD-OLED but got a WOLED instead.. Truly a shamless move from these companies.
In fairness unless they're side by side you won't notice the difference, the woled looks phenomenal & the colours pop on it & will ultimately achieve a higher brightness peak. I'm loving my s90d now i found the perfect picture settings for gaming. It would be nice to have the choices but seeming as we don't try not to see things in a negative light.
@@mac8669hmmm no. Samsung's only advantage in the OLED space is QDOLED. A WOLED Samsung won't compete with LG and Sony. It's misleading at best to suddenly change the model and down grade the quality of the series.
@@salesfocus6270 no doubt the QD panel is more appealing im sure but unless they're side by side, differences won't be seen, it's a phenomenal panel i have one at home
The risk you take at not buying such a tv with $1000 off right now is that when its on sale around black friday it wont be available because everyone will have bought it and by the time its available again the sales are over so you lose out in attempt to save like....another hundred bucks or something. Now its back up to $3000.
I was looking at the QNX1D, and it seemed very similar to the QN85D, except having feet versus a pedestal stand. A Samsung agent confirmed it’s the same TV and that’s the only difference, but take that for what it’s worth.
I just checked camel camel camel for you and the lowest amazon has ever had it at 65inch was $1399, and that was just earlier this month. That indicates to me that yes, it will be cheaper for black friday (at any retailer). You dont have long to wait and could probably save a couple hundred.
@@TechWithKG thanks. I will wait. I currently have a C2. Not sure if it’s even worth it right now or not. I know the S90 D is better though. At least for gaming
I'm looking out for Sansui in the 65" range. not quite the same as it's WOLED, but at the relative price point of their 55", if the processing is up to snuff....
Crazy when they do this kind of stuff. I just picked up a 55" S90D for my home office. My LG C1 got a little burn in so I figured why not upgrade. I couldn't fit a 65 inch but in my area best buy still has the S90C for $1299 for a 65 inch.
@@TechWithKG it sure is. That's the price I paid for a 55" S90D. I was surprised too, my S90D is super clean. That I expected but no dead pixels, no dead sub pixels, no bent panel, perfect TV. Didn't have to swap it out. I've been lucky now with 2 TVs in a row. It's QD OLED or nothing for me from here on.
I’ve been keeping my eye on that Insignia 85” F50 TV ever since it appeared on the site. Insignia’s are BB’s best kept secret, they are actually pretty solid. How low do you think the 85” will drop for BF? Would be a steal at $599
I'm more curious in the TCL QLEDs that Best Buy pumps out exclusively this time of year. Last year it was the 55" Q5 Google TV for $250 ($220 on Black Friday). From what I gather, there's very little difference in the Q5 or Q6 lines except where you could buy them in 2023. I'm seeing something similar this year with (slightly above) budget TVs at Best Buy, except now they're running Fire TV. I haven't explored any deeper than seeing them in stacks at Best Buy though. 😄 edit: FYI: the 55" Q5 Google TV image is solid, but the response times are dog shit slow. it's obvious where they cut corners to minimize production cost.
One of the irritating issues is these TV's most places are not clarifying 120HZ vs the 60HZ refresh rates. I've been looking at TV's and passing the Black Friday circus, not worth it. I miss the days of "dumb" TV's where you don't have to sign up with email just to watch a fawkin' TV like Samsung is doing so they can collect your damn data!
Don't fall for these non descript TVS that they put out during holiday season. You don't have no idea what they are. Could be leftovers thrown together to get rid off.😂😂😂
You were spot on! The TV is now 1599 at Best Buy!
I have the S89C and boy what an amazing TV.
Definitely picked a good one!
People were sleeping on that TV until it sold out, haha. Enjoy it!
It's truly amazing
It’s at 1599 now this or B4 what would you go for ?
I'm glad i bought the s89c when i did what a beast it's just like s90c with a little more discount
I hate when they do this why the hell were all s90c sizes in UK qd oled and now the s90d are all woled and especially when there's a s85d woled model

Damn u called it its 1599 rn at Best Buy lol
Would you buy it at 1599?
I bought it yesterday at $1599 and now that I’ve watched this video I’m second guessing my purchase. Might pay a bit more and get a better one.
@@SirScottlandhe did say that it’s a great deal if it dropped to 1599
Was going to go 84D, but decided on B4 because S84 doesn’t have any HDMI 2.1 ports, and all four are 2.1 on the B4.
Maybe they will make an A94L Sony for $2k for a 77 inch….We can dream right?…
😅🤣 unfortunately the Bravia 8 is the lowest they are willing to go as far as OLED goes 😢
Definitely is a dream 😂
You missed the 83" LG B4 - That is a pretty good price for an 83" if it has all the features of the 77" B4

The exact conundrum I find myself in. Debating on buying one tomorrow, or waiting a few more weeks into November
Trying to catch a falling knife.
Could you buy the TV not open it and then wait and see if there is a bigger sale and return it if necessary.
Just picked up S84D yesterday for 1599. They have 6 available
Thanks!

Yeah thats what I figured youd think those feet are more inconvenient for buyers than the QN85C weird product.
S90D for $1599 65 inch. Should I get now or wait until Black Friday?

If I had to guess, I think the QN80D might be a QN85D with an IPS/ADS panel & maybe cheaper parts like lesser speakers, fewer backlight zones etc.
That be pretty interesting and kind of a surprise I have yet to see a Samsung TV with an ADS panel this year
@@TechWithKG If I’m right, it’ll probably be them repurposing leftover panels from last year’s C models. Obviously just a guess on my part.

83 c4 or 77 g4

and hows the b8 compare to bith c/g4
S84D or B4 at $1600 is hitting my sweet spot. But could I give up on having QD-Oled? 🤔
