Thank you Shawn! Your totally by far the most down to earth and I have to say most smiley guitar tutor on RUclips :-) you manage to make the even the tricky and advanced songs a pleasure to learn. Your passion for music must be just be infectious lol
Thanks! Just picked up some cheap clamp lights a couple weeks back and a new camera at the beginning of the year. I'm surprised people actually watched my first videos that I shot with my camera, the difference is striking. You're doing good work over on your end Chris. Keep it up!
Thanks so much I got this down really well! I have a gig in a few weeks and I wanna play this, but I've no clue how to sing it at the same time. Any tips?
On the tab you have "2" written for part of it. Is this meant to be 4 (i.e. 2 in relation to the capo) or is it meant to be 0? Because the capo is on 2
i'd tried play guitar several years ago, but i'm stop learning because i'm stuck and i live far away from the things that could give me enough information about how to play guitar properly (i mean internet) cause i live in the village where there is no internet connection at all. But now, this video kinda inspired my to learn playing guitar again and i like this song too. Hopefully you got video for beginner like me who want to learn playing guitar from scratch a.k.a newbie and i'm sorry cuz my english sucks.
I love you videos! I'm trying to learn guitar and the majority of my knowledge is coming from your videos. Thank you. I'm trying to learn "I see fire" by Ed Sheeran but it seems complicated. Could you do a tutorial? Thanks.
Such a good tutorial thank you! Only thing is I think it's a tone too high? I found when I played along with original playing without a capo everything down 2 frets was the original
Sir, i think your version is higher than what is in the album of ed sheeran. Could you help us with another version of your tutorial, if you don't mind. Thanks
Great Tutorial, but I am a bit confused as to why the Capo, as the song is clearly in D. I agree with Gavin. The lesson as great but no Capo needed if you are playing along with the song
What I love about Shawn is that he understands you don't have to be playing the exact same thing as the original artist to play a song, the Definition of Music is Interpretation AKA Feel the Music don't Read the Music
You don't have to capo anything. Just tune to open E and then tune the 3rd string up an extra half step or just play the 3rd string notes a fret higher.
What I do is put my capo on the 2nd fret, then tune the E - - - B E (EADGBE) strings to how it sounds without the capo, you have to tune the E B and E (Low E, B and high E) a whole step down which means two frets. So do that and voila you're in DADGAD tuning :)
Descendeur :D No, DADGAD esta es la afinacion. En la afinación estándar (Mi), la cuarta cuerda la afina en Re, y la segunda en La, todas las demás las dejas igual.
Very very simple. EADGBE is going to be DADGAD. Start with your high e string tune it down. Until ur tuner says its on D. Then go and tune ur B string down to A and then ur low E string down to D. And ur good to go!
There's an app called guitartuna I tune the e string to -20 or -19 and do the same thing to the b string and the e string I don't know if it works well but it's good enough I think
If you have seen him play it he plays it with a capo on the second fret. Go watch his video and you will see. I would rather go off of that then what it may say off a website. Btw I hope this didn't come off mean I was not trying to sound that way.
Stoney037 but if you listen carefully to the CD studio version, you will hear, that it is on the key of D (capo 0). But it is always tricky with ed sheeran since he plays some of his songs in different tune

Awesome! Thanks for the tutorial video!

If you watch the official video Ed plays it with a capo.
Could you do a tutorial on 'photograph' by Ed sheeran in DADGAD tuning?
Sir, i think your version is higher than what is in the album of ed sheeran. Could you help us with another version of your tutorial, if you don't mind. Thanks

PLEASE DO NEW YORK BY ED SHEERAN!!!!
Great Tutorial, but I am a bit confused as to why the Capo, as the song is clearly in D. I agree with Gavin. The lesson as great but no Capo needed if you are playing along with the song
Your really cool! Keep going :)

All of the stars please? :)
I'll check it out!

I'm getting confused in Make EBGDAE to DADGAD please clear my doubts

what camera are you using?
Roh Nah Canon Rebel t3i. Simple but effective.
it's so clear... how did you do it?? did you still edit some stuffs??
Deja revisar.
I am not able to tune my guitar in DADGAD . I tried using a tuner but Still I failed. :'(

Thank you, this helped me a lot! A cover is up on my channel. Check it out!
this song is on capo 0 and the whole tab should be written a whole note down, according to the studio version
If you have seen him play it he plays it with a capo on the second fret. Go watch his video and you will see. I would rather go off of that then what it may say off a website. Btw I hope this didn't come off mean I was not trying to sound that way.

Wee Rmusic I Agree...
oh my god his voice sounds like Ross from friends haha
It's nice, but not accurate on how Ed Sheeran plays it.
Ewerton Luna bruh. This is exactly how ed plays it...
Ewerton Luna it’s how he plays it live
This whole tab is wrong........
