So take durable blades you can sharpen once a season and replace them with trimmer line? Genius! I was looking for a way to spend more time UNDER my mower deck.
On a mower with a hydraulic deck that can be lifted with a button for maintenance sure. But a riding tractor where you have to remove the deck and do harder labor for maintenance maybe not
Trying to solve a issue we have never had how long has riding mowers been made lol if it was a good idea to use trimmer string then we would’ve along time ago this is dumb
That's a big pass.... How often do you have to replace them every time you cut the grass ???
How does it work when the yard actually needs mowing?
It wont
You have to cut the grass every day

Nice! Never can have enough tasks to do right? Why not add swapping string all the time to the never ending list?
Why? As soon as the line wears you will have strips of uncut grass. Plus you’ll have to change them every 20 minutes.

Finally he demonstrated. I’m not sold on the idea just yet.
How long do they last with normal cutting not using it as a bush hog. Looks like they would wear out fairly quick.
You should show the blades of grass up close, like all broken and stuff
I wanna see how it does on 8” high grass
Nice! Bit of advice from experience - use a wrench to tighten your bolts to avoid stripping.
that’s a low torque impact, he’s fine 😂 if it was a half inch drive then you’ll need to stop before stripping

@@josiahcampbellmusic😂😂😂 if you don’t dispute facts, you must not be a Democrat.
It would work fine for upkeep of a lawn that has already been cut down with a blade, but thats about it
That’s like putting a potato in place of a brake pad !!😂😂😂 Worthless

Do that every 20 minutes or so ,bet you will go back to blades
Just wht i was thinking
I want to see it cut some tall grass.

Junk
Safer... no one's gonna lose a foot
How might one lose a foot on a RIDING LAWN MOWER??
Are you trolling me , because I think it’s working.
Better on wear and tear and probably spins faster i support it would definitely use it it has pros and cons
Just buy a flail mower for your grass hopper
All thise sticks i never pick up before i mow will destroy that string.
As easy as string trimmer string is to break?😂😂😂😂 good luck on this! This is one HELL NO! I'm not about to drop my deck every 20 mins!
It'll cut 2 inch grass but what about anything taller than what was cut 2bdays ago
Mow some grass that has a couple of weeks of growth.
Replace each pass
