Soooo.. when you bake the NAVMESH it has a purple floor… but when I bake the NAVMESH it creates are tall big white box.. anyone know what’s going on? I’m new with circuits! 😬
Make sure you navmesh has objects in it so it can create navmesh, but if it is really tall it might be getting something the is really high up, so fly up there and delete it if that's the problem.

The random from list that's getting a random pathpoint might be executing too much. Make sure it's only executing once by checking the if chip and the bool variable that's connected to it. Watch my second ai vid I think I went over this.

You make the animations for your monster and connect the monster to the main part of a clamp, and connect the animations to clamp and play the animation.

I just found a bug where this actually just follows the room authority but there will be a Video out later today showing how to fix it and make it follow the closest player.
It's just how the chip works, only the authority if the room can spawn the AI and by using an event sender and event receiver you can send an event to the room authority to activate the AI.

Hey you should do a tutorial on the pathfinder component in Rooms2.0 because rec room is starting to lean heavily to 2.0 so it would be more beneficial to people in the future.

Ya, you move your main map or the ai map really high up, so you can't hear the goblin. No, you can't make an invention out of it because half the circuits are beta circuits, and you can't publish beta stuff.

Make sure that your random from list (The Random that gets a random pathpoint) is only activating once. That's what that If chip and Bool variable is for, it only activates once.
Watch my second AI video. It might help you. Make sure your pivot point is in the middle of your monster and you have the correct tag and can modify with circuits on your monster.

Make sure the player variable is being set to nobody so set it to Invalid Player after the delay. Check 11:59 spot in the vid.

Theres a problem with the ai path, theres points where the AI stop pathing and just kinda slides and stops pathing for some reason, any fixes?

When i summoned the ai it always knows where im at and never stops chasing me and dosen't follow the ai path

Is there any way to make the goblin faster than 10? It’s kinda lame because my game has a huge map, and you have to move slower because of the limit.
There's no limit to how fast your ai can go. Just make the ai set pathing speed chip to however much you want.

Make sure the Y value on the vector3 that's is 10 or how high your map is.

You have to make sure you are the room authority if you are not the room authority. Watch 15:15 in the vid to spawn the goblin.
