I honestly use chairs to eventually get myself a chair leg (Technically a weapon and you can block with it.) After beating up some skeletons with some chairs, I get the equivalent of a short-ranged sword or what I like to call the dull hands, they are surprisingly effective and they don't look to bad, eventually they break.
I use pots on GT if the asshole of the team decides to shoot me and then go through the door (if it's unlocked) so I lose my weapons. They always take the sword at the start so I have no other option.

Most importantly When I use double swords, I use shields to block the fireballs in the Crimson Cauldron and Golden Trophy. Edit: At the Pitchfork, I use it on my PC, well you wouldn't understand but sometimes I use it for fast run?
Potions are obviously the best weapon since they can melee, be thrown, are pretty much weightless when swinging meaning you can swing them faster than a lot of other melees, and hit back shots from witches.
1. The crossbow is my secondary weapon mostly, I primarily use a sword and shield 2. I never really get too many friendly fire kills with an SMG, because I know how to use it 3. I use the railgun as my Jumbotron secondary weapon to offer some variety 4. Wands are ALSO my secondary in Crimson.

The crossbow is not bad, It has a long reload for your accuracy too, and Despite its Damage, Its a good Far range weapon without needing skill for the normal bows.
my favourite weapons/items from every quest golden trophy: the bow jumbotron: the shotgun crimson cauldron: the double damage potion lost skulls: the flintlock crescendo: the blunderbuss
For me it’s a bit mixed Golden trophy: grab two swords and then grab a shield for fireball guys (specifically the red ones) Rise of jumbotron: use a pistol on robots at start and smg on mice bots to get shotgun (and drop smg it sucks) Isle of skulls (or whatever): use any weapon I see if no frying pan
I used to be a level 10 sword and shield user, but now im level 50 and use bows. I use pretty much every jumbotron weapon, but i favor the pistol, even though i rarely play laser tag. Crescendo? Isle? Whats that, I play on Oculus Quest 1. In all seriousness, Crescendo is my favorite quest because of the uniqueness of the whip, and on consoles, the pitchfork still has charge movement so you can go really fast with them.
i win like almost any match with the swords i have a strategy where when you start kill the ones coming up the hall on a box or the floor then go to each side of the one room in level 1 with swinging the sword, once done go to level two and grab the crossbow with a shield and start firing then kill that one big room, the just go through every level normally!
I use broom for a different reason you see while me when I use cutlass it LITTERY kills SKELO right but for me it may hit you even tho your fighting so IFF I use broom it wil be eazy since it’s large and protect you from getting swashed

I use a combo of the bow and shield since I’m a bow master and can hit some wicked shots, but I can also shield bash and block when I need to
I don’t use a shield on my back meanwhile I use a bow cause if your shooting you might end up grabbing the shield instead of the bow

Tip: you can use the shield to “ram enemies” by whacking them with the shield and it will push and stun them
