Hello everyone! Today's video is a bit different because I am sharing with you my journey as a homemaker. Being a single mom is hard and trying to be a homemaker on top of that can be even more challenging but I have a desire to do more in creating a home for my children despite my status and I want to take you along as I learn how to be a homemaker as a single mom. I am making some pumpkin streusel muffins and folding laundry but overall, this is a peaceful fall homemaking vlog that I hope you enjoy.

I love this video!!! I never really thought about honoring God through my housekeeping. It's a great way to look at it. I always think cleanliness is next to godliness so I'm always cleaning and decorating. It makes me happy. It makes me even more happy to show God how much I appreciate everything he's blessed me with.

I love this new content. It was so peaceful and took a lot of stress off of me just knowing im not alone. Im a single disabled mother to an albino son with his on disabilities. He has never even met his father and im proud of my self for not giving up but this video most definitely opened my eyes to my own reality. I just talked to God about it right before i started this video. God is truly an on time God. Thank you so much for this. May God continue to bless and keep you and your handsome boys.

Such a great video. It's so hard to be a good mom, homemaker and in some cases, wife as well. I know your journey isnt easy but you are doing an amazing job. Give yourself grace and continue to focus on how God is leading and guiding you. I wish I had this video when my kids were younger. Even though I am married, the responsibility of needing to work full time while still managing my home, kids, husband was overwhelming. I applaud all single women that do this because it is so hard. Really loved your video.

This was so peaceful and relaxing. I love this. Even being able to hear the sounds of you moving things around while you were making your floral arrangements. Gives us a little bit of that ASMR feel. It’s so hard trying to be a good mom and even trying to enjoy homemaking at times. Hi Faith. This was a very peaceful video which I think reflects your spiritual journey and the place that you have arrived at. You have found peace. As a single mum myself whose child is now adult I recognise where you are at. I worked full time and became a home maker because I realised that my child needed a home and I really enjoyed it. You are so right it is important. My learning was that God blessed me so much with my home just as he is blessing you. You are able to be at home with your children and you can still earn an income. Organisation is key which includes making time for yourself and self discipline. I think you are doing so well. May the the Lord continue to bless you on your journey🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🌈🌈🌈

Thank you for this. I also have the same view that taking care of kids is actually a privilege. What God has given you is meant to be nurtured, cherished, taking cared of with joy, happiness and grace. When I do this, it makes me feel like I am doing what God expects me to do and this is showing that I honor him as my God.
I always look at tv when doing laundry or hanging up clothes that I need to put in my closet. It takes the edge off of tasks as well as listening to music. I understand totally about being the breadwinner, homemaker, and mother. Very hard jobs. God has been seeing me through and He will do the same for you. TFS, just what I needed.🙏💕

It is refreshing to see a woman of color creating this content because as you said in the beginning so often we see women who are married as homemakers and a lot of the times the image can also be of privileged women or women not of color. It is good to be reminded that we come from a line of homemakers and it is up to us to create the home that our next generation can grow and thrive in. Found your channel a while ago but just now came across this video. Just wanted to say that not only was this soothing and relaxing to watch as I folded my clothes, it was also very impactful. You are a beautiful woman of God, and your message about homemaking really hit home for me. I’m not a single mom, but I do solo parent sometimes for months at a time and I can identify with seeking refuge in the arms of parents/relatives for comfort. Thank you for the reminder of how important homemaking is for our children. God bless you!
I just found your channel after starting to watch homemaking videos over the past 6 months or so; I finally searched for “single mom” homemaking videos. I’m embarrassed to say I spent a _very long time_ living in grief and rage over our situation - the marriage/divorce, my ex-husband’s behavior, not having more children (I have one). I was partially disabled by the time of the divorce but have yet to get around to getting an attorney to assist me with , SSDI (I don’t _want_ to be disabled; I want my old energy and brain back!). We’ve been very low income for several years and I am just finally trying to surface enough to even contemplate the future. I appreciate the reminder that how we keep our homes (or don’t) will influence our children’s emotions in ways we may not readily see _and_ the permission/approval/allowance that _we_ are also important enough to deserve a calm home. I needed that.

New to your channel. So I’m just catching up on old videos, but I have to say I know exactly how you feel. I was a single mom for many years and sometimes I thought what’s the point. But I decided that I could be a homemaker for me and my kids. so I started decorating and baking. Now they’re all grown and gone, but when they are all together, they talk about how my house used to smell and how nice it was to have home-cooked meals. they have good memories of it. So keep up the good work you’re doing great.

I love everything you expressed in this video. I'm now learning to be a homemaker for myself and children. I've rebuild our lives through travel nursing. I’m not a single mom but I am a wife and mother of a husband with a disability which many times makes me feel like a single mom. But either way your Wise words have touched my heart. The Lord has been tugging on my heart for this past year about creating a home and not just a place to live in. I have a very interesting story as to where and why I am the way I am today but the Lord is still working on me and I think the Lord that I found this video and your channel.

I have been a single mom for 20 years. And I just now am realizing that I need to focus more on home making not just house cleaning like u said. I to have always felt it was for those who had a husband. I might add I am married but we been separated this whole time. He is on drugs and abusive and lives in and out of jails and penitentiary's of where he now resides. I got saved 17 yrs ago and the lord has helped me to make it, but I feel I've passed more fear than faith down to them. It's been hard cuz I have no family. My grandmother raised me since I was 3 by herself and she has been gone for 12 yrs. Anyway no sob story, I thank u for this video. I was looking up homemaking and found it. I knew it was God. Cause I've never seen one for single moms. U ministered to my soul ty! I plan on making some videos myself on the matter once I feel I can. Blessings sister! 🙌

Thankyou Faith I really appreciate this video you gave me a new perspective on the struggles that a single mom can have and how you don't want to give your children that perspective of not being comfortable at home with their mom as a single mom it can be stressful and overwhelming to not have that support in your house specially emotionally and to have two little ones depending on you and when you do create that space in your home and you do it with God he really will help you to have that peace. I Absolutely loved this video! I’m also a single mommy who has a two year old and I’m also struggling with what you were saying in making my home feel like home. I often feel overwhelmed with so many tasks and it’s hard to stay motivated. I get so frustrated because I feel like I’m always cleaning and I just want to be a good mommy to my daughter.
