ABOUT THIS CHANNEL | I am a wife to an exceptional man, a mother to beloved daughters, a diligent homemaker, and a businesswoman. But before all these roles I am a woman who belongs to The Lord. A daughter to the God of The Bible through the work of my savior Jesus Christ. On this channel, you will enjoy content designed to cultivate a rich experience of biblical womanhood. You will be encouraged to place your true hope and faith in the Lord. You will also hear hard discussions about accountability and personal responsibility for your life and what it produces. We embrace real character and integrity as much as we do physical beauty and femininity. We are called to be women of our Father's Kingdom and to honor Him with our speech, actions, and our modest yet feminine dress. I would love to have you along for the ride as we embrace a manner of life that brings honor to the name of our Father and get to the work of accomplishing our mission.

Not that I decked out my laundry room to make it super fancy but my husband hung an art piece that states “The most important work you will ever do, will be within the walls of your home.” And a nice chandelier. He understands I spend a LOT of time in the laundry room and while I tend to keep things practical, he wanted it to be pretty for me. It’s just for me, not many other people ever see my laundry room but it does perk me up to see a nice space for me to get the mundane done and that he did this for me because he appreciates what I do 🥰

While I'm taking care of my home I like to remember and meditate on what a blessing it is to have it and all of its amenities. I think that cleaning, maintaining, and respecting it is a way to show God that I am thankful for what He has given me. Instead of viewing it as a chore, it keeps me in a mindset of gratitude and peace.

@@doll.ov.poetrii4682 here's another point. The Bible was written by men. Therefore it reflects their values, wants, needs and desires, not that of women. As a written text it is at least 6,000 years old. It is also at least 400 years old in its present king James form and 1700 if we go back to the council's that decided what books to include and what to leave out, so it's also out of date as far as society is concerned. After all, slavery is no longer considered to be 'normal', yet people still consider it to be of value when discussing the rights of women. Times have changed.

This is such a beautiful, well formed message. As an artistic person, I have found immense fulfillment and peace being a homemaker. I was raised by a single mom who always worked and looked down upon motherhood and marriage. So I worked really hard to get into a prestigious university and felt so guilty for how much I hated it. I graduated and was absolutely lost and tired looking for a career. Then God sent me my husband and now I get to stay home with my beautiful baby. I use all of my skills and find a million ways to be creative every day. My days are purposeful, restful, and full of joy. All of my dreams come true every day when my husband comes home and wraps us up in a big hug. I am so so so happy that modern women are finding this path and glorifying Creation by tending their homes with love! Thank you, Bindi!

I always felt guilty asking my husband for pretty plates, organizing bins or decor for the home because my husband would think it’s unnecessary. but God has been doing a work in both me and my husband. He has noticed that the him and the kids are more inclined to spend time in the decorated areas of the home and are more likely to keep it clean and pretty since I’ve made it a more enjoyable space. I’m so happy to hear a young woman sharing these ideas that I only heard from my Mom-in-law, who was born in 1916..lived to 97. She was diligent in serving her family as she did in her earlier career which was also amazing. Married at the age of 35, only child at 38 who is my husband. A tiny little 4’10” power house . She had a phrase “ She minds her own business” , describing a woman with an immaculate home & yard. It shows when we mind our own business. I wish I could live up with this ideal but I have always struggled with on & off motivation. Her phrase is a good reminder for us today that instead of stressing ourselves about everything else going on in the world or worrying over other peoples problems or mistakes, we need to keep focused on what “ I need to do next”. Love your video and the beautiful positive image you portray for young women today.

If you look back on the average weight, waist measurements of women over the decades in america, that alone can prove your point. As the house chores were less and less INconvenient (i.e. having to hand wash clothes and grow your own food to washing machines and grocery stores) the wider the waist became. This also translates to the rest of the family! As women went to work outside of the home, the waists of the FAMILY started to expand! When I was in the military, their idea of caring for pregnant women was putting them on shore duty...usually sitting at a desk. I gained 50 pounds with my first pregnancy and 40 pounds with my second. The difference with my second is I knew more about eating right. But I am TTC now and we run a homestead. I told my doc that I am not concerned with gaining as much weight this time because I have a 50x150 garden, we heat with wood we collect from the woods, I cook mostly from scratch, I home can and preserve, I homeschool now.....I'm BUSY and NOT sitting at a desk. Women back into he 1800's and early 1940's were busy day in and day out. If they were sitting their hands were moving grinding coffee, wheat to flour, knitting, mending, crocheting, stocking the fire, rocking a baby.... It seems the only time they weren't doing something was when they were sleeping! Modern conveniences are killing us.

Absolutely. I find it comical that, in order to make up for the harms of these modern conveniences, many people spend a large portion of the free time provided by those conveniences "working out." Working out was once simply an unavoidable part of living-as God intended, I think-and now, we perform an artificial substitute for it.

Sorry that you had to go through this. As easy as it is to pin the blame on the ex, I believe the indoctrination is by design to rid the home of the woman. With both parties working, the government gets to collect taxes from both; the system gets to raise your children; and they get to convince you that serving your husband is “slavery”, but being a slave to your job is “empowerment”. Fatherless homes and women breaking their backs in the workforce to provide for their fatherless children has been the biggest detriment to society as a whole. I hope you find a godly man who will see your value regardless of whether you work or stay home, and you have no regrets about your personal decision to work or not work. In the end, we are to honor God in everything we do. He can use any circumstance for His glory. God bless.

I love how you’re always looking for ways to inspire Women to not just take their rightful places in their marriages but to also love it. How you always put the focus on loving, honoring and obeying God. I’m 63 now and when I was 32 my daughter was 1 years old. I was a believer and still am. I was married at the time, however, I was not even close to as knowledgeable as you are about being a homemaker and how it’s embedded into the obedience of Gods word. I loved God, my daughter and husband. I loved keeping the house clean, decorating and cooking. When things were good so was I, when things wasn’t good neither was I. I had not learned how to take my troubled marriage to the Lord in prayer. I had surrounded myself with lukewarm Christians at best so no real guidance was available. Maybe I was lukewarm too. My hearts desire was to have lots of children and be a stay at home mom. That never happened for me. I’ve had to work, and my marriage ended in divorce. I work from home now and still enjoy being a homemaker. I love organizing, and keeping things pretty. Life can be mundane and in my case sometimes lonely. Thank God I have him. I don’t know how people do it without him. Enough said. Thank you for your teachings and Love for Jesus. Keep me in your prayers. And I need you to post more often. You don’t have to have these books all the time, you got enough inside you, share that as well. Much Love…

Once I stayed home and breastfed our son, I lost 30 lbs easy. I couldn't fit any of my clothes. I was healthier, ate more veggies with every meal, and was overall happier. I think this culture has brainwashed us to be repulsed by being homemakers when it's the very thing that would literally change our lives. Now I'm pregnant with our second and this pregnancy is much healthier. I have to carry around a 30 lbs toddler up and down steps all day, roughhouse with him, clean, cook, and move around all day. The Lord knew what He was doing and he's been sanctifying me the whole time. Women should instead of making excuses just follow the Lord and allow Him to make provision for your life in your obedience. Great job with this!

Before, I had a maid who did everything in my house while I was out working. But there I was dealing with various health challenges. Now that I am at home, ( I stopped with the maid) I realize what an unhealthy lifestyle I previously had for years. I also realize how out of tou h I had become with my home that Jesus gave us. I was sitting 8 to 5 5 days a week on previous office job. Since I have became a homemaker( Christian one), my husband is happy, and I feel more fulfilled and healthy, and I am slowly getting better. Praise the Lord. To God becthe Glory. Here was crying out gor healing and my healing was wrapped ip in Homemaking.

Thank you for your video, Bindi! You words remind me of the special Christian life of Saint Therese of Lisieux and her love of serving Jesus Christ.
Here are a few of quotes from her:
"Remember that nothing is small in the eyes of God. Do all that you do with love."
"If every tiny flower wanted to be a rose, spring would lose its loveliness."
"The loveliest masterpiece of the heart of God is the love of a Mother."

I just happened upon your Channel and I really enjoy it. I have some life experience to share about this. I was predominantly a homemaker until I was 48 years old, raising children, Keeping a home, growing a garden, canning food, living in a rural environment and being outdoors a lot. Then I went into the workforce. I was also just going into menopause. I had a harder time because of the stress of work. Now it's 65 I work part-time in sales which is stressful but I get to make my own schedule and work as little or as much as I want to depending on how much money I want to make. The happiest I am is when I'm home keeping my home beautiful. Gardening is also really really wonderful. Homemaking can keep you in really great shape! I think your videos definitely onto something.

Just to add to your content- the flylady cleaning routine is a great place to start for anyone having trouble with keeping up their home. It’s completely changed how I view and value housework.
Things I used to hate doing I now do simply because I enjoy the end result- dusting, making the bed, cleaning my bedroom, and cleaning the bathroom! Still hate laundry though 😅

I would like to recommend a book. It’s called Lessons from Madame Chic. It’s about a woman who went on a student exchange trip to France. One of the lessons in the book is that working out should be embedded in our homemaking. Well the book explains how the trip impacted Jennifer’s life. It’s a true story and Jennifer has a channel on RUclips called the daily connoisseur. I would describe her as a diligent and efficient homemaker.

I recently left my construction job (desk job) for a job in a day care. I made a career change and it’s the best decision I’ve made. I’ve had to make financial sacrifices. My family opposes my decision but they are coming around. My sister made a comment last night the hit the nail about the level of stress and impact on the body. At my last job I was always stressed due to deadlines , billing and contract negotiations. I was miserable and would often com home stressed and drained. Now, I come home drained from chasing and feeding little ones all day. But I have to say that I am happier and more soft. My sister noticed the change in me and even applauded me for having the courage to make this change for myself even though our parents were against it. Children bring an inner peace and love that no job can ever provide. I do hope to meet someone soon and become a homesteader.

Well since you asked for a comment. I started Peri meno at 38! 4 years later the unpleasant anxiety you get from hormonal changes was so intense that I turned to my vicar for support- if there was something I could read from the bible to support through this challenging time. ( I was not sedentary- in fact I was pretty fit and healthy) … he told me it was God’s judgment on me as not all of us can enter heaven. So I turned to HRT and that worked a treat but my heart was broken into a million pieces. That was 10 years ago. I found your videos today and remembered how it was to be. Christian. I never returned to church.

I do not regret giving my life to my family and I think that if I had not have made the choice that I did, I would have regretted that. I think that this culture is so anti-family, anti-mother and anti-child that it is critical that we - if we can - take the option to be the ones to raise our children, to develop their values and morals. Clearly the world is doing a really bad job of that!

It’s embarrassing to admit but I’m still learning how to be traditionally feminine, and love and accept the beauty and blessing of being born a woman! I feel like a lot of young girls now a days are made to look down on home makers or women in touch with their feminine energy and think that they’re “oppressed” which is so sad! So instead of forcing myself to get that workout in at the end of the day I will go the extra mile and clean an extra mess or start a new project bc constant consistent movement is enough! If I miss my workout it’s ok bc I go on walks with the kids throughout the day usually anyways. Just need to eat relatively clean and stay hydrated and give my home and my kiddos my all. Even though at the time when I watched this video months ago, I was not a full time homemake but just thought of it as good for thought but since then life has changed and I am now a full time homemaker and can attest that I move more now that at my actual place of employment. Doing normal housework, I clock in over 13k steps per day and on not so busy days I still get anyway between 5-9k! I had a 1.5 year old and was 5 mo pregnant when I tried to work just two days a week as a massage therapist to "keep up my skills," but it was actually for the praise I get when I give a good massage. I don't get praise for being a good mother all day! So for selfish reasons (not really the money) I tried to work through the end of the pregnancy. The tiredness I felt on the days I worked, plus not getting dinner cooked or things done, or needing to schedule childcare, or not spending the quality time and really connecting with my toddler that day- made it an immediate disaster. It is okay to take deep breaths and not over schedule yourself- I realized! Having some months to enjoy my first child was OK, before the second baby. My husband was not upset that dinner wasn't made- he was upset that I was stressing myself out unnecessarily:) it was good to realize that I was really NEEDED at home all the time.

I sit at a computer for 8 hours, and somehow I am exhausted when I'm done, leaving little time and energy for me to do homemaking activities. I do what I can, though. I started a garden and we are getting chickens soon. I handwash my laundry outside as much as I can. I recently started making sourdough bread. Whereas I can do loads of laundry, run errands, bake, etc and also be exhausted but that stress and labor makes me happy, fulfilled in purpose.
I remember my mother, a stay at home wife singing all the time. Even when grocery shopping or sewing she felt happy. It made her feel useful. She was a wonderful example for me.
I'm not married, no children. I am post menopausal. Let me tell you, it is the most freeing liberating time in life. So much worry is gone.
I don't know all God has planned for me, marriage wise.
But I do know allowing myself the freedom to enjoy my likes (canning, baking, crafts etc) regardless of what society says is important makes me content.

I so desire to be a housewife, homemaker, stay at home mom. I will be getting married in December and I’m so excited to start that journey with my husband!🥰
However, I was feeling kind of bad and uncertain because I’ve been home for 1.5 years already due to debilitating chronic vestibular migraines. I haven’t been able to contribute much to the home in this time. Because when I say debilitating I really mean that. But, since the beginning of this month - with new medication and of course prayer - I’ve been starting to feel better more mobile and really bad days or times don’t last as long.
I told my fiancé that I wanted to be a housewife and he said that’s totally fine! He will make sure we have enough. We are planing to homeschool our future children so it was going to happen sooner or later but it’s looking like I won’t go back to office work when I’m totally healed. I have a call from God to speak about the Lord to people. I will just begin to work on my ministry through RUclips, podcasts and the like.
I’m working on embracing the life God has called me to and not despising the season I’m in. I have grown so much in my love for the Lord, His word and His people. I have increased in knowledge and wisdom and I’m so excited to share it with the world. I’m learning to be patient and trust the process. It’s not easy especially when my mind is excited for something but I can’t physically do it yet. But my time is coming!

Love this! I’m a data person by nature, so studies backing up what my instincts are is encouraging. I turned 30 last year and decided to make some big changes for this next decade. One of those changes was to learn the art of homemaking rather than just seeing it as housekeeping. It’s meant that I haven’t been able to have as much dedicated workout time, but I’m actually feeling peppier and more rested even though I’m up and moving most of the day now.

I just found your channel today and cannot express how much it has already helped me. I did not choose to be a homemaker. My husband is very old fashioned and made it clear from the beginning that that is what he wanted for us and our kids. For many years, I really resented that. I wanted a career I could be proud of. In the last few years, however, we found God and I have since found an appreciation for homemaking. The only thing that has changed has been my perspective, yet I somehow feel more fulfillment than my career ever gave me. The statement about being tired and drained vs tired and full is something I am familiar with! Thank you so much for sharing and I can't wait to check out your other videos.

Firstly, it is always a pleasure to watch your videos. They help in bringing about much stability to the world of biblical womanhood. Secondly, I do want to commend your efforts in always trying your best to present to us (viewers) information that challenges us to look at this whole ideation of housekeeping and biblical femininity as something positive and beneficial to all stakeholders. On that note, I really believe that God in His infinite Wisdom would have thought of this benefit for homemakers. Because He said in His Word and have proven that He can be trusted to take care of us, in every area we need. Finally, may God richly bless you and your family (even generations to come) and reward you opening for you commitment to building up the Body of Christ.

This was confirmation for me to execute my exit plan from my 9-5 by working on my online business. House work is very therapeutic for me but after being in an office most of the week I am exhausted and drained and neglecting my chores. I really appreciated this video and perspective as I “felt it” and resonated with it. Thank you 🙏🏽

I never wanted to work outside of the home. Ive got a rewarding career that pays my bills because I needed one. It has given me a life of independence and respect because as an unmarried woman, I don’t have to rely on others day to day. Therefore I am grateful that I can work and have meaningful work. However, my dream was to be a happily married housewife and mother. I was raised to keep home for a husband that I never had. Still waiting for this. I wish so much-and I know that I am not alone in this-I wish I could walk away from the stress of career and walk towards a life of marriage and keeping a warm and loving home. I don’t need studies to tell me that it’s a good life. The only thing that makes it a hard life is if there is no love, abject poverty, or no support when needed…and that’s true in every work situation.

You articulated your last point very well.
The work of homemaking is life giving, truly satisfying when you understand its value and purpose. You go to sleep tired but fulfilled and at peace.
This was a very interesting topic and it added a little more purpose to my daily grind as a home maker. 😊

I love this! Thank you for these thoughts; I will be sharing this with my daughter. ❤
One thing that really strikes me is that no matter the topic, obedience to our Creator always serves us well. All of His instruction is for our good and I’m so glad that you brought this out and made us think about this!

I am new on my journey to being a biblical woman, wife, mother and homemaker and your videos have help change my mindset, my heart in it all and I have found a new joy and excitement in my life that I’ve never experienced before. Thank you so much...this video came up on my RUclips feed on a day that I actually prayed for guidance (for so many things, but a lot revolved around my role as the homemaker and nurturer for my family).
This was the guidance I needed. Thank you, the Lord definitely had a hand in this. ❤🙏

Great value in your video Bindi. I was a sahm for 12 years and your video gives great prespective. The amount of flexibility that women need to cater to themselves and spouses, their children and their homes (non of which are machines) requires a great attitude for peace, requires a good support system to be effective and valued. ❤❤

Thank you for this video. I am also a Christian and took the role of housewife and although I wasn’t completely opposed to it I did sometimes tend to look at it as my cross to bear as a woman. Meaning overall I was happy to do it but sometimes I would get resentful because of how Mundane can become and sometimes lonely especially if you’re not surrounded by other women doing the same thing. But your video along with others that are like you has shown me that it’s OK to be fully happy doing this type of work and has made it much more enjoyable and joyful for me. You shared many delightful insights. I will be subscribing and looking forward to your future videos. Blessings and love to you and yours!🤍

I think you are onto truth here. I am always thinking deeper about things, asking questions, looking for connections so I so enjoyed this talk a lot. In addition, I am still learning to value my work as a homemaker and I know that when I do, I can attest to there being a marked difference in the way I feel physically, as well as emotionally and mentally.

God's design is always perfect. I am 67 years old, and the older I get, the more amazed I am at His wisdom. For many years I was a single mom and had to work full time while also going to school, but that is not God's design or plan for women. Unfaithful husbands and this fallen world does that to us. Thank you for a beautiful video, Bindi!

Not enjoying it as much . My husband takes me for granted. I enjoy housework but it is a lot at times,it was much easier to do a 9-5 but we always argued because the house and kids were a mess. Now I need to remember why I’m doing this and the benefits of it instead of feeling worthless . Thanks sooo much for sharing this very important information ❤
