okay I have a Kenmore sewing machine and I'm trying to attach the foot to sew but my problem is that it seems like the foot is taller than the bar and I can't get the bar off my Kenmore is not the fancy one like you have can you tell me how I can try and get this foot on because it's got a big like backing to it but it doesn't it won't go around the psat's on the sewing machine

On my sewing machine the big screw that keeps the part that latched to the foot became loose and now I cannot keep the latch part in and I’m not sure what the do it just won’t become tight enough to hold it anymore

if you're machine does not have the snap on presser foot...how do you use foots that need snap on?

What machine do you have? Most either push in to place or "snap" on. You'd have to get feet specific for your make and model.

It usually attaches with a large screw.
