Love how you sort everything down to the very last detail regardless of cost, nothing is left to chance and not a single corner is cut getting a vehicle ready for sale. In it's new state of totally sorted condition it's an absolute bargain Matt 👍
This is due to most if not all costs being paid for by views. It's unusual for a dealer to do all the work needed as it would eat into profit. Matt can massively overspend almost every time as he recoups the cost from RUclips.
I've had numerous dents removed over the years and they usually plug the holes with rubber grommets afterwards to prevent any corrosion issues. Ultimately there's no other way of getting to the dents if they can't get behind the panel so a small price to pay.
Well done, i love the fact that you prep a car like its for yourself regardless of the cost 👍 I'm the same i like to get all the boxes ticked , Good job and good luck with the sale 🙏
I love these cars too, had an ‘06 V8 S4 cab, ‘11 3.0T S5 Cab and currently an ‘18 S5 Cab, V8 was the best sound hands down but gets blown away by the V6’s performance wise. Well done for saving one.
Loved the snapshot of Prestige Wheels. A long time since I've lived in the UK, but the 'service provider' costs always sound like really good value. The only exception is 'mechanics.' Matt puts so much business their way, yet nearly always seems to end up paying top dollar.
Same here, I live in Australia now but I’m originally from that area, always makes me wince at how little it costs to do the work Matt has done on his cars compared to here. I keep an old 650i BMW in storage near Manchester Airport for my trips back, next time I think I’ll be dropping it at Prestige to get 2 of the wheels sorted if that’s all it costs!
Thats what mechanics told me about my car, its been garaged by previous owner, no rust, looks in great condition, got a major service done with premium oil and five months later apparently need a new turbo 👍🏻
I’m with you Matt, that gem of a car is worth a lot more than £7,750 that you have spent. And that doesn’t include the premium fuel that you put in! (Great minds think alike) Obviously not a cheap car to run, but it will pay back its next owner in pure driving joy. Hope you get an appreciative buyer, or will you keep it for a while?
I love how you sort everything down to the very last detail. I don't think you should worry about overspending, this car was worth it, and some cars are worth saving.

Interesting video, enjoyed watching it. I used to own the exact same model (2010 black with oyster) and agree with most of your comments. I think where we differ is how the car drives, I thought the whole driving experience is “numb” and never felt that fast. My car replaced a E92 335i, that car was far superior dynamically. Ultimately that’s why I only kept it a year and replaced it with something far more fun. The comical fuel consumption didn’t help either! Enjoy the car though, they do look stunning.
Nice video - bought the same colour combo a year ago but for £5K with a manual when prices were a little lower. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and got a few comments about it being a flash car despite a Corsa costing more. Enjoyed it over winter then got my money back in summer. They are such premium, quality cars for the money.
A fullysorted V8 S5 for that money is doing well, You could have bought a worse sample and ended up spending way more. One to keep for a while until your heart settles on another bargain to overspend on. Have a great New Year Matt
Love the content matt the only thing that spoiled it was the sub standard job the dent man did drilling a hole in a rust free car to get the dent out ,that could of been glue pulled from the outside as ive had it done before just abit more work to do it properly.

@HighPeakAutos looks ace. Colour combo up there
Great looking car , I am a fan of any 4x4 so good on UK roads with all the rain we get , I have owned front wheel cars and had issues in the rain going into a street and losing the front end and also owned a few rear wheel cars and again in the rain you lose the back end so many times so the 4x4 systems gets rid of these issues. Those seats look good and wow the engine but please correct if I am wrong but those disc hubs looked scored to hell and back I am sure you could play music with them
