Coming Out To Your Parents.* I'm a young furry as well! (don't judge my account! xD this is a old profile) I am currently 12! I'm saving up for a custom dutch angel dragon partial with my mom! Now, onto coming out as a furry to your parents. First off, pick your closest and most understanding relative. Sit them down and have a private, one-on-one conversation with them. Slowly introduce furries to them/what they are and what they do; try your hardest to be serious and really try to show your parent/guardian to see how important this is to you. If your parent/guardian sees how much this means to you, they'll start to understand for sure! Afterwards, show the relative a cute video of Telephone or a furry-- they'll think it's totally innocent! Since me and my mom are really close, I didn't have much trouble introducing this to her, she's really accepting. If its the same for your household, coming out should be a breeze! Its the same for my grandma as well--I introduced furries to her today and she was totally okay with it! She's even chipping in with the price! I'm just hoping the same for you and your parents- just don't be nervous and just go for it!
