Anthrocon 2017: Chris Meets Telephone & Discovers the Dutch Angel Dragon Meet & Greet!

- Remember our special, biggest Furry fan? Coming all the way from Rochester, NY, Chris was with us again here at Anthrocon in 2017 and in this video, Chris set out to meet none other than the great Telephone herself and discovers the beauty and cuteness of her fellow Dutch Angel Dragons during the DAD Community Meet & Greet Saturday night, July 1 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by to give Chris a hug, it sure does mean the world for him and I'm happy I was able to capture these wonderful, fluffy memories!

This is actually the main reason I got into the furry community. Once came across a video of Skrat and I really enjoyed it. I looked up more videos and found that furries will visit hospitals and do charity work and I knew I wanted to do the same thing. I loved seeing people smile and just be so happy whenever a fursuiter was around and I always wanted to be able to make people smile. That's why I can't wait to finish my fursuit
Hospitals are quite difficult to get into for hygienical and legal reasons, but there's lots of other reasons to do charity work for fursuiters, so I can only encourage you to go for it and try your very best to make this fandom a better, magical place, just like I do.
I actually had talked with my local hospital at one point about cosplaying in the children's wing and they said it would be fine with them as long as I had the costume itself approved. I'm not sure about fursuits though.

Its so interesting seeing someone who isn't exactly Well, COme into a con with this intention of not being a downer for everyone. People like Telephone are the most Joyful and are always interacting with Disable people and Kids. So nice to see The `Magic` being restored!
Being a fursuiter myself, this is indeed the most joyful thing that we can do with our hobby. It's in our paws to go out into our communities and reach out our paws to those who really need the magic we spread. Performing around kids and special needs people is my favorite aspect about fursuiting. It is certainly a very thankful audience.
My friend has dyslexia so when I get a fursuit my disabled friends are going to get the biggest cuddle.

You could consider attending for just one day if you happen to live in the area, that would be the least expensive option. The DAD meet & greet is usually held Saturday night.
I literally needed to take an 8 minute break after 4:50 becouse of the overwhelming heartwarmingness it gave me, I've never experienced such a thing in my entire life. I was almost chocking almost crying and smiling my ass off in bed, maby my man body can't handle such adorableness 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Deanna is such an awesome person, I absolutely adore how her fursuit popularity hasn't gotten to her head, she loves & adores her fans. I've seen some popufurs shun away people because they weren't the "popular" furries giving them attention. Deanna and a lot of the other amazing furries are what makes our fandom so great! I hope to see more videos like this from Chris it looks like he had an amazing time.
I give my best to do at least one Chris video for every Anthrocon. Usually don't have a lot of time on my paws being a fursuiter myself, but seeing how much Chris enjoys himself and the positive reactions my videos get, I happily devote some of my time for that. If you go 1 year back in my channel, you'll find my very first video I did of Chris - and it's just as magical as this one!

I am special needs as well and just as Chris doesn't let his disability stop him from having fun, neither does mine. This fandom has so many creative, inspiring people and so I strive to be a role model and an inspiration for others.
Im glad there are these types of videos to counter the garbage there is in life.
I'm doing my best to be a positive and inspiring member of this community, be it in front or behind the camera!

That's what at least Kijani already does, he's the founder & president of a fursuiter charity in the Seattle, WA area. I have fursuited for charity before, too.
