I am a System Admin for a small - medium metal fabrication company. I have reached out to Palantir in the hopes of a webinar/demo of their AIP software. Did get a reply that they are backlogged and will be in contact. Very excited! Not too worried about IT jobs getting phased out with the advancement of AI. Not in my lifetime anyway. Especially in the hardware world. Great stock for the long hold IMO.
I am a software engineer. Many software developers are borderline incompetent. It is only the top 15-20% that carry the rest of the 75-80% of the incompetents.
I do believe that I can train my dog to code better than at least 20% of the diversity hires. However, someone needs to get their score up for their bonus. Go figure. This is why I quit my job and trade for a living.
Actually, I quit my software job making 100k++ to trade. I make much more money now.
We first have to answer this question: Is Cathie Wood no more than a broken clock that is only correct twice per day? I think her record suggests just a few lucky guesses. I think the rest of her record is a mess. She's most likely "smoking something."
I think she usually comes to good logical conclusions about companies, she just horribly manages her portfolio and tries to time the market, chasing the next big thing all the time.
E.g she was right about Nvidia and talked about them being the next big thing with their innovation in AI before many others... but ended up selling before their massive run-up.

Nothing more scary when you see the casino lady predicting something in the stock market. She’s like a walking sell signal, to me at least. Although she might be correct in the case of Palantir.

By giving companies the ability to view and analyze data in any platform is why I buy PLTR stock. Selling covered calls let's me buy more shares while keeping my core position. Good luck longs and let's see where we are in two to three years.

3 years ago I copied some of Cathie's funds because I could not buy them from any of my brokers. Unfortunately that lost me a fortune whereas she just traded in and out of stocks with her customers' shrunken millions or billions. I could not do the same and now just hope that at least a handful of those losing growth stocks will turn into winners. 😊
Investing in Fonds, means you need to consider a time horizon of seven up to fifteen years. Three years ist nothing.

She’s right on the calls, not on the timeframe. I.e. inflation is transitory… yeah on 100yrs I guess she’ll be right. Same thing with alk the tech calls, she’s right but multiply expected time by 2 or 3.
