PayPal needs a niche.
I don't think that X will kill PayPal but this further demonstrates the point that PayPal has very little moat. X is just one more company that PayPal will have to try and defend their market share against.

Well in the world credit cards are expensive (just for have it) I pay 300€ / year for a platinum Mastercard . Most of people use debit cards (which are free) linked with these platforms as safety/warranty . Some also use pre- payed credit cards and use PayPal and similar as warranty. And PayPal give you the split payment for free

I never use X. Musk has proven he is just big mouth. He promised that Tesla would be as big as Apple and microsoft combined. Then it dropped over 60 percent lol

He got ousted just before they renamed the business he founded from X.com to Paypal, so yes Elon was one of the founders of Paypal.
