    2 days ago I told my hubby I would like a big bite cropodile because pounding was ridiculously loud and my hands are not as functional as they used to be. Today there I was at Hobby Lobby and I wasn't even thinking about looking for one as I knew they were pretty expensive and there, near the trimmer blades was a lone big bite! Priced at $60 originally but the "your price" was $38! What a blessing! And the double blessing was your tutorial this evening! Thank you so much. I feel very confident that the cropodile will not bite me...(it does look very impressive ). I will conquer my eyelets in peace now. 😁🐧💙

    Thank you Shonna, that was certainly an 'eye' opener! It was great to hear and see how to set the cropodile/big bite properly, it makes a huge difference to understanding them better and also how to use eyelets in many different formats, just fabulous! Thank you for sharing your tips and ideas, I shall certainly try these out in the future. Blessings and smiles 💜🙏🏻

    Hi !! Is there a way u can punch the deeper holes (with the crocodile) into the depth of your spine, to set your eyelets, before it is adhered to the covers (back & front) ?? Did I explain that enough to understand ?? 😢 😂 Sorry for ALL the questions. I have not Journaled for too long. Thanks so much. 🤞I hope u can understand my question. 🤞

    • @FrappsScraps
      @FrappsScraps  4 месяца назад +1

      @@Darlene717 hmm I have seen spines that have the signatures attached to a false spine and then adhered into the journal itself- is that what you are looking for?

    • @Darlene717
      @Darlene717 4 месяца назад

      @@FrappsScraps Thanks soooo much for answering my query. Yes, that’s sort of what I am looking for. I have the Chinch & wires bought already, so I am trying to figure out how I can use that too.
      Plus, I am also trying to think of a way - in not buying the most expensive #3 Cropodile - when I have the #2 one already. Is there a way of punching the holes (in the spine) - before the front & back cover are adhered to the spine. My head just can’t get around that. Too much THINKING for me. I thank u so much for thinking about this too, but do not get a headache like I have - like when I think about this. Everything will have to be measured and be precise while it’s first coming along. Do u get my jest ?? Thanks again

    Trying to decide if I should buy a Big Bite. I do have the old hand method tools for setting eyelets. So many uses.

    • @FrappsScraps
      @FrappsScraps  Год назад

      If you have the hand tools you could easily purchase the cropadile and then do any eyelets you need a further reach on with hand tools.. it is a tough decision.. over time I wound up with both and don’t regret either purchase

    First time coming to your channel! This was such a helpful video! I do love my crop a dile, as I use it mostly for hole punching! As far as eyelets go, I seem to get perfect ones on my practice pieces, but when I put them on my journals or ephemera, the backs are often ruined or too bumpy! This video was the best I’ve seen on eyelet instructions and tips! Thanks so much! 😃

    • @FrappsScraps
      @FrappsScraps  Год назад +1

      Hmm I think you might have to go back to the hand tool with a hammer to set that style. I have also gotten some that are designed for shoe eyelets and they are so tough to set because they are made to be set with a machine rather than any hand tool..

      Hi Connie- the eyelets that come with the added circle it is used like a washer on the back of the eyelets. Grommets are used differently and don’t really need to be set like an eyelet. These are great ideas for a follow up video. I hope my response makes sense
