Hey to everyone!!
We are two young adults, Despina 24 and Deivids 25 renovating an old farm house from 1817 in Latvia.
Everything in and out of our house has been done by ourselves with no hired help.
DIY is going to apply to nearly everything in our house. Our budget is tight and that has made us appreciate every “ugly” part of this house and turn it into something new and beautiful.
We give new life to things that others would throw away!
In this journey we are not alone! We are starting up our little Farmily:
7 Goats & 2 Bucks
3 Sheep
4 chickens & 3 Chicks
1 Rooster
and 3 Geese
Oh yeah and our cat Ivi & Dog Keita
Despite our daily problems we are two young people full of joy and happiness, ready to start a new crazy chapter in our life. It wouldn’t be fair to keep this fun just for us!
That’s why we want YOU to also be part of our Farmily!!
We love our very supportive community!!
Thank you so much for the support you are giving us. Every view, like, share, subscribe and financial support means a lot to us. Any support is extremely appreciated!

Now trim up the other Lindenwood branches so you can go under them too. These kids work so hard Please LIKE and comment . Helps them !!
Ivi and Keita touching noses is so sweet! You both are so smart and get so much done! Love you!
Chains a definite must. Keeping ahead of the next snow fall makes things easier. Be sure to plow wider than the area , this will make it easier for piling the snow . It took us a few years after to get a plow auger snow thrower put on our lawn mower & love it. 🌬💨
Great job David thank you for sharing and your time was really great never miss a video and can't wait for next video 😀
Awww love your Doggy, living her best life ❤ good job on the snow plow
Awww The nose touches shows how they have become family -- Keita has the best life ever now -- makes me so happy to see the animals joyful and content
The dog looks soooo happy. I think 2023 will be a good year for him. He has found parents who care for him and love him. What else could anyone want.
David is right, the over crowded trees are more susceptible to disease. The tree would probable fall at a later time from disease and it would look much worse.
There's never a dull moment with Deivid and Dessy. They're always finding something to do around their home and always keeping busy. But my favorite part of the video is where Ivy and the doggie kissing each other for a few seconds.
Despina, cutting down trees makes me sad too. Even when I know it’s necessary.
Aww your cat and dog are such a good friends ! 🐈🐾🐕❣️
I'm glad you're done this job successfully without any complications! Great!💗
Fun video! Greetings from Finland.
I enjoy seeing David’s face light up in excitement with every new “ toy “ … the snow scooping looked like a lot of fun !! The chainsaw is heavy - but just think of those arm muscles you’ll be developing 😮 ✅😎.
That German Shepard Loves Deivids
David is right. By cutting those two trees the others will fill out and grow faster and fuller. By end of next summer you won't be able to tell there were two trees there. I'd trim up the three you left so you can walk under and around them. Good job!
I just shared with my daughters and friends, I hope they watch and start following your adventures. Love from Queensland.
David is there anything you can’t do? Do always jump right in with your creative mind and willpower skill set! Amazing!
It is sad to have to cut down a tree but it does give you much more room. And yes, that saw made fast work of it!!
Cutting down a tree is always sad, no matter the reason.
It was great to see that little dog so full of life and enjoying a romp in the snow. I also liked the snow scenes, perhaps most of all because I was safe and warm at home and not stuck in that snow collection. As for the mower, at the least you appear to need some lovely grippy chains and perhaps something stronger, though I have no idea what. Still, at least it helped you make a good start in the clearing, and having some winter 'sports' in the white stuff. Not only that some more winter fuel has been produced, though, I think it needs to be seasoned before you can burn it well.
I don't like cutting down trees either!
But it is necessary to be a good Stuart of them. You must make sure they grow up to be healthy and strong. If you see any samplings in the future dig them up and find a new home on the land for them that way you don't have to cut them down when they are larger.
What you did to the trees were necessary as it will definitely improve the health of the other trees. You did a fantastic job on cutting them.
Wish my cat and dog were such good friends as yours!
if you use chains over back wiles will be much better. more grip , less spin ...
Yes indeed, better put on snow chains on the wheels will be better if Deivid have to ploug through more snow. But he managed it very well. 👋🙂👍🇳🇱
The Kitty and puppy nose to nose was adorable ❤
Cutting down trees is hard work David, good job!!
I agree the more comments they get the more they come up on the algorithm I think that is what it is.
If the stumps sprout, and they may, that's called coppicing which generally produces long, straight poles, a very valuable and regular harvest. Lots of uses for them. Since they generally grow straight up and quite quickly in their search for light, they don't get in the way much either. That could be a great place for them.
Winter sure came early! Here in Wisconsin USA too. Love your videos. 🥰❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Chainsaw looks a lot like my husqvarna 435 . Get a round file and keep the chain sharp. You probably have to use bar chain oil while it is under warranty, but after that I would use old motor oil instead. Never had an issue with it, going on over 20 years.
You could always stump burn 🔥🔥 if you need to get rid of the stumps there are numerous RUclips videos . . Has a winter campfire toast marshmallows etc hot chocolate .
That is good forestry David to allow the other trees to grow properly
So happy to see the dog so well adjusted with you & other animals. I just want to hug her. You both are good people & I enjoy all your videos. Keep them coming. Thanks
Your pets are adorable. Please get some chains for the lawn mover so it will grip in the snow!
I've been wondering. You both speak English so well! Where did you learn?
That little plow worked OK.
New toy , that will get a good workout at your uncles.
Enjoy the snow.
Beautiful video
Poor little mower, it needs snow tires and chains . Lol you look like your having fun. 😊
Your video today, has shown on much doggie boy, has adjusted to his new life and family. Watching him play with David, shows his love for David. It's a wonderful thing you two have for this little guy. Even Evie loves him. Enjoy watching the love you spread around your beautiful farm.
You should use that plywood for the upstairs instead of building other stuff you know that way you can start insulating the upstairs which is already done but later plywood on the top so that way star is warm upstairs
Always sad to see healthy trees removed. There is always the option to wait and see. Because one of those other trees could get sick and then need to be removed, then you have lost both. Always be sure to clean the saw blades with alcohol to not spread unknown diseases.
David you are amazing you can invent anything your a mister fix it. I love you both and all your incredible animals also known as all your precious babies!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It is so beautiful there. Your property looks gorgeous in the snow ❄️❄️❄️
I so love your ingenuity!!
I enjoy the video.👍
Looks like you were having fun on the lawnmower pushing snow around.
Thanks to you kids your little pup is having her very best life 💕 bless you in all you do.
Zu fällen einen stolzen Baum
braucht’s eine halbe Stunde kaum.
Zu wachsen, dass man ihn bewundert
braucht er, bedenk es,
ein Jahrhundert.
So wahr ......das war nicht einfach für Despina...
Oh my God how precious opening your video with puppy and kitty kissing. What a beautiful moment ❤❤
Deivids, when are you gonna build a log splitter to process those logs into firewood? Should be pretty easy for you with your mechanical skills....weld an axe head and provide either electric or motorized pushing power. You can do it and saves lots of hard woodchopping.
Maybe but we will process our wood at my Aunts place which has all the machines needed. This ones I will just use an axe! 😀
How about this project: ruclips.net/video/l3ZZjhsM8g0/видео.html
I didn’t get yesterday’s video, must go looking for it.
Need to put some snow chains on the drive wheels of the tractor for better traction
Someone is having way too much in the snow:)😂😂😂
David please get some ppe personal protective equipment, helmet viser , safety boots, trousers when using chain saw. Xxx
Need chain saw chaps. It's the only reason my husband still has both legs🤦♀️
Good job
I love the opening sequence when my favourite 2 animals were on the screen: Evie & the little doggie sniffing each other ❤
Me too! 🐈❣️🐕
And I'm so happy they adopted that older dog (Keita?) and gave her a best life ever. I believe mom Birggit said once in comm section, Ivie is 10 years old and look at her, how active she is!
Ivi is 15 years and Kaita 10 years old / young ❤️🍀😘
Thanks for your comment ✨️🌟
@@birgitc.rudolph9123 Aw thank you Birgit, I can't believe Ivi is 15 years! That's what love, care and positive energy brings to all of us! 💗💕❣️
Good Job! Hope it works well when you get a lot of snow.
Lol if you never used saw alot your arms are going be sore.
You always come up with a solution
Snow looks so beautiful 💗🌬❄
Chains a definite must!!!
Where is the black and white cat haven’t seen him in awhile
He is still here with us!😊
Sniega tīrītājs ir super labs!
Your dog loves u to bits. 💘
How about some Chains on those Back Tires, no spinning
Definitely have to look how much they would cost if it's worth buying or if I should make it myself.
Linden trees sprout like crazy. Did you know Linden kan be used for tea? :) So much fun seeing yougrinning like a child. Finally mecanics that do what you want. Awesome!
Chains recommended
Beautifully woor
That really tall tree looks to be leaning. hope not. yikes.
Listen, you guys makes me want to get outside and do work. I'm pass that kind of labor, but I sure enjoy watching you youngsters! 👍👍👌
Burning green wood
Linden trees smell so nice in spring. I have one right in front of my window and the street where I live is full of them. Do you know that you can eat the leaves 🍃 in salad? I've seen that in a video and I have to try it next year. Until now I've only used the blossoms as tea against fever or against a cold. After you've cut down one or two of them the others will grow even nicer and send out 'shoots'.
Hello Do&BE 🙋🙋🙋
Maybe salt the stumps to prevent regrowth.
Maybe we can put it back..🤣🤣. Just remember, your saw isn't a light Saber, go easy with it, I was noticing the sparks...👍👍💙🥶🪵🪵🪵🪵🪵
I am sad too, Despina. It's not very nice to see such beautiful, living trees being cut down. But you know, it is maybe for the best.
50k by Christmas!
It would be wonderful! 🙏👍
Hopefully 🙏🙏🙏🧿🥂🍾❤️❤️❤️
@@birgitc.rudolph9123 Don't worry Mom 😊, we'll get them there!!! 🙏💪😅
Snow chains on the tires
You should use the ash from your stoves to spread over the bits you've cleared, mixed with a bit of sand. I'm sure you could come up with something that would fit on the back.
Love you two!
I worry that you are not I using any safety equipment with the chain saw,: goggles or face mask, safety chaps.
I agree Dessy! Watching trees being cut down is scary. But David is in control, so we can be sure all will be fine. These trees will help with your heating in the future.
First comment
I'm with you dont cut trees down earth needs healthy trees (: bet yall put all kinds of trees to make up for ones cut.
I can see why those trees had to come out. Opened up the yard for sure. Never herd of a Linden tree though. Nice wood.
My father called me a butcher when I cut one branch off a tree in he’s back yard.
ya need tir e chains on the back tires and some weight in the back thats why your spinning tires need better traction
Super nice the frame comes with holes stock
I liked the cat and doggy touching noses. Kinda like a kiss. Looks like they like each other. Good thing. 🥰👍
And another thing, the snow is beautiful. I could do the snow here in Florida if the temperature is about 70F. But that won’t happen but I can still dream. 😂
I’m commenting to help the algorithm
buy some 1 inch chain link easy to make
I wonder if they're planted that closely together for a Windbreak.
No more for privacy, windbreak trees are on the other side the ones we showed first. After these trees are many other trees and this tree grows tall and doesn't provide windbreak at the bottom. Now the trees can grow better and stronger.
nice🌼👌
Nice
REALLY????, you mean snow piles up as it falls to the ground? who knew SMH
chains might help?
