I watched your video with pleasure. I just made a shovel for the same garden tractor for removing snow, and put tires with homemade spikes on the wheels. Well ... we have more snow. Greetings from Latvia!
This guy knew exactly what he was doing!! As for all you people on here making bad replies against him what do y'all use to shovel your driveway off with scraps of plywood? Or do y'all even have a driveway?... Not to mention one hell of a welder!!...
55 Gallon Oil Drum works perfect for making ATV / lawn mower snowplow a lot cheaper than buying all the metal you did and it'll last just as long and look just as good
Looks great, and should hold up for the amount of snow you are pushing. Only thing id change is to place a strip of 50x2 steel along the bolt holes for the rubber. As you have it now you may find the rubber rips out the holes
Hey man. Nice plow. Next time, take off the deck. And to get more grip , make a weight bracket and make rubber straps so it doesn’t scratch ur driveway. Nice plow !
You can fill the rear tires with coolant to add more weight. This will help with mowing and plowing. Granted those rear tires are small but it would still add additional weight.
Nice one I going to build one but not for snow is for soil and grass after we cut it, and have to be stronger. Thanks for the tips I really like it cool 😎 👍 👌. Kind regards buddy from London UK 🇬🇧
You are one heck of a fabricator my friend!!.. I wouldn't have paid $500 for my snow plow that goes on the front of my riding mower if I had your talent lol.. great video..
Great video You are a rock star. To show us how you put the plow together The time and supplies are only a fraction of what's needed. I hope you can make money Thank you
I know guys who made plows for quads and trikes, they use plastic barrels, steel scraper bar on the bottoms, ribs on the back of the barrel plow to hold shape. Steel oil drums, the best were old hot water heater tanks, strong, thicker than sheet metal.
@@shabadoo24 Thank you Water heater sounds great. I was looking to make a small plow for my snowblower. I looked at a plastic barrel. Still in the planning stages. 😛😛😛😛😛
Made one in 3mm 355 sheet metal with 6mm hardox at the bottom. Put plates instead of wheels, they hold better. Also made spring loaded so if you drive in against something, the blade can fold instead of destroying the tractor
Nice job , BUT, the transaxle ( the core of the build) in most modern lawn tractors aren't build to handle anything more than mowing lawns and won't stand up over time... a REAL garden tractor maybe.
very respectable build cudos on the plow , this would be good for a larger garden tractor or a quad but i dont have alot of faith in the aluminum trans and yellow metal gears that it houses to push snow for any length of time , those are extremely light duty machines meant for one thing , grass , nice craftsmanship though
Oh boy... when I watch you work on stuff, David, out of blue there's "notification" just pop up that look just like iMessage... I thought someone send me a text since I'm on my Apple Mac and my iPhone! I notice that it was just notification that you added on your videos! I think it's funny and cool feature! You did excellent job work on everything!!
Great idea your videos I love we show lots of support I love lawn tractors to just like you amazing video i will definitely be subscribing to your channel 😄
Sei molto bravo , complimenti , sai fare di tutto , sai saldare hai una oggi da paura , troncatrici e tanto altro , bravissimo , a risentirci con i tuoi video ,ti saluto e buona giornata !!!
Pushing snow with a lawn tractor is hard on the differential unless you have a very heavy duty mower. Manufacturers will also sell plows for them since they also like to sell replacement diffs.
Bravo majstore,to treba da napravis Fudbalskim klubovima da ciste terene a ne da lopataju kao pre 50 god, kosilice imaju jos samo da im prodas patent...
pretty cool set up. why isn't anyone pointing out how winter kitted this riding mower is? this is a $350 dollar winter kit all day. 50 for the wheel chains, 250 for the blade and 50 for the tractor plow attachment. what i disagree with, is you left the mower deck on. weighted rear wheels for traction is best.

I use a snowblower in Canada so need to remove the Mower Deck to use the belt drive, makes them much more maneuverable.

Looks and functions great! Came here for ideas on techniques to build my own and stayed for the entire video. Keep it up!
Great job. Looks really professional. Spray the plow with some non stick cooking spray before using, will help the snow slide off easily.

You need to fill your rear tires with wiper fluid for better traction. Nicely built.
😳
Use beet juice. It’s heavier and doesn’t freez until -25C. Ok but why bother. You took to long. All the snows gone. Haha. Just saying.
The most amazing part of this video was the bright white hoodie while working in the shop and it staying clean….you sir are far more talented than me!

Good project 👍
Great job well built, doing the best you can with what you’ve got. That’s what it is all about.
Man you did so good on this. I wish I could weld half as good as you. 😊
Thank you friend for sharing the homemade snow blower of your investment to be used with the lawn mower.👍Amazing !
You did a nice work sir well done nice welding on that project very well done you now your work sir 👍👍👍👍👍
That fact you did an excellent exhaust system with the mower deck and thus plow is very nice!!
Excellent design and build .Please, add some hearing protection along with your other safety equipment. Keep up the good work!
Sve pohvale majstore🏅👍👍👍🍻

Awesome job Doc. Now you need a snow blower attachment...lol. That would be a great video as well.
Very nice job. I would suggest taking deck off when your using it to plow. You won't get stuck or hung up as bad.
It's possible he needs the weight of the deck for traction.
Sehr professionell gemacht 👏👏👏👍👍👍.
Man I can watch you’re videos all day long
Gosh - What a fantastic project - I think you're very talented and hard working.
Best small plow and mount design I have ever seen.

Good skills, great to see a young fella your age doing something productive , rather than video games and smoking dope.
I’m very impressed that it only took a little over 23 minutes
Great video you are very talented I also noticed the grape vines along your drive way ! 👍

This just made me realize how easy it is........To run out and purchase one..😂😂
Well done man, good job. 🚜 👍
Awesome work! I wish we were neighbours!
Great job buddy. Wish the angle could be changed from the handle you made for lifting the plow up and down.
4 wheels 4x4 need with snow plow is best Awesome good job
50 gallon drum barrel. Thickest you can find in gage. Would be stronger. But over all great job man. What I use for mine. Works great

The best fabrication video ever! These little tractors can do amazing things. Especially if you're fat like me (weight moves). Thanks

That was awesome fabulous job buddy
Great editing!
If you had more an angle from the ground to the plough I feel it would scrap the ground better. But brilliant work an idea
If you do get a good amount of snow, drop that mower deck, and throw on some rear weights, or wheel weights.
Plowing snow with the deck on usually isn't the best strategy.

you need to do the second thing on the other side of the nozzle to change the angle of the blade

Dobar poso ko i uvek😀
Great fabrication guy
With all the Electricity and Man power used, One could have used a Large Hair Dryer on the driveway and cleared it off.
Привет. Отличная работа. 👍
Good build. Quality video.
That jet heater in the back is pretty cool. Wonder where it’s from
Tout simplement génial bravo
Great job, its a really good idea 👍
This is a great plow. I would suggest putting it on an older mower with a heavy duty transmission. That MTD tranny will die.
Cool stuff, thanks for the video. Do you never use hearing protection? My ears hurt just thinking of not using protection around grinders and similar.
Brilliant job
Do the small wheels help or would it be the same without them?
Quite impressive!!!!
Superbe très bon bricoleur 👍😉
Nice skills. And a great shop.
I think it's funny the guy is shoveling a 16th inch of snow. I'm Expecting up to 20 inches of snow in the next 24 hours.
Super video samo bi bilo bolje da umjesto muzike u pozadini ti pricas i objasnjavas kako sve radis itd
