I just made a shovel for the same garden tractor for removing snow, and put tires with homemade spikes on the wheels. Well ... we have more snow.

Looks great, and should hold up for the amount of snow you are pushing. Only thing id change is to place a strip of 50x2 steel along the bolt holes for the rubber. As you have it now you may find the rubber rips out the holes

You can fill the rear tires with coolant to add more weight. This will help with mowing and plowing. Granted those rear tires are small but it would still add additional weight.

I know guys who made plows for quads and trikes, they use plastic barrels, steel scraper bar on the bottoms, ribs on the back of the barrel plow to hold shape. Steel oil drums, the best were old hot water heater tanks, strong, thicker than sheet metal.

very respectable build cudos on the plow , this would be good for a larger garden tractor or a quad but i dont have alot of faith in the aluminum trans and yellow metal gears that it houses to push snow for any length of time , those are extremely light duty machines meant for one thing , grass , nice craftsmanship though

pretty cool set up. why isn't anyone pointing out how winter kitted this riding mower is? this is a $350 dollar winter kit all day. 50 for the wheel chains, 250 for the blade and 50 for the tractor plow attachment. what i disagree with, is you left the mower deck on. weighted rear wheels for traction is best.
