@Dusty Porter I have important question: I have changed my name from Zbigniew Starodup to Zbigniew Star 3 days ago, since that day, when I start Live Video, it's not anymore on my subscribers main page also its not possible to seatch it in youtube search engine. Before it was possible by Live name and tags. Video is Public and I do all the same. Is it possible its becasue of name change and I have to wait? Why this happens? Ive shearched web for hours... also texted RUclips but they never respond. Waiting for your answer. Your Subscriber.

The “1000 sub requirement” is to stream from mobile, that’s it.

To compare RUclips and twitch, without having tried RUclips, it does seem that streaming to twitch is a lot easier and has less steps. Thoughts on it?

@@alfiee.8 easy or not. i would have to create a new account fof that, and i dont want liek 1000 diffrent accounts. so google and YT is the way to go. its everything just 1 Click away. for me its easyer then go to twitch. here to create an account it litterly 1 button to synchronise to google.

I want to do live streaming on my iphone to youtube channel. I've had my channel for 13 or so years. I still have videos stuck in Legacy mode. (can't access) (different topic) but I got away from it (the channel) . Now I'm getting it going again. I want to do live streaming. My research is saying I need to have 1000 subscribers, but I did go live about a month ago (RUclips things may have changed) and also I had my channel verified and youtube said I would be able to go live in 24 hours. Well it's been 24 hours and I still can't go live on my iphone. HELP!

Quick question: I used my webcam to live stream (no encoder). But when I ended my live stream, the video still says that it's live and the timer keeps on counting. Hi Dusty, I am getting ready to do my first ever Live Stream to run a remote presentation on Internet Safety for the parents at my local school. We have just started using MicroSoft Teams but for compatibility and ease of access I am planning on streaming the presentation over RUclips. The presentation is me talking over a PowerPoint Presentation. Following your advice I am going to try out Streamlabs OBS. Couple of questions - Can I show the PowerPoint in Streamlabs OBS? I have a Windows 10 Laptop and a Macbook Pro running HighSierra, I was planning on using my Macbook to do the presentation?
OK so I have been following your tutorial and the Stream Labs OBS. It seems things are different and I was unable to start and view a stream. As soon as you click Go Live in SLOBS it starts the stream in RUclips? When I tried to view the URL on a different device it wouldn't let me. Said something about waiting "Waiting for Mix".

The fact that you have to do all this just to stream, shows how RUclips itself is not on the same page as the streamers want to be....We didn't have to go through all of this before, it use to be just click on stream and thats it.
