I will tell you how much trans people feel terrified of what's going on in this country. I have a 33 year old trans daughter. She had a hard time at school. She always got made fun of, she never felt like she was part of the crowd, always felt left out of everything but also not wanting to be in the middle because she knew she was different. And at 33 she still feels that way. And right now she feels that way on steroids. We live close to the club that got shot up in Colorado. It is so hard for her to feel like she can even go out of the front door without someone hating on her. And as a parent I would totally throw my body in front of her to protect her. I'm 60 and severely disabled. It's hard for me to even feel like there are protections out there for her anymore. We can't lose the 2024 election. For so many reasons but for trans people and drag queens and anyone that felt like they could feel comfortable out in normal society, they now feel like they want a thousand layers in between them and the outside world. 😓💔

Hi I think my mom knew she was going to raise gay kids Because she took us record shopping with her and she brought us dancing queen Abba Bay City Rollers We went on walks in the west village She let us watch the Ballet and remember pointing out the mens big baskets and She had to stop me pointing at people and say he’s gay oh and that’s a man she just laughed I think because I was so a where of my surroundings Thank god for PBS John Rivers and George Carlin on Johnny Carson waiting for my dad to come home Yea I was smarter then the kids my age in that way Oh let’s talk fashion she taught us how to shop and when you leave the house your not running from a fire A night owl so I could bartend at bartend for over 14 hour shifts She made me a great husband And so much more Thanks for letting me write it helps my brain so the doctors say ⭐️😍👑🙌❤️
