One of my favourite italian opera singers of all time (RIP), especially when he joined in as part of the 3 tenors with Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras. You must listen to Nessun Dorma by Pavarotti, it brings tears to the eyes. 🇬🇧
this was from the Three Tenors concert many years ago.. Zubin Mehta was the conductor and he sang with Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras. all great voices. but IMHO, Luciano is definitely the GOAT.
Yes Pavarotti is Italian from Modena Italy. And yes he and most if not all opera singers are above the Sinatras and the like. Simply because opera singers spend years training there voices and indeed they’re entire mind body and soul before they even begin to sing professionally. Check out some of the opera master classes on RUclips. You will begin to see what these people do to produce that incredible sound. It will make you respect even more what they do. They also become fluent several languages. If that’s not enough many of them take drama lessons. If one is learning Italian, German or French operas they will go to those countries and live for a few years to truly learn the nuances of the language and culture. What’s truly amazing how they can go from singing to shake the rafters down to a soft whisper to convey different moods and emotions.
Watch Ron Howard's documentary "Pavarotti" and you will see what a remarkable life this man led. He did a concert in Central Park and drew 500,000 people. People didnt know what he was singing but they didnt care. ❤❤
Always good to try something different - Pavarotti excels here. One of my favorite pieces is by Anna Netrebko (in a red dress), Placido Domingo and Roland Villazon singing Dein ist mein ganzes Herz by Franz Lehar. Don't be put off by the German language, the music is super. Wonderful singing by this trio but very funny as they interact together and have a bit of cheeky fun.
Keep in mind the exaggerated expression not only is part of vocal control but these are actors. Opera tells a story like a musical play. Many operas are In foreign languages so the actors must show the words, the emotion etc by expressive gestures and facial expressions. Opera singers must be powerful and passionate!
Who ist THE voice? Pavarotti's voice seems to be out of this world. For me and many people he is the no. 1 but I respect if someone is more touched of an other voice. No voice fits to every genre or song. Sinatra will always be the best singing My way. By the way Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly are sitting im the audience. Watch them listening proud to their songs on the 3 tenors Medley: ruclips.net/video/tezDcWcqOog/видео.html
A voice for the ages, the absolute best...ever!!
Pavarotti was probably the greatest tenor of all time. He was italian but this song is in latin

I'm always amazed at how he keeps his voice in "the mask." I truly believe that this is what made him great.
FANTASTICO!!!
You should react to him performing "La Donna È Mobile." It's a classic. R.I.P. Pavarotti🕊❤️
He left us 15 years ago today. The world is not the same.
Pavarotti was Italian and was considered the best opera singer on Earth in his time... He passed away in 2006 at the age of 71

La potenza della voce, ma la capacità del controllo e della modulazione sono difficili da raggiungere. grande Luciano un omaggio lassu

With a name like Duffy, I have no doubt you are Irish Catholic and can truly appreciate this!!!
Check out James Brown and Pavarotti. "It's A Man's World" 🌎 Duet
Yes, he was Italian.
Can you react to "caruso" also performed by Pavarotti, I think is the best.
Also "Miserere mei, deus" I think you will die listening to that one xD
Hello, my friend. I subscribe now to your channel. A warm from Italy.

Pavarotti was asked if he could have any voice other than his own he said elvis as Elvis could do what he can but he couldn't do what elvis done.
