I think a similar line of reasoning applies to Conor. Either he's one of the pound for pound bests, or he's an insane lunatic. Either he's the uncrowned champ of multiple divisions, or he's a delusional clown. I have to say, after listening to him in this, I definitely feel he has the mental aptitude to be a champ. He has a champ's mentality, he has a very high fight intelligence, and he has top tier athleticism. He breaks down his opponents objectively, and beats them psychologically before entering the octagon. He's already in Aldo's head. Aldo was emotional after the face off in Rio.
He is just enjoying the attention and the moment. He loves talking bullshit and hyping himself and his fights.
Arjan Meijer He has fun talking, but he also speaks rationally and objectively when it comes to analyzing his opponents; and none of his critics seem to actually refute his fight analysis or athletic potential, they generally point to the superficial flare. Fact is, he is bigger than Jose, he's not afraid of him, he's already in Jose's head and he believes he can execute an effective game plan. These are not negligible factors, and were present in his other recent victories.
You are absolutely right, and he is enjoying every minute of it.

Do I approve of mcgregors behavior.....yes. He keeps me searching for media coverage, free youtube fights, trailers, etc. And I will purchase this ppv because of the hype. Mma fighters do deserve to be paid far more than they are granted now, but we need more guys like conor who snatches up our attention whether positive or negative.

Watching these episode tours, interviews etc. Aldo playing games, being chill, he is talented and champion no doubt about it, but I feel he meet his nemesis, his time is over, watching how Connor McGregor approached this so far he already won...
This is Jon Jones vs shogun rua or Chris weidman vs anderson silva to me.. Fighter with confidence, perfect mindset squashing bored champion, Aldo saying what he's gonna do and etc I watched him very close and looked in his eyes, It's like seeing someone talk without even thinking or meaning anything, might be just me, but we ll see when they fight.
I’ve seen this and his all his other ones a few times, hands down one of the funniest and one of the most inspiring as well.

The thing some of you Conor nut huggers aren't getting is, he's NEVER had the type of fire power come back at him like what Aldo brings. He's never even tasted 1/5th of the type of elite skills that Aldo brings.
Aldo's faced the elite of the elite every single time out. Conor is in over his head on this one. He won't know how to react to Aldo's speed and skills, because he's never been in with a fighter that brings half of what Aldo's about yo bring to him.

All Jose has is the fact that he's gone five rounds and his moxie...other than that I have Conor within 2....maybe 3.

Confidence is a fucked up thing. Is Connor overconfident due to not being tested by someone who's even close to Aldos caliber or is he the usurper of the feather weight crown? Is he delusional and has convinced himself that he's the best in his own mma fantasy land, or is he a Irish Bruce Lee that is so mentally tough that he can visualize it, and make it come true? I want to believe, because if someone is this confident, is so sure....and then loses....how do you come back from that?
