      I hate trash talkers yet I find him compelling as hell. As long as he doesn't back pedal and offer excuses should he ever lose... Or just never lose, I guess.

    • @ErikChainsawCharles
      @ErikChainsawCharles 10 лет назад +8

      Judd Karlman I don't think it's trash talk. It's belief. Now, if he doesn't back it up...it's trash. lol

    • @JuddKarlman
      @JuddKarlman 10 лет назад +1

      He gets personal and tries to get in the other guy's head. Win or lose, it is all trash talk to me but he has other things to say too. I dunno. I'm trying to figure out why he doesn't bother me like Sonnen and every other talker.
      I enjoy his hunger and how much he's enjoying every piece of the game.

He hasn't been hurt once in one of his UFC fights and makes his opponents look like rookies.And i'm writing this after he finished Dustin in 1.41sec in the first.But if you Conor haters want to keep hating,then you don't respect mma...Simple as that

      +SuperMaoman EEhhh, he did get a bloody head wen he fought Chad and almost lost. Im a McGregor fan and i love his way of life and personality. But he did get a bump or two on the Chad fight. Granted it was a bloody cut, other than that fight, he hasn't been injured at all.

      @joelmartinez2896 9 лет назад +1

      +Compl33tR4nd0mZ i think as a champion he wont lose focus and taken apart IN THE FIGHT but i do think he's gonna bring more anger than skill against Conor. Look at the Rousey and Holms fight...Rousey got so pissed off that she was rushing Holms the whole fight and look where it led her. But i do agree with Aldo losing this fight.

    Conor McGregor , is truly someone I listen too, & I get out of it positiveness to strive for good things, and work hard, think what's in my mind to see it already happened. McGregor's truly the best positive motivational therapy to listen to. I appreciate he came into the medias eye, it benefits me to want more for myself to be better person. I am grateful I see him come from nothing, & He made it by working hard. This is the kind of guy I surround myself with, a tight circle is the only way. Loyalty is a BIG DEAL to me, And he is the same way. I have the same mentality I just have not found my thing yet..... But I WILL, Because I am working hard to better myself. I am still in poverty, and I am trying to get better opportunity. I think Conor is the best thing to enter MMA/UFC, and I would work for the company if I had a chance to... LOYALTY IS EVERYTHING.... You GO McGregor... Much respect, I wish Great things for you Future & You deserve-it all..... Its People like you I stay focused & it makes me work hard.... GOD Bless from my Higher Power.. Peace!!!

    Its inevitable that this dude will become champion sometime in the near future. The only question is how much damage will he take along the way, he has taken very little damage so far, to be so highly ranked, compared to some of his competitors. Swanson, Edgar, Poirier, Mendes, Stephens, Bermudez, Siver, Aldo.. I could go on, these guys have been in wars and faced adversity inside the octagon. Hopefully he can find a way to solidify his status without taking too much damage. We need more fighters like Conor that can actually speak about martial arts and make it appealing to the fans, and actually back it up in the cage with skills.

    I don't actually like or dislike either McGregor or Poirier, but for the sake of the sport and the UFC, we the fans need someone like McGregor. He has the gift of gab, as well as the polarizing figure that Chael Sonnen, Jon Jones, and Ronda Rousey were or are. The lower weight classes need someone like this who can bring some hype to their fights. If he loses this fight... I think it will be a real loss to the UFC.

    featherweight i think is the toughest division its usually bigger guys tryin to cut down to 145 -46 where as the divisions below featherweight are usually smaller guys.

    As much as i love Conors style as a fighter & want to see him do well , i think he does not have a hope in hell when he ends up fighting Cub Swanson or Frankie Edgar. Maybe in 2 years when they get older & more injuries take their toll, but not any time soon. Hopefully in that time he can clean out the lower top 10 & cement his spot as a true contender that didnt just talk his way into fights.

    Lefty, good power in both hands and really fast. However his head movement is not very good but no one has forced him to go on serious defense yet. And his chin is untested.

    I think his biggest weakness is his bravado. He leaves himself open when he taunts his opponents and this could get him knocked out. Every man has a chin.

      He's not stupid, he's sharp as fuck. He knows the score. His bravado is well placed and he uses it in ways that are effective for his own confidence, getting in other fighters heads, and for promotion and business.

    He owns it...no one can take that away from him. If he were ever to lose and I hope he does not...He will own up to it...I believe that. Connor has unparalleled dedication and when you are very very good at something you will always respect and be honest with those who exceed your abilities. In fact you would really want to know more about the ones who surpass you...its as genuine as your own drive and belief in what you do. If you dont respect ones who surpass you then you were lying about your love of your game all along...and since Connor is not lying...he will own up and respect anyone who is able to take him down. I never want to see that happen...but if it does...mark my words.

    I thought he looked my size, I'm 5' 8 3/4" and 75 inch reach, 10st 10lbs, he should have wheel-barrowed more as a kid, my dad is an Irish navvie ;0)
    Fair play and good luck, I'm an old man too old to be this sharp.

      +Philip “Mole” Rowney 5'8 and 75 inch reach? The fuck? Conor don't got that. He's like 5'9 at least, and 73 inch reach at the most.
      I don't think I've ever seen a 5'8 guy with 75 inch wingspan.

      Philip Rowney Conor has long arms too. Even 73 inch reach is good for a featherweight.
