    where are we supposed to enter the equivalence ratio .... in the solution step

      Equivalence ratio value can be finded from mass fraction of hydrogen (fuel) ÷ 0.02916

      For equivalence ratio , All you need is the stoichiometry (mass) mixture fraction. For hydrogen and air this fraction is around 0.02916. you would create a custom field function defined as the hydrogen mass fraction and divided by 0.02916.

      I have mailed you regarding our project. there three doubts. 1. should we take static temperatures and pressures or total temperature and pressure. 2. should the gauge pressure be 0 and operating 101325 pascal enough? 3. in our bases paper, the flow interaction with fuel is happening before the fuel injection location. I am not able to recreate that. can you please help me with it? would be really really grateful

    May I inquire about why you used the Far Field inlet condition? My understanding was that PFF was best for external compressible flows.

    I must be doing something incorrectly. When I run it, the normal shocks don't form and there is a build up of 1.5 bar by the inlet.

      Follow the same step. apply face meshing . keep the inlet gauge pressure zero. You will get good shockwaves. go with mesh size 0.25mm and keep 3000 iterations.
