      Hi Jon, these boots are made of nubuck leather, which doesn't need to be oiled. Unless you are really beating them up, like say you work in construction, I don't see these "breaking". Thanks for watching, please like and subscribe!

    Hi, Do you have the premium 6 inch black Timberlands? I would love to see a comparison if you do! I am trying to decide on a good comfortable waterproof boot to buy my husband for Christmas. I have it narrowed down to these black radford, the black premium 6 inch or the earthkeeper. I like the look of the black the best but i saw the earthkeeper at dsw and the insole was really soft. Any input would be super appreciated! Would love to see comparison video if you have any of the other boots! Thank you so much!

    Got these boots recently, they are everything I hoped for.
    Much more light weight and comfortable to wear and walk in than Original Premiums.
    Sizing- they're fairly wide fit, and fairly large fitting. I normally go for size 9, and I have wide feet. I had to get size 8.5, and it fits really well. So I would recommend sizing half a size down from your usual sneaker size if you're ordering online.

    • @HarryH187
      @HarryH187 3 года назад

      Thak you for that information, i also go for 9 but i dont have wide foot, and 8.5 i think its perfect for me

    • @MoreThanHype
      @MoreThanHype  5 лет назад

      Hi there,
      The waterproof aspect of these boots are great for winter, but I'll note that it doesn't have the primaloft insulation the classic 6 inch boot has. So if you get frigid winters I would go with the classic over these. Thanks for watching!

    with the premium ones they feel heavy and one of the boots actually hurts my right foot bone. thats a premium i got 10 years ago. im looking to buy one again, is this radford one just really lightweight and doesnt hurt your feet and easy to wear like a pair of sneakers because the premiums i got are harder to slip on. also i will use your promo code once i buy.

    Should I go with Radford or original Premium ones? Is Radford shoe comfortable to wear for about 7 8 hours?

    • @MoreThanHype
      @MoreThanHype  6 лет назад +3

      Hey Maximus, great question. Yes, I can wear the Radford all day without my feet hurting. If you are looking for a boot that is light and flexible this is a great option. However, if you live in a colder area then the original might better suit your needs. Both are waterproof but the premium also has PrimaLoft insulation. My feet haven't felt cold in the Radford but it is one big difference when looking at these boots on paper. Please like the video and subscribe and thanks for watching

    Hello, i just got these boots and i am super happy with sensorflex. One thing tho, does this less rigid sole last ? Or the foam collapses at some point and renders the whole boot useless? Thank you

    • @MoreThanHype
      @MoreThanHype  5 лет назад +2

      Hi there,
      The less rigid sole I would say is as durable if not more then the classic all rubber sole. The foam on my pair, which I have worn for a year, has not collapsed yet. Great question and thanks for watching!

    • @appelscha23
      @appelscha23 4 года назад +2

      I like the design of the Timberland 6-inch better. I feels like an original boot. The only small downside are the deep treads of the sole; after walking for a while they get full of dirt

  • @muznerd
    @muznerd 4 года назад +5

    I've been using these boots for 6 months. The gripstick outsole is not that grip on wet very smooth surface. I'm almost accident when I'm running on wet smooth tiles. But in dry weather, the gripsticks outsole is perfect on any surfaces.
    Even at smooth tiles.
    However, during rain, the gripstick work well on wet grass, wet rock, wet tar road, wet sidewalks. Only at smooth surface such as tiles, smooth steels, and slippery rock is not that grip as I imagine. Still need to be careful.
    Overall, I like it even at summer since the insulation is not that much compare with the normal premium timber.

    • @MoreThanHype
      @MoreThanHype  6 лет назад +2

      Hi Mr.BrownieB, the premiums come in waaaay more colors and different materials compared to the lightweight boot. Even if you already have a winter boot the sheer number of different colorways still makes them something to consider. If you like one of the few colorways the lightweight boots have then, by all means, go for it. Also, if you change your mind, Timberland.com has free returns within 60 days, so no worries! Hope this helps and thanks for watching.

      Timberland waterproofing is from seam sealing which is an internal feature, so I wouldnt really be able to show you that through video. I can pretty confidently say if water gets through the seams they probably arent legit or theyre a defective pair, thanks for watching!
