Very interesting. I actually like the open headlight style, but would not be cheaper and more importantly easier to make a cover for the Series II ? Just a bubble that cover the open section and tugs under the bezel. The shape would be slightly different than ser I. of course, but no welding, no painting, etc. would be involved. Again I prefer the open headlight for many reasons. It might be impossible as I see the lamp body being too out, but this is a very evasive modification, so probably only done at restoration time. The pieces seems to be well thought out and self explanatory so a competent body shop could do this easy. thank you for making these kit and help keeping the E-type's on the road :-)
