The opposite would be to convert a today Nissan Leaf with an old engine from a 80s Toyota or BMW. A horrible idea. But this is the perfect combination

Sacrilege :) , i do like EV conversions but i think it rather ruins the spirit of owning something as cool as a E-Type but for a hipster trying to look cool it would work i suppose.
I think something like a classic Rolls Royce would be a good conversion as its more about quietness and luxury so you would not care that the engine is gone.
Also Its funny how much people buy into the whole EV is saving the planet nonsense, as the materials for the batteries are causing far more harm than oil and gas.
We also will never run out of oil as its constantly created, the myth that it comes from dinosaurs is pretty funny though.

As with all of our conversions we don't cut or alter the car at all which means they are entirely reversible. Owners can choose to keep their engines. Once converted though you have a reliable E-Type that will get you where you want to go and back again! And you will be able to drive it anywhere. It's a useable classic and as you say, a very cool EV!

Outdated view, hydro and the sun will never run out too. In my country we are over 80%hydro. My electric car runs off my solar no cost to run saving pollution etc. I’m guessing you have a tv, phone, tablet, pC etc all made from polluting process like fossil cars batteries etc. I’m excited with the new battery technologies coming up that don’t use lithium etc. my petrol car I use as boat tractor runs off petrol which is taken from the ground in the middle east processed, pipped to ships travels to the other side of the world then pumped out into tanks then into trucks then into tanks that I can fill from. Very inefficient and polluting at every step. My solar hits my roof goes into my battery and then into car. Beautiful, clean fast styley with over 500km range and very advanced mod cons👍
