- The Yazidi girls were often still teenagers when they were abducted by IS fighters. Stolen from their villages in the mountains of Kurdistan, they were forcibly converted to Islam and sold to terrorists as sex slaves.
The atrocities reached their height in August 2014. Now, years later, survivors are returning home. They are severely traumatized. Will these women be able to make a new start? Theater maker Hussein tries to help them build a new life.

very insightful documentary. Kurds are very brave people who are misunderstood, oppressed and attacked from several neighboring nations especially Turkey, world shows very little to no help nor empathy for these people. God bless them.

As always, the ones who suffer most from violence are the children. My heart is breaking for these beautiful girls, but my faith in humanity still stands because of people like Brother Hussein.

The IS is another monster brought to the middle east by the USA. Just try to put the pieces of the puzzle together and you'll get to the core of the truth.
When the USA interfered in Afghanistan it was Taliban, and then in the Iraq and Syria it's ISIS. The irony is that ISIS had non Muslims as high-ranking officials, which raises a lot of questions as to why they claim to be an islamic state yet they kill Muslims.

I am very sad about the fact that they won't take back the woman with her childern in Urfa. What is the fault of this inocent childern? Every human has the right to start over they didn't harm anybody.
I'am living in turkiye too. Does anyone know this woman? I wish i could help her in some way... They went trough such a trauma and now their own people won't take them back. How sad is this
That was heartbreaking, but after all this people suffered, we can not know why decided to have zero tolerance for the children coming from the violence. It was very hard to hear, maybe the most hard part of the documentary.
Yes. As much as a feel for Yazidis I disagree with this part of their tradition.
It shows how traditions of different cultures and religions are so bad.
Empathy and caution over all else should triumph over tradition and religion.
It is so sad that the children, through no fault of their own are the ones to suffer. Suffer not the children. Such brave women. The horrors they endured by ISIS is unimaginable.
How people defend the oppression/treatment of these poor people or dismiss their abuse is sickening.

What happened to the yazides was horrible, but they did kill that girl who was very innocent with stones jus because she had some sort of friendship with someone Muslim and they had to pay for this crime very disgusting and disturbing crime so in the name of religion they all as bad as each other when they have the power!
