I know their old now but I really enjoyed owning an r53mcs for a a few years, with some bolt ons it made 190hp and the whine of the supercharger just made it addictive to drive. Also I picked mine up for 500 spares or repair all it needed was a new radiator. Although theyve gone up a bit in price now, but still Imo one of the most fun minis there's even been!
The FN2 may be the least loved Type R, but it's also the most modern NA-engined hot Civic money can buy. Also my favourite looking both inside and out of all of them. I feel this is a dangerous thing to say on the internet, but (having driven both) I reckon the FN2 is more fun than the seemingly instantly-legendary FK8. The car on this list that I haven't driven and feel I really should, is the Mini. I made it as far as sitting in one with the key but the naff interior put me off that badly. Incidentally, later that day I test drove an FN2 Type R instead, but 3 days later bought my IS250.

FYI an R32 golf is 100% a warm hatch it wouldn’t see which way a Clio RS went for dust. They really are incredibly slow as standard! 😂 still great cars and they do sound sound amazing. I’ve owned both, still have a Clio RS nothing is more fun in that price bracket.
Good Q - not too pricey, you can get them sub-5k but as it’s only the pre-facelift, twin-charged version which is known to be pretty bad on reliability I thought I’d go back to ol’ faithful 9n3!

Suzuki swift should have been here
It was in the previous list
Clio 197 is truly underrated!
Fiesta ST and Clio RS are my favorites
That's a good list of cars and some I've been looking at.
I do like the 123D but really like the look and interior of the Fn2 Type R
A Leon cupra r is well in that price range. I bought one new in 2004, still have it today. A lovely car
Was going to mention this, I’ve got one definitely better than these motors
civic ep3 should be on this list
Citroen ds3 thp too! Those were awesome little things to rag about in! Especially with a remap
polo pd130 is a great option for younger drivers aswell as they’re the cheapest to insure out of all the 130 cars!
Miss my fabia vrs, running just over 200hp was more than enough in that to make it fun.and it was good on fuel.

6:12 "the key feature that stands out is the triangular exhaust pipe" as the footage shows two drainpipe style exhausts.
Yeah the footage was of a Nurburgring edition which comes without the triangle exhaust unlike the standard version 😅
Very good cars showcased ❤
Cheers as always boss!

Err my 2013 swift sport is an NA 1.6. It left production in 2017.

Mitsubishi Colt ralliart is in this price rage as well.
Great video still 👏
Such an underated car. I just dont think people know about them as they didn't sell as well as the others on the list. Forgotten gem.

With the VW Polo GTi what about adding a stage 1 to make it less sluggish?

Hello sir
A mini Cooper s for 2k 😂😂 I need 8k to buy a mini or even a corsa vxr in Portugal
But Portugal is shit for buying cars, a Civic Type R FN2 costs anywhere from 14000 eur to 21000 eur.
