Exactly. Is this a "team" game or are they only gonna sit someone on the third or fourth line? After the defensive blunders Nylander has done seating a lowly guy like Kampf is crap.
Their defense is the main reason they give up so many goals. It doesn't matter which goalie is in net, poor defensive play in your on end and no back check leaves the offensive players open. Its a team game and the leafs do not play team defense

I think Keefe was a great fit when the guys were kids. I feel they need a hard nosed coach to make them accountable. No emotion with these guys.

Soft,skinned players could never play years ago,I don’t care how much more talented they are!Just because you are physically stronger,does,not mean you are mentally stronger!That is the big difference!I noticed that years ago,about 15 to twenty years ago,working 46 years on the ramp at Midway Airport in Chicago!Told a guy he was lazy,cause he was,he went to humane resources,they tried to chew me out,I told them they could take their dollar an hour more leads pay away,and I would fend for myself!They left me alone,and the lazy guy changed his tune!End of story!

The leaf are a Stanley cup contender! All they need are 2 excellent defence men ,2 Scoring forwards for when core 4 is asleep,and 3 goaltenders for quality of patrick roy, maybe a penalty killer. Other than that maybe a coach from Philly,he can make a silk purse out of nothing but would he be able to install the passion that seems to sadly lack here. Always wise to set your best defensive forward when you give up 20 goals in 3 games

As a life long leafs fan, this season is over. The team just doesn’t have what it takes to win.
It's not over till it's over have faith they will get there, they just need to adjust more and put in more effort from everyone not just star players. It's a team sport, right now they doing what every other team that loses, relying on star power, they need to stop that and get everyone involved, what Keefe is doing is the right thing benching players cause it's proving that the team is weak, they need to work together to be strong.

@@jimlangdon1947 Mathew's is the leagues best scorer and plays both ends. Marner I agree shouldn't even have an "A" on his jersey and never should have. Unfortunately Dubas built a soft team and surrounded these guys young with nice guys. McCabe, Bertuzzi, Giordano and Reaves are the few fierce veteran players and unfortunately they joined the softest locker room any of them have ever been in. Liljegren, Robertson Marner, Nylander & Knies all have decent value and yet the fans and management expect to keep everyone and make significant upgrades. It'll never happen!
@@xrsroofingsolutionscanada2151 To be the NHL’s best scorer - at least Auston should have scored one playoff elimination game winning goal in almost a decade of attempts. He has none. Marcel Dione and Matthews have scored many goals that didn’t lead their teams. Many top players (Gretzky being one) - learn to help their teams to meaningful success by scoring less. Matthews as a one time 60 goal scorer is about the same level as Hull, and doesn’t compare to successful players like Gretzky and Keon.
Mathews is the best goal scorer in the world. Figure It out
