I despised the Australian cricket team when England were playing them, yet when they retire from the game, I can't help but adore them for thier love of Cricket, and thier love of England. And vise versa. Ponting is an absolute legend.

I don't think they have any love for England. Ponting would never coach an England team, he said that explicitly.

@@Dana21283 I never said anything about not appreciating their former players and legends. I mean, do you expect him to be uncivilized? He most definitely is a nice man off the pitch and speaks his truth. You can't fault a player like him for liking talented players, past or present. And the fact that he won't ever coach them speaks volumes, the Ashes rivalry is very much real and thriving, don't be fooled by the friendly behaviour of these legends on air. He was very critical of Root in 2022 when he scored 40 off 40 when these English former players were heaping false praise on how Bazball was saving test cricket.

    • @MrBillUp
      @MrBillUp 2 месяца назад +2

@@prithviroy11 We were hugely critical when Steve Smith and Co got the sandpaper out. The British press absolutely rimmed everything about Australian cricket. And so did the fans, me included. And this is my point. When its about cricket, we despise each other.
Off the field its a different story. We admire each other. Without England v Australia there would be no Ashes. The history of Cricket would never have been so rich with history, sacrifice, and honour.
When these Australians come to these shores and play County Cricket, we appreciate them coming over. We love watching them play on our hallowed turf. And when they retire and start commentating for the main sports broadcasters, we absolutely love and respect thier input. They practically live here, and love doing so.
As an aside, when Shane Warne passed away I was broken hearted. We lost a true genius, and the best spin bowler to ever live. All England Cricket fans felt the same way. On the pitch we despised him ripping through our attack. Off the field he was a true Legend.

Otherwise you won't get a job again. And Hussain, iirc, has commentated on IPL before. While he enjoyed the money, he was always dictated by the producers what to talk about on air every other over. The last question about the future of Test cricket...Well, Biggest cash cow of ICC - BCCI has given test cricket the top priority n convyed the same to its players as well. Look at thier improvement in Test Cricket in last 10 years. Similar can be said about ACB n ECB. The biggest problem is the Test Cricket decline of other nations like Pakistan, NZ, SA, SL, Bangladesh. Each board has to look after their structure n players. I don't think ICC can do anything about it. At the best, they can market Test Cricket in way where ability of every player will be judged on the basis of how they perform in Test Cricket.

We all have resonant energy center. What ever we do we always go back to old habit that is what everyone born with it. There is no way you can change that...
If we learn to put right people in right job , everything will get boring. We never want that then we will start speaking truth
You know what happen a human speak the truth , A human next to him will kill him and call the guy who spoke truth as mental person after he killed him.
Because we humans play game of lies. We hide in our lies . All of us. Its our virtual world.
Our primary motto is not let brain see truth. Because it has bad nature. That is obsession. once it get obsessed with truth , it goes all out and endanger the HOST.
So we live in our FANTASIES. We attached to new things every day. Just to hide.
We only want brain to manage the body. We do not want it to think independent.
Body and Brain and You one and same? Not really.
We may be manager of our body and brain but brain does the all work load. If brain go strike body suffers
We want our brain to be HAMSTER ON A WHEEL. They we have immortality of sort

Rciky ponting proven to be BAD COACH. he failed in Mumbai and Delhi. His issue? Being JAWLRA boy or Inspirational coach wont cut it if you dont have strategy to outsmart other coaches. Key is picking right captain. Some time its all about money than coaching. WHY STIR THE POT when you can get the money doing talking?

Ricky was an angry, bitter cricketer whose personality was reflected in his team's sledging. Great batsman but I've never liked him.

He was never bitter or angry, that was just his competitive nature that made weak men/women uncomfortable. His skill and talent was only matched by how feisty he could be to win any game for his team. And there are many such players, you probably don't understand the phrase 'white line fever'. And you're probably not a very competitive guy/girl.

Ricky pont failed and aslo anil kumble failed because of one reason. They think their method is what every one follow. Foolish people. Everyone is different. These two cant coach. Justin langer , Darren lehman all are one and same.
Rigjid coaches are bad coaches. Let player be player ,
You just need to know where to put where . he did not have that
Skilled people always think like skilled people. They lose broader perspective of making a WHEEL that become perpetual wheel.
Meaning if you put right people together and they become glue and they take care of themself.
But selfish coaches think selfish way. They become more important the team. That is the disease of people i mentioned above

what?? That's the biggest load of nonsense I've ever heard. Ponting has 2 IPL trophies as a coach, he just won the MLC in his first year there. He would probably win the Big Bash if he had a better team. And he hasn't coached any International side yet, we all know his record as captain. I'm pretty sure he knows and understands cricket better than or as good as anyone.

Cricket is lucky to have folks like ponting, graeme smith etc in punditry. They tower over pundits in other sports
