This came out so amazing! All the little cartridges are SO CUTE! I am so glad my measurements could help get you started. I love everything about this collab ❤❤
Incredible! Classic! Your humor -like your talents … beyond! Loved it lol! Thanks! Kathleen
I'm thrilled you get my humor! lol..im a goof! I think I was more nervous to make these items because they were for someone else, when it's just for me, it's easier, cause if I mess up, I'm like..whatever. But I really wanted her to love them and so I was so happy that she did!
I'm amazed at how talented you are, to make things in such a tiny scale. You did a great job.
thank you for that! I was a little nervous but I was overall happy with the results. I was nervous all the way up until Lesley texted me and told me she opened the package and loved what I made her.
I remember our tv was actual furniture, not a tv on top of a tv stand. Maybe left over from the 70’s? We had Atari, I remember playing frogger, Pac-Man and Pitfall. We didn’t play it that much, only on rainy days. We were riding bikes, playing outside. I don’t remember microwaving tv dinners. We put ours in the oven. The 80’s was the best!
For a while I had a tv that was more like a piece of furniture too! it was HUGE!!! My friend let me borrow it when I got my first apartment until I could afford my own..it was back breaking to move! It's true most of my childhood was spent outside going on adventures with the rest of the kids on the street. It was a great time!
They called them a console tv. We had one in every room in the house. My mom was pissed when they finally died (one by one) and had to be replaced with a flat panel tv. She would watch tv with the aspect ratio that made those two black lines on the side for the longest time.😂🎶memories!
🎉very cute 🎉
Thank you love. I did have fun with tiny collection.
Dang! You're genius and a glutton for punishment lol.
first...thank you! and Second...yes..lol...I found this scale challenging and admittedly very adorable!
@@WhitneyLaBrie 1/2 is my favorite to look at, but every year it's a bit harder to do. Thanks for sharing.
I love all the minis you made me! This was such a fun collaboration. You did a wonderful job. So cool to have the stuff in my hand then see how it was made. Totally Awesome!😎 Thanks again ❤Lesley
I had a blast creating these things for your house, it pushed me out of my comfort zone which I appreciate and as my first attempt I certainly learned some new things. I'm so happy you loved them!
I forgot to tell you I did those same bangs also at some point 😂. My older brother and sister definitely pegged their pants I think we just called them pegged jeans. Rugby shirts were also very cool.
You are so talented. That is adorable
thank you for that! I was just so happy she liked my creations. I was so nervous with this scale and making it look good for her room.
@@WhitneyLaBrie no need for worries when you're that good.
We called that “peg legging” our jeans. lol. The amount of hairspray that I used in that time period of my life was astronomical. Great work!!
Yes I'm glad I want the only one that did their jeans like this! It's true, I used enormous amounts of hairspray. Im also surprised I didn't completely burn all my hair off my head!
This was so much fun! I love everything and it definitely took me back to the 80s😂
I was over all happy with the results. It was really hard to get the same realism that I can get from 1:12 scale, so it gave me a deeper appreciation for those that work in this scale a lot!
That was brilliant!
I would have driven myself bonkers trying to pull that off…
I for sure appreciate this scale more now having created these little minis for Lesley. I was happy to be pushed into creating these little in a new scale, but my favorite is still 1:12. Hope you are doing well!!!!
The 3 inch tall reference sketch is brilliant! I am making my first diorama in decades and it gives me a scale. I am trying to decide between half and three quarter scale.
I'm so happy you found that to be helpful, it certainly was for me! I find anything smaller than 1:12th to be challenging so I am in awe of you for creating minis in those scales!
AWESOME, PATIENT WORK!! [I remember those TV dinners--those peas and carrots Never got done and always seemed dry and still half-frozen!!]
Awe thank you! It's funny cause now a tv dinner feels like a last minute, quick option, and your left feeling like "meh" but back then I used to get so excited when my mom would make us tv dinners, it felt like a treat! lol
So creative!!! I solved the rubik's cube in 1983 while I was sitting around in my ninth month waiting for my third baby to be born, because I was too big to do anything else! Also, I noticed you were talking about microwaving a TV dinner while you had a dinner in tinfoil on screen. Before microwaving, we had to cook them in the oven! (They got more evenly cooked, but they took a long time!) 😂 ❤
yes that is very true about the tv dinner, the earliest I can remember was the oven ones with the foil, and my mom would make them on occasion and for some reason it felt like a real treat! lol
My grandpa is the one who bought us our first microwave (it was huge) and almost NO food came with microwave instructions and I remember burning a pot pie in the oven as a kid and turned it into a burnt looking hockey puck! lol, my mom was so mad!
This is so nostalgic ❤❤❤
I love nostalgia! It was fun for me to go down this memory lane while crafting these little for Lesley. :)
I can practically smell the Aqua Net lol.
hahahahaha! Yaaassss, for sure. I actually used AquaNet for my bangs too, the smell brought me back immediately.
You never disappoint!! OMG - I can't believe the nostalgia I am feeling right now. How many of those TV dinners did I eat as a teen?????!!! And before you even said which one you were making, I said out loud "Salisbury steak!" It must have been the most popular one. It kind of turns my stomach even thinking about it (I would never put anything like that in my body any more, but I LIVED on those!!!). Thanks for the trip down memory lane! I think your half scale came out FANTASTIC. My favorite thing is your TV set - it is perfect! Will check out Lesley's channel. 💜 Kat
Oh for real! I went between those dinners and the frozen burritos...same here, I stay away from that now but I think much of my preteens and teens years were fueled by microwave meals!
I’m so impressed that you were able to do all of this in half scale! And your bangs looked amazing!
lol! Those bangs! Did you have big hair then? My dad used to tell me to go stand on the roof with those bangs so we could get better reception on the tv!
🎉1983 i turned 18 on 29th jan what fun 🎉
oh wow! Well Happy Early Birthday!!! I had kinda wished I was a teen in the 80's. I think cause I was younger I was looking up to my friends older siblings and they seemed so cool with their Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Cure posters, sweet 80's hair and all the awesome clothes! loved it!
No scale is too daunting for you. As usual you completely nailed the challenge before you! For me : childhood in the 70s and ALL my teen years in the 80s. I had a red bean bag chair I LIVED in. My TV dinner was the fried chicken with apple pie, made in a real oven and it took f o r e v e r to cook. And yes my tongue and the roof of my mouth - seared to a crisp. Rubik's cube? I couldn't be bothered! 😂🤣😍✨
80's teens, oh how I wanted to be one!!! I remember so fondly looking up to my teen babysitter with her big hair and cool make up. She smelled like electric youth and aqua net! She had Duran Duran poster on her wall and she used to tell me that her boyfriend was the lead singer (and I believed her! lol) I was a teen in the 90's so my life was all about grunge music, flannel shirts, CK One and dock martins.
Omgosh Whitney!!🫶🏽😍🫶🏽😍 yes, it's definitely a blast from the past!! I love how far you've come with the polymer. You are on a roll!🤩 The tv was perfect!! The bean bag chair is so freakn cute!👏🏽👏🏽🥰❤️
Thank you for the compliment on the clay! I am trying to get better all the time, I knew that if I started with clay I would go down a rabbit hole...and I have. Always something new to learn.
Love this! Talk about a blast from the past!! Great job 🥰
oh man for sure, it was fun traveling down this memory lane. I love all things 80's!
Oh man, I had high anxiety watching you work in such a small scale.😬 You totally nailed it though, of course.❤😊
you and I felt the same! I too had anxiety. Probably more than usual cause I was doing a new thing and doing it for someone else! That added a whole new concern. I was thrilled and relieved when she reached out after opening the package and she told me she loved them. :)
This is one of my favorite creations you have made. How cool, yet adorable and tiny. How funny, I pulled out an old Atari, a remake I have, to play with Jason. So fun!
I have to admit that while this was a scale that I don't usually create I really, really enjoyed it. I could make more for sure!
Sweet memories of pong and joysticks ❤ don't forget the TV stand was on wheels 😂
you are so right about the wheels, I almost added them last minute and decided not too, kinda regret that! Thanks for watching!
You’re the best, Whitney!! WOW!!
this project had me sweating a bit as I was really nervous to take on the smaller scale, but it was worth it! Lesley loved it and I was so happy for that experience. :)
@@WhitneyLaBrie ♥️♥️♥️
Love how everything turned out! This was a blast from my past! I remember those TV dinners very well. I hoped you would use Pac-Man on the TV. I remember playing Pac-Man after school for hours.
A couple years ago, Bed,Bath and Beyond sold these nostalgia Atari game consoles with the games preprogrammed in, I of course had to buy one. My husband and I played it once and we were so bored by it..so funny cause it shows you how much technology had advanced that we just couldn't stay interested like when we were kids and it was the newest thing!
I called it too close lol
LMAO
Reminded me of my rec room! You nailed it! Love everything you made. Can’t wait to watch Wiilinrow arts video. The TV dinners are a blast from the past 😂 There was always a piece of corn in the brownie 😂 Thanks for sharing ❤
OMG I forgot about the corn in the brownie! LOL yes there was. This was really fun, challenging too, I had to think in even smaller terms which you would think would be easy but it was actually pretty challenging!
Omg I love the 80's brings back a lot of memories Thank you for making little cute minis... sorry I'm a little behind I've been sick.... I started throwing up again this morning my sister's been taking care of me she took some of my vapes she thinks that my problem so I gotta go 1 whole day and see if that it.... But anyways I absolutely love the 80's room
OMG you're going through it this week. I'm so sorry to read that. I hope you feel better soon!

Hi!!!! Happy Friday!
@@WhitneyLaBrie yay Friday again already lol 😆 x
Did I miss the making of the rubix cube?
I touched on it very quickly when I showing the VCR, VHS tapes and gaming cartridges. It was pretty fast though!
@@WhitneyLaBrie candy crush must have distracted me lol
