in some ways, you're right...in my "real" job I am often in costume! I work with seniors in their 80s+ and they love when I dress up, I usually do it for themed parties I throw for them. :)

I am so pleased you enjoy the enthusiasm, I am truly passionate about minis. I just get so dang excited! They allow me so many different ways to be creative, from creating a concept, and all the challenging ways to bring it to life, plus I love design and different styles, and of course I love movies so getting to mix that in as well is the icing on the cake! this room has been such a delight for me, pushing myself outside the realms of reality so to speak! Imagining how to represent each child and scene has been so fun. I'll be sad when I'm done!

The doors that open with a 3D printer is just amazing, I bought it maybe about 2 years ago now and I only printed one thing, it felt overwhelming at the time and I pushed it aside out of intimidation. Since then, a couple things have happened, first of all, there are so many digital designs in dollhouse minis that you can easily buy and download, way more than when I first started and the quality is waaaay better, and of course the other thing is that I finally put on my big girl pants and decided I COULD DO IT! lol...confidence goes a long way!

I really love these wall dioramas! They hit on so many levels..I can pack it away easily and bring it out every year, It doesn't require shelf space and of course it's filled with my favorite types of minis! Thank you!

Yes isn't that card holder so cool, it was in one of the kits. It was really cleaver, just two jewelry beads and wire, glue together and magic happens! I love those kits because I don't have to think, I can just read directions and make them and that particular brand is always a win. Yes it was time I reached out to TW and asked her to come hang out, we both love this time of year! lmao

I love that little outfit too. Funny story, I bought that dress and then one day I received a package in the mail from my mom with a note that said, "I saw this and I thought of you." It was the same dress! I guess Tiny Whitney has an obvious style! lol

I know the feeling, sometimes it like, I need to walk away and not think about miniatures for a little while. Especially when I get stuck on something, I usually have many projects happening at once so I can move back and forth until I figure out solutions while working something else.

@@WhitneyLaBrie I agree! We took a vacation in mid-July and I haven’t returned to minis since 😩 but I’m getting excited again to continue to work on the haunted house and the farmhouse 🥰

you sound just like me! Yes, let's never grown up! I came across a Darth Vader figure case recently at a antique store in Texas and I really was tempted to buy it, have zero need but just wanted it, I was trying to convince myself I could use it to store miniatures, but I really already have too much stuff! its kinda out of hand! lol I'm so happy you enjoyed the video, making the toys for this room was one of my biggest project highlights, it was a blast!

@@WhitneyLaBrie well, I have way too much as well, but, it’s very therapeutic to me. I collect movie posters and have the Poltergeist poster framed in the living room, as well as some of the cast autographs. But I’ve tried to hang on to my stuff I kept from childhood, some of my Star Wars toys, He-Man, Gi Joe and Transformers. A collection room to go sit in and travel back to those innocent better days. Anyway , good job finding that stuff! There’s a great article online from a couple of years ago called “The Technology of Poltergeist” or something like that. Anyway they tell you the models of all the tvs, cameras and stereos seen in the film as well as stuff like the windup robot toy in the kids floor. Neat stuff. Anyway, glad I stumbled onto your stuff it’s awesome! Oh I also have the Star Wars a New Hope poster that’s behind his bed! lol

that asylum is one of those projects where you can just keep going and going, I bought a mattress for it too already, love your ideas. Someone else said I could add an old rotting bird house to one of the branches and an old IV pole with a dried blood bag also great ideas!

Old projects are great validation of growth in a hobby, and it was so satisfying to revive it. As with most of my projects I still left it with the ability to add more, I half way thought that I could add hooks to the bottom and use it for my Halloween jewelry, or even keys!

those kits are so fun, I worry sometimes when I buy kits...I ask myself will I actually ever sit down and make them! Luckily this channel keeps me motivated!
