- I'm excited and also a little bit sad to finally finish the Back To The Future Garage today. I will be adding the walls, accessories, lighting and more this week as I finally complete the room and we will talk a little about the next room coming up!

I think the "dolls" are perfect to complete the space! I feel like rooms without characters in them seem incomplete. Great work, Whitney! ❤
Yeah I really like them, it's new for me to use dolls of any kind, I think I've mentioned before that I used to never use them but have slowly fallen in love with using them in the right spaces. They really be a different element that is super fun!
It’s AWESOME! Heck Yeah the action figures worked great in the room! This is such a nostalgic movie. All the details, you did an incredible job! Willy Wonka next, so fun!
Thank you! This is really one of my favorite movies and trilogies ever. It was fun brining it to life in mini form, and I really LOVE the action figures in the room. The entire project was fun and I really enjoyed pushing myself to build things in ways I hadn't done before AKA the Delorean...
Fantastic job. The TV still gets me every time! I don't use dolls or action figures in my builds but I think for this scene from a movie it makes sense to do so.
I admit too that the TV rocks, I was thrilled with that product and would not mind figuring out another location for another one at some point. I've come along way with dolls, there was a time I NEVER used them, or animals actually cause they always tipped off the scale and took away from the realism. But I've grown to appreciate them and of course in movie scenes it adds more of a charming addition to the enviroment!

Thank you Zoe! I'm looking forward to starting the next room. It will be more conceptual I think versus a replica like I did here. I'm going to try and encompass a lot of the Willy Wonka instead of just one scene (I hope) lol.

Hey you! What's going on in your world this summer? OOOh I am looking forward to starting the Willy Wonka room and of course other projects in between. Always a little sad to be finished with a room though. :)
Yeah,I can imagine that a completion is a bittersweet experience.

I love the details in the boxes and lamps that just add to the already amazing pieces you have made! I like the dolls because you can almost hear them frantically discussing the plan😆 I have some Munster action figures that I fully plan on using someday. I say, if they work for the scene then go for it!
I totally agree about the dolls. Ive grown to really love using dolls in scenes where before it was something I was really apposed to. I'm pretty happy with the over all look of the room but for some reason I'm most proud of the Marlin...lol, I don't sculpt and so I was so happy it came out looking like it should!
That tv is so cool. This room turned out awesome. Some rooms don't need figures but then there are some that look great. These dolls work great in their garage.
I agree, sometimes a room can stand alone and tell a story without the dolls and then sometimes the dolls can add just the right amount of personality that make it perfect!

I had so much freaking fun with this room! There are a few things I would maybe do different but learning is part of the process of course. The dolls just bring a certain personality to the space and liven it up and I think tell a story a little. The details fo these dolls also are pretty amazing really, they are made by NECA and they have a decent amount of 6 inch dolls that work for this scale.
I love how the garage turned out ... just perfect! The garage door is so cool, especially the window ... the whole room is wonderful! Love your videos. ❤
Thank you! I was happy with the garage door too, I half way thought that it would be boring as in most garages, but being I was trying to recreate the movie as close as I could it just made everything come together perfectly once it was installed.

Yeah if they are the right scale they can really look good in the rooms! I've grown to love them, I used to hate dolls in the house but clearly, I've changed!

Great job! I think the action figures are a good idea- I love dolls in doll houses but for a recreation like this the figures are the way to go! And now on to another adventure!

Yes I really love WW too! I have been drawing up several different plans the last few weeks so hopefully I will be able to pull off the crazy fun that I hope this room will become!

Its been great cause NECA makes a lot of 6 inch dolls, lucky for me I was able to get the Indiana Jones dolls and the Back to the Future Dolls, although Marty should be shorter technically but he still looks good in the room cause Doc is taller.What I also love is that their accessories are also the correct scale..and I'm down for having accessories that I can just place in the scene versus making everything! Saves me time and I really need that these days!

thanx! It felt really good bringing it together finally! But as in all projects I get a little to sad when they are ended, thats why I always leave room fro adding later, its my way of getting back to it again! lol (it's a sickness!)
Hi Whitney great space, I love Back to the Future. Action figures are good to use because the can stand and are posible so great for scenes. I did a whole miniature house for Kane from WWE and I used an action figure of him and it was awesome. Keep up the great scenes.
Oh wow that is amazing! I would freaking pass out if I ever had the chance to make a miniature scene for a celebrity! I do love the action figures and I had so much fun posing them for this video "photo shoot" lmao. I giggled all the way through it, it was awesome!

WOW - I love how this came out!!!!!! The details are perfect! And, unsurprisingly, I also LOVE the original Willy Wonka with Gene Wilder. When you said "I have so much time and so little to do", I said out loud "strike that - reverse it" and then you said it lol. Its gonna be awesome ~ I am really looking forward to it!💜

I made a mini kit up but i didn't really like it sooooo i turned it into an abandoned hotel. Yay much better lol i used your twine idea for my vines it looks cool imo 🎉

I love this!!! The dolls (A.F.) are perfect. I've been considering using some of mine. Really, very creative, and I enjoyed the comparison pics with the dolls. You crack me up..... will there be Snozzberries lol! WW is one of my fav movies.

NECA is releasing a Jessica Fletcher action figure in October. My husband is a big fan of Murder, She Wrote, (but who isn’t)? I’m working on a scaled diorama of her kitchen for him to display her. (I had no idea Jessica Fletcher was such a maximalist until I started researching her kitchen).

no, it's open on the back, it sat flat inside my dollhouse shed and for some reason became misshapen on the ridges, I'm going to have to get a new one. It almost looks like it began to melt which is weird cause the sun does not hit the dollhouse, total bummer!
Please tell me you have and you wear the shoes that Michael J. Fox had on From the movie?
I freaking love those shoes! I did not however buy them for this costume..although I heavily looked into it, I had a hard time spending the $50-100 on the shoes! It felt like a bit much for shoes I may only wear for a short time.
