I really like that Sapnap gets recognition for his pvp in MCC, a lot of times it feels like he gets hidden in Dreams manhunt shadow, which no doubt dream is good, but Sapnap is pretty amazing too
That's cause the pvp style is completely different in mcc from that in the manhunts I am guessing

Everybody constantly overlooks Illumina in battle box even though his kill average is the highest of all players. (He's never had fewer than 10.) And his teams generally do well.
I think Pete's consistently mature and positive attitude, even during MCCs where he hasn't felt well or where he's felt he underperformed, makes him a clear pick for, at least, the figurehead of MCC. There have been and will be players who can beat him at stuff, but he's just consistently good and consistently a good representation of both a very competitive player and a very gracious winner or loser.

I think for the tgttosawaf tapl deserves a honorable mention because he does super well by getting first the most in the walls map and did well on the MCC dome map in MCC 19 and it was his first time playing that map

@@simplsmente1699 He did, but I don't consider that coin record to be that impressive at it is only really representative of 3 mcc's (the scoring was changed in mcc 18 to drastically improve the scores of top players. I believe Illlumina 15 and Dream 10 would hold the record if they were converted to the new scoring).

I would mention SB737 for build mart. Great floater, great comms and has the ridiculous stat of having gotten first in every single S2 canon build mart which he has played in, with MCC17 and MCC20 being the two of the highest scoring build marts ever
I think they were going to, because if you have captions on during the BSABM section, it says "Honorable mention goes to SB737, a very efficient floater that has gotten 1st place in every build mart he's played", however they didn't actually say that.

Glad that Grian was mentioned for build mart, he’s definitely a consistent player. He’s normally hanging around 5 - 10 for almost every game, and there’s almost no games that he’s truly bad at. Of course build mart is his game, but he’s a really underrated player.
Illumina has shown at least one strong performance in every game except sky battle at least once whether that be placing high individually or placing high as a team. But in reality no one can beat Connor esports.
illumina would be unstoppable if he could bolster his sky battle and dodgebolt game play. those seems to be his only real "weak" areas (compared to some of the other s tiers anyway)
Illumina should def be mentioned in SG- he’s placed 1st individually 3/4 times he’s played (2/3 canon). Illumina & Quig atleast deserve honorable mentions in Battle Box, and Quig deserves a mention in Ace Race as well. Scott is probably the 2nd/3rd best buildmart leader, and SB737 is the best floater for sure.

Grian obvs best. He killed Dream and pretty much every S-tier. Also he loves getting big sky battle wins.
Honestly I'm still surprised Grian did insanely well in sky battle games recently, fun fact he's actually top 5 in average for the candyland in cannon Mccs

i believe that you have missed one key player. Technoblade. He has the WR for most indiv. points and for Skyblockle. Even though he doesn't play anymore, he still a player that should be mentioned.

I feel like techno deserves an honorable mention in some of these, while he no longer plays mcc, in season 1 he was a very dominant player

The thing here is, if we are only doing a season 1 assessment Techno should definitely in. However, the games have evolved already. For example Techno has never experienced the current sands of time, which is arguably more fast paced compared to its season 1 counterpart. While most of the games are similar on mechanics on its own, the strategies are what's changed. If techno plays at least 2 events, including non-canon events then we can include him in these videos.
I would say the only game where he should possibly get a mention is SB and maybe TGTTOS and even that is doubtful as the strategy has changed a lot since mcc 11:
-PT and GR are new games.
-Techno was never the best at SG, BB, HITW, SoT or BM.
-While Techno was in mcc both Quig and Pete were better in AR.
i feel like sb737 and scott should definitely be mentioned for buildmart. scott is a really good leader (seen in mcc 18) and sb has never not gotten first place in a canon s2 mcc (14, 17, 20)

If we are talking about sand duty, in no particular order:
1. Wilbur
2. Fwhip
3. Scott
Some other notable players that played sand keeper or at least a big contributor to the sand keeper duties as they regularly check despite being inside the tunnels

I think you got to look at the teams as well. Dream and sapnap for example have had some godly teams while fruit berries, hbomb, and illumina have had some not so great teams and still made it to dodge bolt and even won.
Well yes they've had godly teams but you can't deny their superiority when talking about specific games. Sapnap is definetly a pvp master (which includes the other players) and dream is definitely a movement player god (which also includes the other players). If you take out records, points and such you cannot deny their individual skill
Illumina's teams have actually been stronger than average, they just weren't planned to be that way originally. Fundy and Cub both scored more points than Ryguyrocky and Rendog would have been likely to in MCC18 and MCC20.
@@selmabrattli that is true, but a game like sky battle is easier when you have a better team, same with sands of time, survival games, battle box, build mart, and even tgttos. When you have a better team it brings up your average a lot.
@@BlueCyann illuminia brings up the level of play of his teammates by just being on their team and being a leader. That’s why his team got higher placement than normal.
@@notinmyhouse2639 Honestly, for Sky Battle Sapnap's team doesn't really matter for him since he plays so individually anyways. In fact his best Sky Battle this season was on his weakest team, MCC16.
Since Pete has been such a dominant player hed be the one to represent what mcc is about but id argue that Hbomb is also an figurehead of the tournument because of his leadership skills, coms and attitude. I think the best vibes in a team were when they teamed together.
Seepeakay is also a example since hes competetive, good attitude and good sportsmanship though he isnt often seen as the leader because hes steps back alot for other members to lead. Same with Quig when he needs to, hell always be such a extremly nice leader but hes also good at explaining the games to newcomers or "weaker player".
Those are some of the players that you would always want to have for a good time. They really are the ones who embodies what this tournument is for us and the players.
Dream can be a very good leader in every game except sg and bm
I think Pete and Sapnap are pretty much even now for best mcc players. The fact that Sapnap now has won 5 mccs, and last mcc, Sapnap claimed his 4th win IN A ROW. 2 events he had Dream, and every MCC with 2 S tiers is just auto win, but the other 2, Sapnap was with D tiers, and still won.
(Btw, when 2 S tier are on the same, team, it's over. Example: Dream/Techno Duo, Dream team + Karl [had Dream and Sapnap], Dream Team + BBH [All Stars, which was broken :Dream + Sapnap*]), Dream + Sapnap Duo (with Quackity and Michael), and that's pretty much it.
So how about "the 7 monarch" event, with petezahutt, sapnap, fruitberries, dream, illumina, quig and technoblade (well i mean he's technoblade).
33 peasant vs 7 monarch. I haven't thought the idea for the balance game but i like the names tho.
As fun and incredibly entertaining as this would be to watch, it sadly wouldn't work unless the 33 peasants had their comms split up, since 33 players in one discord call would not end well.
i feel like technoblade should have been mentioned. hes the blood god and has had some out standing plays! PLus in non canon events he has raised alot of money! Like in mcc pride (I think) where he rung the bell just for the money and crap like that. But i respect the what was said. Fruit illumina and quig are easy some of the best mcc players. But i can say. Connor is the best mcc player. If you dont agree you dont exist. its easy to know that hes the best with them outstanding plays!

Exactly. A lot of people have called him a weak link, even the admins. However, he's an extremely reliable player and his leadership skills often lead to the success of his team. For example, he's not the best explorer in sands of time, meaning that he doesn't get that many individual coins, but as a sand master he mostly ensures that his team doesn't get locked in and always has a good overview on how risky his team members can play and leads accordingly.

@@kyanward9065 mcc 4. Ironically, it was his first win. In the very first game (skyblockle), wilbur fell immediately and they said that that‘s why they don‘t have high hopes for his team. They said that the other 3 teammatesare good but he‘s the weak link. They then said that he‘s more of a funny minecrafter than a good one. However, it was only the 4th mcc so that was a looong time ago.
Tommy also has two perfect canon battle boxes and a third from MCC pride.
Honestly suprised but also glad that Wilbur is getting his leadership and team game recognition. But no lie, Connor eSports on top. Can’t deny it.

Crafting is also important in build mart, and i think Illumina excels everyone in that perspective. Though Grian would still remain the best build mart player
Banger video! I totally agree with so much said and didn't realise how influential Dream's been for strategy in MCC. I'd probably consider Illumina as one of the best movement players as he's the best at Ace Race, in contention for best at TGTTOS, is top 3 in HitW if excluding his first performance in MCC13, currently the top in the new Rocket Spleef Rush (even though yes he wasn't as good in Season 1 but surely a top 5 contender) and Parkour Tag performances show him to be top 5 there also. Also shoutout SB for being first in every BSABM in Season 2 :)
I'd say best movement is between Illumina, Pete and Quig as they are the only players who consistently do well in all movement games, while Dream has not shown strong ability in RS yet with Illumina and Pete probably having the strongest claims.

@@Unknown-nk3si I'd say he has probably passed Quig due to Quig being "weaker" in RSR so far, but Pete and Illumina are still clearly ahead due to their domination in RSR and HITW making up Dream's edge in PT (With Illumina also being ahead of Dream in AR and TGTTOS).

sapnap is aggresive but has a mind of a warrior, just like the commentary he knows when to fall back and when to engage, sapnap is really great at pvp

You definitely should've also considered Dodgebolts performances. If both Illumina and Fruit would've been better at DB, they both would've at least have a win in s2, not to mention multiple of them since they both have been in 3 DB this season

I’d love to see a new version of this, as purpled has showed himself in RSR, parkour warrior, and ace race. And also meltdown has came out and PKW so, I’d love to see a remastered version
Wisp technically also has two 9/9 wins along with Sapnap in Battle box, but I guess one of them was a non-canon event.
I hope they introduce a really good player some time in the future, someone who is less known but has real skill, to help them grow.

Buildmart is a great game (even though I know some people dislike it) because it takes a different skill set. All the names given for great BM players literally had not been mentioned before then, which really shows that - to a degree - BM levels the playing field in MCC
I think Technoblade should've been mentioned in PvP. He is really a PvP god and I think he deserves to be in Bingo, Battle Box and other games, because he has some really interesting strategies. Like in Bingo just killing people

So Quig's MCC 20 SB Round 3 Performance is tied with Dream's MCC 11 SB Round 1 Performance? They both got 10 kills and the win in that round.
Quig got slighty more unmultiplied coins since he survived alone instead of sharing it with a teamate.

do agree with the players mentioned but why not the blade? in the time he played he has never placed less than 9th individually (his least placement was 9th) in the record i have, in the 11 MCCs techno played he placed in top 5 in 8 of those, 6th,7th and 9th in the other three,
also at the time he was there he held almost every leaderrboard, there was one wall full of only him as the top player as he conquered it all lol

I think you should remake this video now. We have FBM, Purpled, Jojo and some big shifts in player strengths.
I think your forgetting about Scott and Shubble and Geminitay They are some of the strongest team game players in the entire event. Shubble is one of the best sand keepers in the event and can hold her own exploring aswell and has great comms for games like build mart and grid runners. Scott is excellent at leading his team to do well in bm and is solid at sot and gr. Gem is one of the best gr players with her godly comms and is a strong runner in sot. With her building knowledge she is great at build mart to. That's just my opinion anyway.
Gems great at grid runners but shes deffo not a great SOT player, she never does any parkour she comes across and unintenally marks unfinished hallways blocking her teammates. Though shes a great builder, shes panics too much at build mart and grian has only lost build mart when he was with gem.
@@neroxyx3085 your wrong here. I've watched all of her perspectives live and never did she once go down a hallway that was completed. Gem also helped to get the second highest season two coin record in sot, collecting 1500 coins to help her team. Just because someone isn't good at Parkour doesn't automaticly mean she is a bad sot player. I'd suggest you go actually watch her pov before you make a guess. And not to mention the two other times grian and Gem teamed together they won buildmart! In pride 2022 they won by over 1300 coins.
Tommy has had 3 9/9s in battlebox including 1 ace in mcc19 so imo he’s one of the better players in the game

It was a good performance, but both mcc 19 and mcc 9 SG were almost certainly stronger (mcc 15 Red got 10 kills, while Blue 9 got 14 and Cerulean 19 got 16, with Cerulean also looting 3 airdrops)

for tgttos i think any of the players who mainly play bedwars play super well, although they haven’t played too much they r still super good. Including Purpled and Blushii although Hannah is making her first appearance so gotta keep a eye on her!

Personal opinion, Illumina (although relatively new) is the best movement game player, but fruit is the undisputed tgttos champion. I also believe hbomb is the best sands of time player, because he’s the best team player of them all which is really important in a team game. I agree with pretty much everything else.
