We had a gage on back of a 2.4 diesil. 2.2 ton on it. Just kept goin. Mates dad rolled it smoked n kept goin. Very slow but great 4x4.

Bit late, subscribed but never got this till now.
Does anybody know if the girls name was Lucy? Many years ago I was
in that area and there was a story circulating about Lucy, a very good
tracker who was brought down from the north to locate missing cattle
for her ''boss''. After she found them she was loaned out to his friend
to find some of his cattle, with the warning to look after Lucy as the locals
dont take kindly to outsiders.
Unfortunately Lucy wandered out of camp and was speared near a waterhole.
Her boss had to be restrained from killing himself with grief over her death.
I never knew about the ghost.
