Coming from Dustem Up videos this is absolutely gold! Love it! I’m like Glenno even today. I haven’t seen snow but I am not looking forward to it too. 😂 I’m sticking to my usual tropical 🏝️ island weather.
Thanks for looking after the High Country......I wonder why some people wont you off. When I lived up there we would never drive when would cause damage like I've just watched
That was a great episode. Much emphasis on great. I'd love it if you wrote the year they were filmed in the comments or description if you ever know. Just for our curiosity to watch the relationship evolve between friends. In this episode Glenno got to eat first because he was the snow virgin, today he eats first just because he's Glenno 😂
Good video, but trying to figure out what way you went? Started at Jindabyne down to Reefton then said you were going over lake buffalo (no where near Reefton) then back in the Warburton area. Something not right with the original edit i think
Im From South Africa, and we never had that Ford here. Its obviously a Nissan Patrol Body, what engine and Gbox does it have? Also Nissan? Whats the story of a Ford Patrol? Can someone explain?
Yep it was an initiative set up by the government, the maverick was basically a patrol stamped with Ford vin numbers, you could buy Ford utes badged as Nissan. Camarys and corolla's badged as Holden's and Holden commodores badged as Toyota's. All with vins from the badge on the front. Now world war one track, Where is it?
Best? New or old 4bies? I reckon a 105 series Landcruiser , straight six petrol (diesel 4.2 if you can find one) (Petrol Drinks like a drunken sailor) solid axles, 3 “ lift, TJM pro lockers, 35” muddies Will get you most places.... in comfort for under 30 grand. That’s my two cents worth.
OK, some of the local 4wd's used WW1 as a nickname because it was just trench after trench. I'm thinking it was out of Jamieson but it's a few beers and trips ago! Can anyone else help???
Bean watching John rooth for many years at this point he was part of the family. Then when he had this roll over with his wife in the car . Then made us wait a week or two to see if she was OK,did it for me is was so obvious it was about the ratings sad .Lost a lot of respect for him at that moment
Yep I reckon if you do enough driving it's only a question of time. That's if you're trying - but this one, like my others, was unfortunately just stupid!
@@JOHNROOTHROOTHY All it takes is a momentary lapse in concentration or judgment. We’ve probably all been there. Coulda been worse, my lad laid 80+ tonne of road train on its side, he was lucky to live after a chopper flight to hospital with head injuries. Any one you can walk away from is a good one.👍
Yer I’m sure the 200 roo systems has the berrys then it goes into lip mode shit like mine did all the time or even worse when ya was over taken then it dies n shuts off fkn shit products
This is the guy (absolute legend) who started 4wd24/7 when it used to be called 4wd monthly. these vidoes are many years old from the same team as 4wd24/7
What a great trip with a top bunch of people.

Yep, not that any of that 'damage' will last past the next rain 'event' -go back a few times and see for yourself.
The bloke driving the maverick looks like chopper Reid 😂😂
The hand brake will be pleased 🤣🤣🤣, love it

The best 4x4 in the world is the same everywhere, no matter the terrain or weather. Simply , the hire car! :-D

The 200 series is a beast

Can’t beat the old clangers mate
Good stuff!
Great video Roothy! :D
This one is absolutely wild lol.
Definitely done similar stuff in Wombat forest lol
Landies were on the snowy. Due to lack of.numbers as land rover were stretched toyotas were ordered and nissan g60s
*why did you end up going from Khancoban to lake Mountain lol, lot of black top and so many tracks in between
Only how they tell you 😂
it's all in the edit - done in Sydney...
I'd travel with this crew anytime
The good old days
Hey Roothy how cold did it get and did you use Alpine diesel knowing you was going into the snow..Awesome video and bloody hard work in that mud ..
I use a Flash Lube winteriser additive - rather do it myself with a proven product than trust generic fuels.
I love you rooty‼️😂
Ha! Now I'm worried - on ya mate,.
Hahaha‼️😂😂😂✌️🇵🇭
Don't take it Seriously mate‼️😂
Good video, but trying to figure out what way you went? Started at Jindabyne down to Reefton then said you were going over lake buffalo (no where near Reefton) then back in the Warburton area. Something not right with the original edit i think
you got it - edited for enjoyment instead of accuracy!
Maybe it was the track the goes past Davies hut, the track the starts just after thredbo and takes you all the way down into Vic somewhere 😅
Im From South Africa, and we never had that Ford here. Its obviously a Nissan Patrol Body, what engine and Gbox does it have? Also Nissan? Whats the story of a Ford Patrol? Can someone explain?
Yep, just Nissan badged Ford to give Ford dealers something 4wd to sell. No difference. Over here back then we had more Ford dealers than Nissan.

JOHN ROOTH tx Roothy! You a legend, the 4x4 community here in South Africa talks about you!!! You go you good thing

Why dont u use chains on tires when ur muddin
They say the old landrover opened the bush and toyota Concorde it that hat your wearing i was wondering when it pups put me down for one
Give me old school trucks any day this new common rail stuff belong in doctors driveways
My wrangler Rubicon with the 3.6 petrol just eats up the mud..only downfall, wastes a bit more fuel 😒
Hokkian and cream.... I’m telling ma friends about this.
where abouts is the WW1 track? really wanna try it

@@JOHNROOTHROOTHY also where abouts is britanica? cheers for trying to help John!
You can't beat a 40 series cruiser
Where is WW1 track?
As fun as it may have been but nothing like destroying the tracks more than they already were .
Set of chains would have been handy.
and drive a Land Rover
Is that a young Shauno @12.48?
Definitely not shauno
Are dogs allowed in the National Park there?
Not allowed in alpine national park (except assistance dogs)
