I know how you feel tbh, except I never played anything to begin with. i've wanted to play an instrument since I was very little but none of my schools had band (my current school has grades 5 to 12 and i'm in the 10th, been in it since the 5th). it's just that schools arent that big in my country so we dont rly have band, only sports related clubs. we only have town bands (so it's rly mixed age lol). im gonna join one in january tho, just cause i've always wanted to do this so im gonna take advantage of this time right now as i'm 15.

Try doing a local DCA Drum Corp around you for starters
