@@CHOPZ-Bricks Hi Pat. I like the fact that the Chessie crew doesn’t sort the cars for Oak Hill. That makes the OHI switch crew use their brains a little! Hopefully I’ll be hanging out in the Atlanta airport at this time a week from now on my layover. I’m sure the dogs will go crazy when they see me. My wife will be happy, but probably not zooming around jumping on the furniture at her age.😁 Enjoy your week and stay safe!
@@judyrush3219 Nice comments like yours are why I make an effort to stay on schedule.😁 Thanks for your support. I look forward to getting home so I can work on my own trains. Have a great weekend and stay safe!
Hello Thom, Very nice view from your hotel. But I always like the scenes from your beautiful little railway and it's fun to watch you shunting with the small GP diesel locomotive. Very nice is the picture of your dog at the vet, and in time with the cat and dog. I wish you, your family and the animals all the best, good health and a very nice time. Best wishes Wolfgang
@@wolfgangpfeilergartenbahnd6530 Hello Wolfgang, my friend. Thank you as always for your kind comments. Just a few days left and I will be home with my family. Thank you for watching. Stay safe!
Hi Thom, Nice session as always! I think this has been one of the more challenging switching sessions that I can remember. Roof repairs are a nice detail that I hadn’t noticed before. The animals will be very excited to see you! Take care and stay safe! Scott
@@kahunatiki6498 Hi Scott. Maurice Grimes , who is a fireman, really notices roof details. I added plumbing vent stacks on buildings in Oak Hill due to his comments, as well. Luckily, a guy documented the Oak Hill depots before they were torn down. It has been a challenging session, lots of shuffling. More fun for me! Have a great week and stay safe!
Thanks for sharing Thom. It's always a pleasure on Saturday mornings. The sunset was great, I haven't seen a good sunset since last spring. No clouds to help make one. Lap time is important no matter how you get it. Rumors of rain in 2 weeks.
@@jackheninger5471 Good morning Jack. Thanks for watching. Still really dry in Georgetown I guess. Maybe some rain here on Monday, something I’ve never seen in my in my 10+ weeks of time here over the years. Have a great week and stay safe!
Thom, Good to hear from you. Thanks for taking the time to narate another good Ops Session. Also, thanks for sharing the photos of the pets. Stay safe in Mexico and have a good flight home. Rich

Hi Thom, Safe travels heading back home. I know first hand what's it's like being away from home, years ago I worked for a over the road trucking company that would keep me away from home for a month at a time. Wasn't much fun spending the weekend at a truck stop far from home and having to do your laundry in the pay washing machines and dryers at the truck stop. Back then I believe it was a dollar for the washer and another dollar for the dryer. It was $10 for a shower, but from what I remember most of the Truck Stops of America showers were pretty nice and all were always clean. I had a little Black & White TV with a rabbit ear antenna that would hang on my door window, just so I'd have something to do. Yes this was back before cell phones and the internet. Glad to see the dogs and cats are doing well and they're be happy to see you, when you get back home. I also wanted to let you know, I enjoyed the different camera angels, in this video and I really like the leaf clutter detail on the flat roofs of the post office and other building, neat detail. Cheers, Rich S.
@@RWSBaden Good morning, Rich. Just finished breakfast here and getting ready to walk around the 3-level outdoor mall across the street for some exercise. Here in Mexico, the hotel has a laundry service but in the US we do our own in the hotel laundry if we are staying over a weekend. The company pays for it either way. Thanks for noticing the roof details. The abandoned building across the street from the depots has a falling down TV antenna and a large patched in the middle of the roof as well as the encroaching vines. I had some fun with it. Looking forward to getting home to my wife and animals! Have a great week and stay safe!

Another nice session Thom. This one made the crew work!!! The pets will be very happy to see you, maybe your wife too 😉.
