Great video Richard.Good to see the sun shining and land slowly drying. The simba cultipress looks in exceptional condition. The opico vari disc looks to be doing an ok job and glad you ask Phil's opinion of the job in hand.
Hello Richard mate.its good to see some field work being done, and also keeping your hand in the auction will help bring some ££ in. Down here in Cornwall we are just about seeing tractors in the fields, so let's hope it's game on eh. Take care .
Nice to see you are able to get on the land,we are a long way from getting on ours.We have an old Konskild vibroflex brilliant tool for getting air back into soils in front of combi. You can pick them up cheap at sales.Great channel good luck with the drilling.
I have an opico vari disc you want to go at about 12 km/h if you set it shallower and go faster it throws the soil more and don’t be afraid to put some weight on the rear roller, if it is blocking up then adjust the angle of the disc less aggressively on hard ground that it won’t cut in adjust them more aggressively.
The Mrs and I took a trip into deep Suffolk earlier today And there were tractors everywhere raking advantage of the weather. It turned out better than forecast in East Anglia. Hope it was kind in your neck of the woods. I wonder if there will be a lot more sub soiling next year.
the crows have started digging up the greens at boothferry golf course i have never seen anything like it before, i thought it was maybe because there was so much wet ground around the greens are obviously drier. im a electrician from york if you would like any help with vermin control please feel free to contact me.
