Oh hell there will be some bald looking trees around the Pocklington area now😂😂😂😂😂. Seriously good on ya for buying a new bit of kit,i dare say it will pay for itself. Laughed at Olly when he was hooking it up. Pipes look a bit long and vulnerable.
I have the exact same shear Richard on my Komatsu 130 and its a great yoke, was just wishing I would have put a 4way headstock on it so it would work out the side for limbing. Good luck and well wear with it anyway
It looked a bit of a palaver to get the attachment hooked on but that will only get quicker as you get used to it. Sure if you can get access and it’s a big if a chainsaw is handy but you are right in that danger zone of trees/limbs under tension/ torsion springing up and causing injury plus you have to haul it out and stack it. A little bit of caution on thickness of branches and overhead cables could be quite the game changer. You will be meeting farming mates you never knew you had. Just watch Olly doesn’t decapitate you with it before April IHT deadline.😂😂
Carry on buying new kit and you'll be a Posh old farm in East Yorkshire!!!
Good stuff, and new to boot.

Now that's a bloody good buy Richard. 👍
Having a tree shear is a handy tool but put a 360 rotator on it. Total game changer, especially pruning up willows.
No willow trees are safe now. Looks like it's going to save a lot of hard graft 👍 cloud maker is going to love it
A rite piece of kit that lad. 👍
