I use to get to mass at least 15min. early to adore the Hidden Jesus. The constant intense talking is so great among all the people that I now pray in my car and come in five minutes before mass.💔
I go to mass happily every time I even look forward to mass. I even go early every time for time alone with the Lord and I have days that can feel his presence and my prayers I cry while praying and days where I just enjoy the stillness, I pray for intercession from Mother Mary and again I can have times where I am crying in their presence and then there is time when I just enjoy the stillness in adoration. I really wish that I could just spend all day everyday just praying and worshiping the Lord, I now see church as my happy place

I pray that other people attending mass would be respectful of others. I have been to mass and I just want to connect with the Lord and behind me someone is talking or whispering nonsense that has nothing to do with the mass. I don't understand why parents bring little children to mass when they are clearly not ready to sit through such a serious occasion such as a religious mass. We all go to mass to worship our God. Some of us are dying. Some of us have family members that are terminally some of us are depressed whatever the reason is that we go to mass. We are all there to worship and participate in the sacred mass. With all this said I ask that we all be respectful to our fellow parishioners and most importantly to our God and show him the respect he deserves by being silent during mass. And if we can't be silent consider staying home or in the lobby. I say all this from a loving respectful place
Excellent video! I would add leaving the gum at home. People chewing gum during Mass is one of my pet peeves.
If you chew gum or eat within an hour before Mass you are not to receive communion .
I wish it was Sunday tomorrow, but hey that just gives me something to look forward to, to get me through the work week. I tend to wake up, say a few prayers, take a shower, get dressed, say a few more prayers and drive to Church. Typically I don't really listen to anything as I'm already preparing myself for Mass. A lot of times, I'll pray while I'm driving. I go to an old Church that is a good ways from where I live, just because I connect with it and the Pastor more fully than the Churches nearer by to me and that gives me enough time even to pray the Rosary. I always get there about 30 minutes early so I can really sit there in relative silence, reflect on the images there and the lessons they represent and get myself in the mindset of thankfulness and Christ. By the time the bell tolls and the pews start filling up, I'm exited and ready for Mass. Like one of our local Knights of Columbus always tells me, "Favorite day of the week!"

Jesus help me. I’m trying to balance everything on my own, but Lord I feel like I’m failing miserably as a single mother. Both sons are special needs I’m so overwhelmed trying to support them on my own. I’m struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children. Priority is the biggest P in my opinion . Sunday should be firstly about the mass and anything else very much second place

Thank you so much for making this video and praying over the topic. I often feel I hadn't intentionally prepared for the Holy Mass with real care, and I can feel it affects my being able to participate and be present, absorb the Mass, etc. These ideas are really helpful and give me concrete changes I can make!
As a mom of 3 kids, 3 years and younger, it's so hard to get in the right mindset before and at Mass. Trying to keep 3 little ones still and quiet is quite a task and it keeps me distracted most of the time. Preparing myself before Mass and saying a prayer and offering up my struggles with kids during Mass has helped. It makes me so much more calm and peaceful bringing them into Mass rather than dreading it. I know that eventually it will all pay off and my kiddos will growing up knowing how to prepare and listen during the Mass. For those parents out there, it's not easy by any means, taking kids to Mass but it's essential, and your children will live by example.
Congratulations for finding a way to persevere!
If I may suggest, have a fun time, or eating out meal scheduled for after. However, make it clear that upsetting you, or others, at Mass causes all to forego the fun, or eating out after. [Applies to the 3 year old at this time ONLY 🤗]
I know it sounds like a bribe. I think it can help younger children to focus on doing better. and when these children are older, they might want to come with you when others would rather go out with friends. It can become built-in family time.
It's just a thought. 😊

I am, however, very disappointed that most of this is not practiced! I don't believe people understand or care about tradition, respect or understanding of the mass. Most, if they go, it's just something 'I should do'. Sad!
The Lord's house has become a 'community function hall' !
Before the mass, very few pray and don't care if I'm praying!
The talking and socializing starts when they enter!!!
The lack of attention and respect continues during the mass...
At the end, they can't wait to leave or begin socializing once again. Not to mention, while the music or choir is singing they speak loudly over it.
So, I ask what is the 3 year Eucharistic Revival for?
Homilies are the same...good, bad or indifferent. Nothing extra with regards to tradition, respect, commonsense, respectful attire and attitude and the list goes on...is being taught and/or reminded! Bible classes are not being held. So what is the 3 years for?
Here's something to ponder...
Why are there no lines of parishioners to confess, yet EVERYONE goes to communion? 🤔
Perhaps there is no need for guidance! Yet, I cannot pray my rosary and spend quiet time with Jesus before mass?
You are participating in a Sacrifice that we all will never fully understand. Because of what Jesus did for each one of us we all have the opportunity to experience His kingdom now and forever! Put the work in and stay focused on Jesus through thick and sin.
I tried drawing myself closer to God and I was rejected. I see no point in putting forth the effort to have a relationship with God when I’m just not wanted.
