There's not a lot on this subject on RUclips, the Heritage Men's Style, so here I am starting it for us so we can discuss it.
Also a quick update on the Iron Heart 666s 21 oz Selvedge Denim.
Many men's styles are focused on current trends but I found myself going back to this heritage style over and over again. If you are finding yourself coming back to this heritage way of style then embrace it and let's do it right together.
This channel is about boosting men's confidence, especially men in their forties or later. It also applies to any men, I mean real MEN that aren't afraid to wear what they want!
Heritage Style for men and this one is focused on the 3 basic things you need to pull this off.
    - Tee Shirt
    - Selvedge Denim
    - Heritage Boots
Please support and subscribe. If you are willing to go further and fund my heritage clothing adventure, please email me at chris.thomas.stone@gmail.com.

Man, I respect your dedication to the denim. After various vacations to Hawaii and other tropical countries I’m pretty sure I’d die if I wore some 21ozs there.

Hahaha, I rock them almost every day as I wrestle with grease and sharp objects in my garage. I'm so used to it. I do wear shorts and t-shirts also...

Merry Christmas, Chris! 🎄Gee, your vehicles in your driveway all look so good! I just love their “masculine” look! Recently, I went through a similar washing process for a couple of new pairs of sweatpants, in cold water, so they wouldn’t shrink. That was a beautiful sunset! It’s images like that, that get me through these frigid Arctic temperatures we’ve been experiencing the past few days! 🌞

Merry Christmas Kevin! Thanks, you know my hustle already haha. My kiddos are home so they have their own now.
I’m sorry about your cold weather and I’m glad you enjoy some of the “b” rolls I provide in my vids. Until next time!

Another great video. Apparently I missed it when it came out due to the holidays. I also got the 666s 21 but in size 32 almost 2,5 years ago. I struggled a lot with them being too tight, especially in the hips/thighs when walking and have since gotten the 777s 21 in size 33, and the 555s 21 in 33 as well. The contrast is incredible and I now enjoy wearing Iron Heart in a whole different way. I'll still be wearing my 666 since they've stretched out quite nice anyway with incredible fades (1 wash), but I'll never expose myself for that kind of tight torture again. I'm too old for that :) Love your content and can't wait to see your update on your 25oz 777's!

Awesome and I hope your holiday was wonderful! I’m loving the new feel on this 666s. Have you seen the new updates on the BS 21.5? I bought that one a size bigger and it is definitely a joy to wear. Aloha!

@@StylishGreaseMonkey Thank you! Our holiday was calm and just what we needed. Hope yours was as nice! I haven't had the pleasure to get familiar with Bravestar jeans up, close and personal yet, aside from your videos and other trustable sources. They seem really great. I'm actually pretty curious to know how different the BS 21.5 fabric feels in comparison to IH 21oz denim. I'm imagining it's perhaps more tightly weaved and more stiff than IH, similar to IH's 19oz left hand twill that's famous for incredible strong contrast fades.

Well done Chris. Your journey with the 666S Iron Heart is fun to watch. I really dig these jeans and think they will last for years! I'm about 25 wears into mine and mixing them in rotation with some others. My wear has been since Sept. 2022 and in my town it has been much cooler than in your tropical climate. I think the color in your tub after the soak was more likely the starch in the denim from the factory. Keep wearing and updating us. Merry Christmas to you, and to your family. Be well!

Aloha Mark and thank you. I’m excited for how this one turned out for sure. I can’t wait for more changes to happen. I’m sure yours is forming to your physical specifications as we speak. You’re right about the starch coming off of it to the water.
Merry Christmas to you as well brother! Mahalo!

Good looking out Chris. I had to change my waist size from 32 to a 31” waist. I’m glad they were able to still make the changes (777 25oz). I ordered them last night, and I’m watching this in the morning. I hate having to exchange clothes. I read on their site that they shrink a little and just overlooked it. But now that I saw this I need to go smaller. 🤙🏼

    • @StylishGreaseMonkey
      @StylishGreaseMonkey  11 месяцев назад

It felt like it shrunk at first soak but it went right back to the size after a few wears. My 666s finally is starting to stretch out…but then again I started to lose weight from all that running. Hopefully not too much weight comes off after this year… thanks for watching my vids and sorry for the late reply.

I don’t have any for you to review but I think you should check out the Outerknown brands SEA jeans. They do offer a Selvedge pair but what’s awesome about them is they come with a lifetime warranty. No strings attached. Which I think is amazing and a game changer in the Jean world.

Merry christmas man... from PH here... you should go all out and get the tabo too... I got a pair of IH 666S 21 oz too and their size 38s not been soaked or washed... the fit is just right, so when i washed them they'll stretch out... ok...

    • @StylishGreaseMonkey

Maligayang Pasko bro! The selvedge used for the 666s is as designed to stretch out over time. Mines one just happened to do it on the first soak.

Deff don’t size down with 21oz denim..heavier the weight the less you can get away with “stretch to fit” theory. Made this mistake when I started too..sucked

Merry Christmas Sir! You should wash jeans to remove dirt, oil and bacteria. The dirt and oil will deteriorate the denim and threads. Bacteria will make you stink. Be smart. God Bless
