@@rexthvi Can't wait to see them. On my channel I look at selvedge (and other clothes) from a slightly older guy's perspective and high-contrast fades are an edgier look but undeniably striking when done well. Be well!
How do they not smell after wearing them so much and not washing? I never understand this do you guys not work in them? Are they just for the fades? Not hating just asking because they look sick af but i just wear ariats at the moment and i am wanting to step into the selvege denim relm but everyone says they go months of not washing and if i wear mine for like a week they feel greasey. I couldnt imagine a heavy fabric like for actual work in the sun and them not smelling.
They don’t get smelly really because denim is such a breathable fabric. I’m wearing some Momotaro jeans right now that haven’t been washed in more than a year and they don’t smell at all. The greasy feeling parts have usually absorbed the most sweat and are usually the first parts to start ripping but then you just get them patched up. They do look cool tho
@@ligitmuffin yeah maybe you sweat a little more or maybe it’s what you eat that makes your sweat stinky but I have no reason to fib! I’ve seen some people use like an odor eliminator spray like Febreeze or somethin. But yeah, a lot of people think it’s weird that I don’t really wash my jeans too much
I wore a pair through welding school 10 months 5 days a week 8 hours a day I just did soaks if they got too caked with metal shavings and whatever I will say don’t buy a a pair with stretch like I did if you’re gonna work around anything kinda sparks or flames it burns up real bad
You mean bleed onto the cardholder? I’m assuming cause the cardholder is sitting inside the cloth of the pocket and protected from rubbing directly with the denim
Yeah after 4 months the 666 are still pretty rigid although they feel a lot more better than they did when I initially put them on. I guess I still have some ways to go!
I find my Samurai to be the most uncomfortable denims I own. Compared to my Iron hearts and Momotaro's. They cripple me in the groin. Seem placement is wrong for me.
I love my 21s and I’m waiting for my 25oz 888s to get back from chainstitch hemming. These look amazing. Can’t wait.
Thanks! The next update we’ll see some real good fades. After the soak, it seemed to have sped up the fading lol. Good luck with the 888s!
It is cool to see some of that sapphire starting along the seams and on those honeycombs. Colol belt too.
Blues are really starting to jump. Gotta get an update video for you all

I think the cuff is great! Good work! Looks like a good weight. I just started working on a pair of Onis.
Thanks! Are your Onis also heavyweight?

@joshvduh sorry but I don't buy them not smelling I wear jeans all the time and if i wear them a few times my friends will comment on them stinking.

What 666 IH this size sir..? And what size your waist @@rexthvi
Looking forward to the future.
hey rex! nice video! do you mind telling me what size you are using in this video? i planned to buy one of these actually, thanks!
Thanks! My pair is a size 29. I highly recommend checking the size chart and choosing a size that has measurements closest to your best fitting jeans
thank you so much rex, already ordered my denim, cant wait for the journey @@rexthvi
That boy snapped n the fit pic u hear me?!
Ok?
How does ur denim not fade on the card holder

@@rexthvi oh ok
What size waist it is sir..? 33 or 34..?
Waist size 29
@@rexthvi and your real waist is 29 inch or more sir..?
I am a 30in waist. These fit fine but i think a 30waist would have been more comfortable. I recommend using their size chart
Very thanks with your suggest mr.@@rexthvi
❤❤❤ always
Nice
29… slim!
Might’ve sized a little too small tho. Had difficulty buttoning them up and had to stretch them out a bit before they felt comfortable
I never would've guessed Alvin and the Chipmunks music would be so popular😒
Gotta appreciate the different styles in music. To each their own! 🙄
@@rexthvi I was going to comment on how fun the music was actually
I have 3 pairs of IH 777, 666 & 555. Frankly speaking Samurai & Momotaro are more comfortable.

@@blueband8114 I agree. I have samurai too and they are not particularly comfortable.
You should not turn them up , look better down
You talking about the cuffs?
@@rexthvi The trouser leg
@@rexthvi yes the cuffs and I agree with Darren
@@itz.stilian i prefer to cuff. The thickness of these 25oz make the stacks more difficult and does not sit right on top of shoes imo
A better improvement to the cuff would be to ditch those shoes.
