- These TINY DANCERS are actually a homopolar motors! To make them you'll need wire, a battery, and neodymium magnets...and a little patience:) This would make a great science fair project!

There are only 7 billion people in the world, seven thousand is not that big
Also homopolar motors are overused

Michelle Kim Thanks so much!
Wow wonderfull
1.Which type of copper wire, enamel or not? / 2. thk.. ? mm.
@Babble Dabble Do I really hope you still check the comments because I really want to do this craft at my camp next week but need to know if any part of this will get hot. I will be doing it with middle school and 4-6th graders. I;d really appreciate a reply from anyone who's done this so i can get approval to buy the supplies asap lol thanks! this is a great project!!!
They can get hot after running for awhile. You will need to monitor the assemblies and if they get hot your should immediately remove the copper wire. I encourage you to try the basic homopolar motor first before making the dancers so that you can be sure your assembly is correct. This project is finicky so be sure to test it before trying it with a group of students. Lots of people have had success with it but I also have had people write me that they were unable to get it working properly. Hope this info helps!
@@Babbledabbledo this didnt work! bullshit!
Good
thanks
do they have to be shaped like that
Please tell me that over the AA battery is magnet or small button cell
It's just a button magnet
Cool.I am gooing to do it👍🙏❤️😎🤣🤣😄😃😀
I am doing that for my science fair project

The tiny dancers are cute
+Justin Miller Thank you!
Can u use aa10
Aí que tope
There three magnets here... if you increase or decrease what can happen?
i think if you increase them it will go faster and decreasing them will make them go slower

It has to be those special magnets, neodymium magnets. Otherwise this would not work.
Really??

but a battery
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
We tried and dirent work trsh
No funciona que mentira
AQUI É BRRR
Ami tampoco me funcionó
Si funciona pero son imanes de neodimio una pila sin batería y cobre, lo hice en la feria de ciencias y es se genera un campo electromagnético, de eso a qué te salgan los bailarines es diferente
