Thank you for sharing this list. It is well researched and presented to us. I appreciate it. In my chicken's case, the main reasons they weren't laying were a rooster that was overmating them (he hopped on, and did the "cloacal kiss" 3-5 times per hen during each mount! What the heck... We finally removed him from our flock. And also I now believe they have depluming mites. They have been bareback (partially from the rooster, and partially from the probably mites) for most of this year. We're finally treating with ivermectin topically for the mites (I also have seen ONE red mite and with Elector PSP to get rid of lice and anything else they may have on them that is treated by both. They should start laying again soon.

I'm very glad it help you find a cause. My neighbor had a same issue with mites, however once spotted and addressed with medicine it is all good within few weeks. Those suckers definately add an extra toll on their bodies πŸ™πŸ’―

Hi, I’ve been thinking about making my own feed lately but the only thing stopping me from doing it is that my own feed won’t have the same vitamins and minerals that comercial feeds have. You mentioned that you use mineral and vitamin extract in liquid form, but you did not say the name of the product. Could you please share this information ?

Of course. As I'm located in europe my particular product might not be available for delivery depending where are you located. However I checked on Amazon in Germany and this product seems quite similar to what I have > "MeineHennen All-in-One 250 ml Multivitamin Supplementary Feed for Chickens, Pigeons and Quails". I think they also deliver internationaly.
