- I finally put my 2020 Mustang GT with the Hellion Sleeper Twin Turbo kit on the dyno to see what kind of horsepower it actually makes. This kit is truly insane. We continue to up the boost level with each successive pull and as expected it threw down some ridiculous numbers. What do you think of the Hellion kit?

7k if you do it yourself and around 6 for a tune

That’s a stunning amount of horsepower from 9.5lbs and 11lbs of boost. Those coyotes really wake up from boost. Can’t wait until we see this in the strip soon

I have a 2019 Ford Mustang Gt 10 speed I been looking at the kit and just to see you get these numbers literally on the town of my car is crazy with just E85 and a kit.

I once did a twin turbo build on a 2V Mustang years ago. I made 725rwhp and 620 rwtq on 18psi.
I started with 8psi, and I wore out the engine and two transmissions. After that I spent a fortune with MMR for a built engine and a TKO tranny. Im in your corner Racer X, but I see a storm ahead. This build is actually just beginning, but I can tell you have already determined this. Good luck my friend! 😎👍🏾

@@RacerX9 My daily gets 30+ mpg and 450 miles to the tank but has 800 less horsepower. 0-60 in eventually but still hold all my fishing gear. ;)~

I am trying to decide between getting vortech v3 jt or hellion tt kit even tho I know the vortech is probably better reliably than turbo but I just love turbos man and its gonna be my first car build so I just wanna know what to expect from this kit if I decide to do it for my daily mustang thanks
@@ronaldobale2886 It's actually the other way around. The turbo is much more efficient because it's not belt driven .. it's also easier on your drivetrain because of the way it makes the power. You need less boost to make the same power. Also the system is enclosed.. no need to change the oil separately .. no belts falling off or slipping... ect. Some thing to consider

Hellion yeah DOHC engines love boost. That turbo set up is great I love how everything is hidden unless you know what your looking for. Ready to see what wheel tire combination now.

Do you want to go built coyote with a built transmission with suspension to match? I’m more a road course guy myself so I’d be happy where you are currently but I know you like the dragstrip. Would you be interested in trying to set a stock bottom end record or some other category for quickest 1/4 mile or 60-130? 💪🏾🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🔥🔥🔥👍🏿

The 3rd gen coyotes are amazing. David Van Voris made 1200ish whp on a completely factory sealed stock motor and stock oil pump gears. Car never blew up and he was running 8.2s. He held the stock coyote motor record for awhile until midnight performance broke it on a stock sealed coyote motor and 10 speed auto. They're in the 8.0s and pushing for 7s if they havent already hit 7s.

Great kit..helped a buddy install one on a 2015 mustang...but..the smoothing was set a 5..which is the highest smoothing and will make the graph look smooth..look at at 1 or 2..im not dissing..great build but i knew it was at a 5 before i saw it on the screen

@@RacerX9 Question man if I were to buy the best hellion twin system for a mustang Gt does it come with everything I need or is waste gates, personal customization of pipes, and a boost gauge not included, or is this all a package at a shop. I guess what I’m asking is how much is it for labor tuning and extras after the kit is bought I in order to get it installed.

Nice brother 💯🔥 , I noticed on the Mopar's the torque seems to be a lot closer to the HP , less but not as big of gap from the Ford's , maybe that's why them big heavy cars are fast because we know torque.is what moves a vehicle kinda like the diesel engine makes so much torque to move them trucks , tractor trailers etc. Nice set up you got can't wait to see it at the track💯👍

Impressive! How is fuel and spark being managed, Ford ECU or aftermarket?
Here's some number with a coyote. Hellions kit with twin 64mm made 1346rwhp on pumped 93. No meth, no octane boost or anything. Just straight pump 93. Boost makes power if you know can tune or know someone who can.

A good estimate is it usually takes around 14.7 lbs of boost to double your NA horsepower. Not always, but it's a good reference to estimate how much power you'll make you can adjust for your actual boost.
Won't take that much with a turbo kit like this on a coyote. He was doubling his stock power at around 10-11. The 4v dohc motors love boost. They reapond incredibly well.

You're right. But not every motor responds the same. It's just a general guideline. I just use it for estimating to get somewhere in the ballpark.

Nice numbers I’m getting a hellhorse 67/64 tt kit on right now with fore fuel system and having midnight so the clutches in the 10speed but stock motor deal but I’m going to have it ran to 14-15psi but I’m going to run it on 10lbs mostly.
That’s basically the setup on my 18 I’m over 1000 on 15psi through a 10 speed. It’s fun
