Its still a work in progress at the moment.. likely a 9 in the front with a 10.5 wheel in the back.. I will probably run a 555R in the back since they do better in the rain than the Street SS's do

Yes they can get you headers and get them installed and do the tuning.. give Phil and shout up there
Question - what do you feel are the best extra security measures you can add to your car? I know the club is useless since the wheel could be removed or cut but I want to add something to my '15 Scat Pack Shaker as I work in a bad area. The main goal is try to prevent as much as possible knowing that is all you can do. Current employer knows it is a bad area but won't add cameras or security claiming "we have enough measures" even after an Escalade was damaged in broad daylight that was directly in front of mirror reflective windows & no one saw the person who did it (yes HR ended up being involved but no changes made). I'm going to get the update when Dodge releases it but would feel better if there was anything else I can add.

Racer X, that mustang is going to be friggen sick when finished! I'm still trying to adjust to you leaving dodge for Ford. But when you got a better platform to build upon, you gotta go with it. I've been watching weather channel last few days and seems like Texas is under water. Hopefully you can find some dry pavement to put all that power down. I'm still a dodge fan, but like you, can't wait to see what that mustang can do. Also just throwing it out there, maybe you can use the song Hellion by Judas Priest as your theme song. It's bad ass song, just like it's a bad ass mustang. Peace from the North East!

We are definitely under water lol.. I still love Mopar as well .. no worries. Also thanks for the suggestion on the song.. I will check it out
I understand you aren't going to be driving this around in bad weather, but I am wondering how much of an issue it might be pulling any moisture etc off the road with turbos mounted underneath like that?

Does the sprocket and oil pump gear come with the hellion kit or is it purchased separately and how much should i look to spend for the same exact work

Going to need to invest more, 1000-2000 in the rear suspension, subframe collars, suspension/traction arm, and braces to put that power down.

Just curious Racer X but now that you’ve been to gearheads would you prefer them for the build and tune or do you prefer peitz performance? Just asking so I know where to take my mopar stuff lol.
I asked a year ago and you said peitz performance
Peitz is a great tuner.. Gearheads does great mechanical work and does tuning as well. The issue is that Peitz is in Houston and Gearheads is local so it much more accessible to me. I trust them both ..
@@RacerX9 Thanks I appreciate the info. Also if I'm a newbie and don't know what upgrades to do next do they have packages like hey bring $10,000 and we can do 1000HP no problem? It says their website is currently being upgraded so I cant see. I tried emailing a shop before not this one and got nowhere they just like to spout off a few things I could upgrade but never says how much and this is what I would recommend you bring x dollars and I'll get it done type thing.

How many miles on your GT?
Since the turbo is under the car doesn't that make it harder to get air than if it were in the front hood ?
It's actually the oposite.. it works better for both cooling and general airflow.. plus there's less relocating of parts with this setup

Mustangs are not sleepers.
Now my 1978 Olds Delta 88 4 door, stock looking with hub caps that has a 468 stroker in it is a sleeper. 😎

I think it depends on how you define a sleeper .. I have seen a mini cooper that would run low 9's lol.. It still looks like a stock Mustang GT.. just makes more than double the power... It's all relative I suppose

Can you build up a mustang, yes.
Is it a sleeper ?
Debateable, many expect a mustang to do something (other than crowd surf 😂)
But if you just switch your scenario a bit, it would work.
Start with an LX, then swap the GT or Cobra or Saleen package under it.
Now you have a sleeper.
I did that with my 86 LX.
To put it into perspective, my neighbor has 31 mustangs.
He has a few rare ones but his pride & joy is his 98 Cobra.
People expect that car to be fast, its a legit Cobra.
This man custom built the motor & intake / drivetrain.
I would say a Coyote would get spanked, hard, by that car because he races his uncles built Yamaha R1 and does not lose.
Is that a sleeper ?
It looks stock, but its a Cobra.
Its not a sleeper unless you cannot tell what a built motor sounds like.
If you know, then you know its not a sleeper, its a freakin Monster !
Not tryin to argue, but I guess people have different ideas as to what a sleeper is

The undermount turbo's seem to stay cooler .. the kit fits together great.. less relocating
Will adding a hellcat lower airbox to a 392 increase horsepower?
Yes .. get the headlight tube as well if its a challenger

It wont be a problem at all. The turbo filters actually tuck way up underneath.. its a great design

Should have went with Lund for tuning
Really two options with these cars for the most part.. Palm Beach and Lund.. just depends on who you ask as to who is better..

I asked at a dealer ship at Irving and they did not know what I was talking about. Can you recommend me a dealer ship in the Metroplex so I can go and have that update,, Thanks for your help.
I'm not sure which dealers have received the update at this juncture .. they should all be getting it soon if they haven't already. It came out as an update suite and it seems that alot of these guys don't even know what all things the update did.. seems crazy but its true.

It's not easy, but what keeps me going are setbacks. Honestly, setbacks and adversity really help me become a better version. I do not know how you do this. I live in California & if I tried changing my Challenger engine I would lose my Warranty.
Sir there a dealer here in ohio sown in Cincinnati that does all this kind of work on new mustang's and it doesn't voided the warranty at all. They do 650 to 750 hp mustang gts dealership is called Beechmont ford.
The Warranty will pretty much be a thing of the past unfortunately

@@RacerX9 better look at again at Beechmont ford performance then just built a base model gt 658hp at wheels still has warranty. I belive cause they use all fors authorized parts is why. Plus its cheap.lol ir a utuber look at thier page .

As a professional mechanic, I would be cautious seeing an adjustable wrench being used to build a car...
Was used to hold the cam to move for timing, only thing it was used for I can ensure you
RacerX I have a question. Don't you have to worry about ring gaps? It is a stock engine right? Are you going to limit the amount of boost? What do you think the maximum boost is that you can run?
The Coyote is more robust from the factory .. completely different design but it still has it limitations. I will be running it at a max of 10psi on wastegate until the engine and trans and fully built up. Should still be rocket even at that boost level though
I wish you still had the Mopar. It’s hard to watch a Mustang video.
Better get some Steeda IRS suspension parts or you will be wheel hop’in and going sideways.
Suspension and Drive Train will be next
