Report:
On 07/14/2022,
Officers were dispatched to meet with management at the CVS in reference to a female subject that stole items from the store. Officers were advised that the suspect was not on scene and that they had the subject on video. While officer was responding to the store he was informed that the suspect had returned to the store and they wanted to also bar (warn of criminal trespass) the suspect.
As officer was getting in the area he was advised that she had just left the store and a clothing description. Officer went and made contact with the suspect. Officer explained that the store had advised that they wanted to bar her and she agreed to return to the store and walked back.
In the suspects bag she still had the two large laundry detergents that were seen being taken from this store on video. When questioned about the first shoplifting (deodorant and air fresh) she stated that she left them in the store. Management asked her to show them where she put it and she started down one isle over from the isle that she was actually in on the video and then corrected by management.
EMS responded to the scene and transported her to the hospital. The store was unclear of charges for the shoplifting but she was informed that she was barred from the store before transport took place.

This cashier lady was very dense and all over the place. She didn't want to charge her or make any decisions. The police told her, we cannot decide for you. They need to be better trained on how to handle shoplifters.

@@blackcherry6877 she's being empathetic, not dense. she said her grandson was homeless for a while. she was being a decent person and not wanting to prosecute someone for stealing laundry detergent if she didn't have a history of shoplifting aka this isn't a regular thing they do, they just fell on hard times and this is (hopefully) going to be the wake up call. she wouldn't have been arrested anyways, they said in the video it would have just been a citation so either way she wasn't going to jail for it unless she started resisting or running or something.
If stores won't press charges they shouldn't call the cops.

My son in law is a Fireman EMT in a suburb of Detroit . They get calls almost everyday for stuff like this , even for a traffic ticket they'll say they are having trouble breathing and chest pains so off to the hospital at tax payers expense . The Police finally got smart and follow the Ambulance to the ER and hand them their ticket anyway.

The hospital took her temperature: Normal. Her heart rate was normal. Blood pressure, fine. These people SCREAM they want admitted and the hospital just takes their stats and tells the police there is nothing wrong with them. In and out within 15 minutes and back to jail. Judges need to jail these thieves more.

I witnessed someone fake a seizure and when I stood there with the look of disgust on my face I was made out to be "heartless" even though the hospital told the husband every time she's been here she's never once had a seizure. If he wasn't paying attention to her and talked to anyone else or if she wasn't the center of attention she did exactly what this woman did... Just absolutely foul. After the 3rd time I was rude as hell and said, "I can't be around this ridiculous bullshit, she's disgusting for pretending have seizures and y'all can deal with her mental illness but I won't!" Never seen them again after that. The worst part is he had a mesh implant in his stomach with a colostomy bag, he was really sick and she couldn't handle him having any attention. 🤦♀️ Some people have no shame.

I work at a grocery store in California. Besides the constant stealing from the homeless encampment that happens, there’s multiple people that come in to buy one of them a sandwich/food. I once saw 3 people in an hour period feel they were being good samaritans by buying the same guy multiple lunches. When I went out on break I’d see him throw it away and continue asking people for money.
I understand the cashier wants to help-but she doesn’t want it. Tough love is the best answer sometimes.
When I get approached by homeless people for money "for food" I offer to buy them some food. They will turn down the offer and walk away.
After all that, she was let go? And then she thought...."well, back to the grind" and continued to immediately shoplift at two more places. LOL

As a retired medical professional, that's neither an example of a seizure, nor such a nonchalant "recovery".... IMHO

I worked LP some years back and what you see behind the cameras will make you lose all faith in humanity. On one particular evening I had a male enter the store, unzip his flay and piss the entirety of the aisle. End to end. I'm recording this while he does so. Then he walks over, picks up a hand basket, walks back to his urine and slides his foot through it while laying down on the ground. Then he started screaming, faking pain and injury. As the staff called the ambulance, I called PD. While I was still recording the EMTs, I showed Denver PD the entire footage of him pissing down the aisle and laying down in his piss. As the EMT's carefully loaded him on the gurney, the Officers walked over and jerked him up and arrested him for fraud. (Thankfully it was Denver and not Aurora.) That million dollar camera system they installed, just saved them millions in a lawsuit. Yup, you get to a point that you find yourself saying "I've, seen and heard it all", so when they pull this crap, you know exactly how guilty they are. They need to make her pay for the theft, legal fees and medical care after cooling her heels in jail for a couple of years.
Knew kids like that when I worked at an elementary school. You would actually see someone hit another, confront them about it, and they’d be screaming a denial! You’d tell them that you saw it with your own eyes, and they’d still insist that they didn’t do it!

Why do people lie about seizures? I have MS and severe epilepsy, I of course never remember anything, but my loved ones, especially my daughter is the one that sees what I go through. Thank God my meds are correct and I haven’t had any, people it’s not OK, to fake seizures, AT ALL!!!

As a kid I witnessed my big sister several times having seizures: violently shaking, eyes rolled back in the sockets, biting her tongue seeing blood drip from her mouth, falling out on the highway in the middle of the streets. Trust me it was very HORRIFYING to see my sister in that condition for years growing up as a kid back in the day. As of today my sister takes medication and hasn't had a seizure in years 😔🙏

I understand why the cashier only wanted to ban her from the store bc she just spoke to her about second chances. That performance was pitiful. I know that offenders should get jail time, but a lot of judges don't because of overcrowding and the need for space for violent crimes.
