Doesn't matter to me if it "was" an illegal firearm. He was defending himself, and shouldn't be charged. Illegal, means his past prevented him from legal purchase, or just the gun came back stolen, or both? Missing information, more would've been much better. he waited until they were fleeing( no longer a threat of bodily harm and or death ) to act so no he wasnt defending himself at that point , that was punitive action. and the firearm he was in possession of and used is apparently stolen so he was not morally or legally in the right

In my opinion we need to focus on the fact that a bus driver felt it necessary to have a gun. Things are so out of hand it feels like it’s the only way to protect yourself nowadays.Young adults/teens keep doing wild things like beating on adults, stealing, or causing trouble and facing little to no repercussions.
